Thiel: 4 or 5 of My Predictions About Guttenberg Have Come True!

The bromance heats backup after a long dry spell.

Bob Thiel, the official spokesman of the Living Church of God is so accurate in his predictions that he is boasting that 4-5 of his predictions about the Baron have come to pass.  That's a better track record than his boss or HWA even had!  We stand in awe!

As regular readers know, I have wondered for a couple of years if former German Defense Minister Baron Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg was a candidate to possibly be the final King of the North of Daniel 11 and Beast of Revelation. The fact that he actually fulfilled 4 or 5 speculative predictions I made about him, after I posted them, suggests to me that he is still a candidate–despite his falling out of favor (Winston Churchill was not always popular, nor was Adolph Hitler).

Of course, Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg could simply be a somewhat politician with many ups and downs. And all his intentions could be fine. But Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg does seem, to me at least, to be taking the types of steps that one who could possibly be the final King of the North would actually take.

Bob better watch it. One thing the Aristocracy of the COG's, ie, the minister class, will not tolerate is competition, or a laymember rising above his station. They will cut him loose quicker that it takes HWA to drain a bottle of Bristol's. It won't matter if Bob is doing his job, or helping the church (in their own, crazy mission); just like all totalitarian regimes, there are Purges and the only one safe is the guy at the top (Phallic Meredith).

"speculative predictions"

What can you say about someone who can't even spell Hitler's first name correctly???

Besides, most can see through this 4 out of 5 thingie he has going on.
If you presume to define the criteria (as Herbie always insisted on doing at the beginning of all of his sermons and dissertations), you can always prove that you were right. This is as much a lesson in WCG reasoning patterns as it is of anything else. Basic small mindedness, and Thiel doesn't even realize his own limitations. How embarrassing!

Ah, the Fifth Beast of Revelation, used as a part of the Third Coming of Christ.

So many assumptions.

So much refutations.

No proof.

Just what is Bobby's Doctorate in, basketweaving for hand baskets?

I dunno: I suspect that Robert Thiel would be better served to learn to speak Chinese, rather than German.

Paul Ray,

My assumption was that Bob Thiel was free to speculate at will (or at least had much freedom) without much regard to what Meredith thought. I don't know he came to this position, but for whatever reason Meredith never seemed to care- as far as I could tell anyway.

Fairly recently there was a post (I assume by NO2HWA) that said Bob Thiel was Meredith's mouthpiece. I didn't get a chance to comment then, but that seems like an interesting thought. Like I said, I always assumed that Thiel came up with this stuff on his own. I can't imagine Meredith speculating on Guttenberg behind the scenes, but maybe I am wrong.

Anonymous,

I believe that Thiel is speaking on his own behalf, and that Meredith and Co. tolerate him due to his *ahem* high internet profile and his *ahem* degree. My point is that if he takes his predictions too far- that is, takes too much credit, begins to sound like HWA and GTA in continual use of the word "I," or veers from sanctioned LCG ideology, he will be quickly taken in hand.

I wonder if Bobby Thiel will ever stop fantasizing about what the Baron's penis is doing?!
