The Apostle Tells You How You WILL Observe The Sabbath

The Apostle has laid down the law on how you should be observing the Sabbath.  Epescially for you disgruntled COG members who are disturbed by all the constant upheavals in the COG's.  So you have jumped ship from UCG into COGaWA.  You now realize you made a mistake and don't know what to do.  So feeling sorry for yourself you want to sit at home on your sorry little behind and whine.  But have no fear, the Apostle is here and has specific instructions for you!

Apostle Malm's rules and regulations are:

Rule 1: First the Sabbath is a commanded assembly. Lev 23:3  Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.
Rule 2: This does NOT mean assembling with just anyone!  We are to assemble with like minded persons in a godly manner.
 To assemble with heathen is not a HOLY convocation;
(i.e. you are not to assemble with anyone outside the COG.  Even then they must be strong, firmly rooted believers in HWA's teachings.)
Rule 3:  To be HOLY any convocation must be in their name [by their authority or command] and it must be God centered; Christ centered; and centered on the Father.
(i.e.  Since they do not know Jesus and ignore what he taught they do not know the Father.)
Rule 4: Assembling with those who will not obey the Father and will not accept his instruction and correction through his spirit ARE NOT SONS OF THE FATHER!  They are NOT brothers of those who do love the Father enough to obey him and accept his instruction.
Each brother is to assemble with Christ and the Father.  That IS the PRIORITY; the FOCUS!

(i.e.  Armstrongism always has to label people as 'others'.  It needs a bogeyman to blame and to make themselves feel more special and set apart)

Rule 5:We must assemble with those who we have proved to ourselves are of the same mind and have the same spirit of God.

Who did Adam and Eve assemble with?  Who did Enoch assemble with?  What corporate church did Noah assemble with?  The key is to stand with the Almighty and NOT with men; then those who do likewise will come together.  After that Satan will sow his tares until they rise to the top and take over any corporation and then those faithful to God will leave to be loyal to him and start anew.  That is the history of the New Covenant assembly of the Called Out!

God  is allowing this for a PURPOSE!  To teach those who would govern with him in the Kingdom: Absolute loyalty to HIM ALONE: No matter what anyone else does!  He does NOT want another rebellion with someone going astray and leading others; he want us all to be totally loyal to HIM, so that if by chance anyone does go astray: NO ONE WILL FOLLOW THEM ASTRAY!

To teach us this very important lesson he allows this to happen over and over through each new generation!  This is the VITAL lesson of complete loyalty to God above loyalty to anyone or anything else!
(i.e. Apostle Malm is ignorant about the New Covenant.  It cannot be kept by attaching  any of the 613 laws of the Hebrews)

The Apostle is setting his acolytes up for the formation of his new splinter cult starting sometime around the Feast this year:

BE SURE
I have repeatedly said that people should stay where they are until the fruits of what is going on mature.  Recently I stepped back from that as some fruits are now coming clear and I realize that this is very much a matter of personal understanding and decision.
Let me say this.  At this time the fruits have not yet reached their full maturity.  Things that are obvious to some may be obscure to others.  This is a transitional situation.  I expect that in the near future  [within a year and most likely around or soon after the fall Feast]  much will work out.  At that time the faithful will come out of these various groups and come together into a new, much more godly association.

The End is Here!  God is sifting the COG to weed out the rebellious heinous sinners from it's midst.  Only the true followers of the Apostle will understand.  It's time to scare the sheeple once again!

Brethren, God is sifting his people and the “Hour of  Trial” is at the door for Laodicea and the whole world.
PREPARE YOURSELVES!   ARM YOURSELVES WITH THE SWORD OF TRUTH!   FORTIFY YOURSELVES IN OUR HIGH TOWER OF STRENGTH!
Use the Sabbath and all the other time available to fight the good fight against the evils that are already evident; and to prepare for what lies ahead!

Malm is just exploiting the situation of divisions to draw a following after himself AND to GET their money.

I wish god would finish "sifting his people" and take them all somewhere away from me.

The "profit of God" (oops! I mean "prophet of God") said," Brethren, God is sifting his people and the “Hour of Trial” is at the door..."

MY COMMENT - Yeah right! And pigs fly!

God's traveling evangelist Gerald Waterhouse use to say the same thing 40 years ago. It gets old after awhile.

My guess is that Malm is getting ready to cash in on the shrinking COG market and launch his own fear religion business. It should bring enough money in to support a comfortable lifestyle. Just ask Dave Pack and Ron Weinland.

Brethren, hide your wallets! Quickly!

Scripture indicates that Jesus came to reconcile humanity to God the Father Most High. Now if you believe that, and the rest of the New Testament (which gets to be more and more a challenge every week that goes by, it should be clear that you can't obtain salvation by works. Should you remember to keep the Sabbath Holy? If you do, you should also remember that all the Sabbath keeping in all of time will not get you into the Kingdom of God. That's what the Bible says.

The sign of God's people under the Old Covenant was the Sabbath. But what is it in the New Testament? The sign that the world was to recognize that people were Christ's disciples was? Was it keeping the Sabbath? If my memory serves me correctly, it was to love one another, was it not.

OK then.

So here's what's what: Just how much "love" does David Malm's dos and don'ts exhibit? How DO they differ from the dos and don'ts of the Pharisees of the First Century AD?

As for CoGWA members being dissatisfied after coming across from the UCG, it's difficult to ascertain why. After all, they ALL SPEAK THE SAME lies. In fact, thanks to Henrik Blunck over on the Armstrongism - The Ultimate Guide (which should probably be included in the links if not already), it is now clear that both CoGs are mining with the very same United States and British Commonwealth in Prophecy rubbish.

The solution offered by Malm doesn't seem to fit any problems I can see. How about you?

The real problem is that Armstrongism is delusional. All churches of Armstrongism are cults (and not benign ones either). The real solution would be to dump their stupid erroneous provably false pseudo history of the ACoG and kill off The United States and British Commonwealth trash.

But to do that would require an entire change in thinking and remapping absolutely everything in the neat tidy little one solution fits everything heresy. They would no longer be talking about Governance endlessly (something apparently the Apostles spent absolutely no time on) but would be forced to figure out just what their purpose was. Preaching Christ? Gospel, what gospel?

Of course, if they drop BI and church history, there's an immediate problem with tithing: There is no record anywhere in the Bible of anyone paying tithes on wages. None. Sure, tithe on the produce from the land God gave you. You didn't earn that. But wages? The workman is worthy of his hire and tithing would be stealing. It's insulting.

Then again, if you don't have those three tithes -- a proposition tangentially related to BI -- you don't really have the finances to keep the Feasts, do you? And just where has the Lord put His Name on keeping the Feast of Tabernacles? We don't have the Levites to tell us any longer, now do we? Not to worry, we'll just use their calendar... uh, maybe you should rethink that too.

Does the New Covenant really insist that we have to keep Feasts to attain Salvation? Or were they shadows of the spiritual to come? I don't pretend to begin to know the answer to that, but I may have a more clear view of things than the Armstrongists do, after doing scads of research.

After they get all through with the assessment, which, by the way, if done properly, would take years, even decades, just what viability would be left in ACoGs? No, really?

By this time, people should go back to their Protestant religions, or the Catholics, or to the CoG7D or become atheists or agnostics.

They lied. They continue deliberately and knowingly lie. Don't think the ACoG administrators don't already know all this -- it scares the spit out of them. Awhile back, I thought they were innocent. Not so. They KNOW.

And it doesn't look like Malm is going to make anything better because he's part of the problem.

Malm stopped speaking to me when I told him that the doctrines of "tithing", and "ordained ministers" were lies. I don't think we had gotten into the lies of "sabbath" and "holyday" keeping yet. Anyone who disagrees with him gets shut out pretty damn quick!

I believe it is evident that Malm must be investigated and any contact he may have had with law enforcement or mental facilities be bought forth into the light.

Malm's attempt at the recycling of Armstrong-ism, is like turning a shit sandwich into something delightful. Can he pull it off? The secret is to make Armstrong-ism more palatable.

There is a mental quirk that leads people to want a strict and strenuous religion. Malm will appeal to people like that and there is no way to prevent it.

Thankfully, the world has changed and it is more difficult to set up a way to make mass appeal to millions of people possible. The maze of cult splits are pretty well confined to feeding off the remnants and splitting into smaller and smaller and more fanatical little groups.

I wonder if Malm doesn't actually suffer from tertiary siftillis.

Probably got it from used needling.

So now, what are the Dos and Don'ts for Father's day by this Prophet who is busy turning the hearts of the Fathers back to the children and the children to the Fathers?

And do we have any Dos and Don'ts about the pure religion and undefiled of visiting the fatherless in their affliction and helping the widow (in ways not associated with... um... you know)?

Our expectation of instruction in the ways of the Pharisees is not being met -- we just can't figure out how to include the leavening....
