Apostle Malm: Salvation Only Available Though Him and Perfect Law Keeping

We have Dave Pack declaring that salvation is only available though him and his cult.

Gerald Flurry says salvation is only available to those who belong to the Philadelphia Church of God.

Apostle Malm says salvation is only available through those that follow his words of warning and are faithful law keepers.  But beware of all the other splinter cults because they are fraudulent lairs who do not follow the law.  Salvation cannot be found in these other groups.  Jesus Christ apparently is not going to do a damn thing for you unless you keep every single law.  Then, maybe, Jesus Christ will find some minuscule part of you favorable and forgive you.

Those who call themselves God’s people, who swell with pride; declaring that   they are Philadelphian Christians, because they are faithful to the teachings   of Herbert Armstrong, have already been deceived and turned away from God..   Because they have allowed some person to come between them and God, they have   gone astray. They are really blind, and wretched and spiritually naked; and   they know it not.

The law will exist as long as matter exists. As long as the heavens and the earth exist, the commandments of God exist and must be fulfilled. They must be kept. They must be done. And in Matthew 19 and verse 17 our Lord also said, “Why callest me good? There is none good but one, that is, God”. Even Jesus Christ said, “I am not good. Only God is good”. It is the Father; and to enter into life, last part of the verse, if you will enter into life; keep the commandments. What commandments? The commandments of God, of God the Father, for we are even told to pray to the Father, “Thy will be done”. And what is His will? “That we do what He tells us, that we do what He says. We are to keep His commandments and we are to pray that His commandments be kept. We are to pray, “Thy will be done”.

It doesn’t work that way. We have to learn to behave now while we are children, before we become spiritual adults. When we are spiritual adults, when we are mature in the things of God, when we are keeping the commandments of God, that is when we will be allowed into God’s kingdom; and not before. If we are NOT keeping His commandments, we are not repentant of sin. We are NOT repenting and turning away from breaking those commandments, the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, which is the key to opening the door to God’s Kingdom and letting us in will NOT be applied to us and we will not be allowed entry into God’s Kingdom.

It all gets so confusing on who is right!  What's a poor COGlet member to do????? A poor church member really has no hope whatsoever of ever making it.

Concluding post statements were: "...What's a poor COGlet member to do????? A poor church member really has no hope whatsoever of ever making it..."

Good points to consider! The Packites, Flurryites and Malmites...xcogs...all think they are the center of God's Universe and all wraps around SELF...themSELVES!

What happened to the "good old days" when certain other men taught that:

"...Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved." Acts 15:1

Ouch!

Christ had more to say than speak about keeping the commandments. Perhaps other of His words should be considered? Maybe there is a bigger picture involved, for he also said this regarding something about "sheep:"

"...Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:" Matthew 25:34

Prepared? From when? From the "foundation of the world?"

And subsequent verses in Matthew 25say nothing about commandment-keeping, which are nice to keep as a way of life, but who is able, of and by SELF, to perfectly keep them commandments?

Not Pack! Not Flurry! Not Malm! Not Meredith! Not Luker! Not Franks...not (insert a name other than Jesus Christ)...

Maybe God does have something else in mind. Maybe God's thoughts/ways are high above a Pack, a Flurry, a Malm, a ....yes, even Anonymous...and poor Church members...

They are selective in their applications of Paul's teaching.
I have extreme difficulty even considering Armstrongites to be Christian, although I do realize that in many cases they are sincere. They believe that legalism is the only acceptable way of demonstrating their love for God and qualifying for the place of safety and the kingdom. Other Christians believe that one must share one's faith at every possible opportunity. If you don't, though they don't use the term Laodecean, but you are not considered to be a very strong follower of Jesus Christ.

And what is that niggling obscure little Commandment among the Ten?

It goes something like this:

"Thou shalt not bear false witness...."

Let's see now.

Every last Armstrongist leader and minister preaches the prophecies rooted in the ridiculous and thoroughly disproved British Israelism, which leads them to be false prophets.

The ALL bear false witness.

They cannot inherit the Kingdom of God, if we are to believe Revelation 22.

None of them have salvation.

Furthermore, none of them have a clue as to how to lead anyone to salvation.

They lie to you and then take your money.

They need to shut up now, lest a worse thing come upon them.

I see fields and fields full of tares, with a few stray heads of wheat poking up where some joker sowed among the tares....

Don't get me started again on this infuriating topic.

The CLEAR REASON why no worldly minister--whose ambassador lifestyle and fortune depends on the illegal tithes and monetary offerings of his sheep--will ever admit their particular group is only a part of the 'body of the Messiah' is plain:

$20$ $50$ $100$ $20$ $50$ $100$

If they had the 'faith' to speak what they know is correct, it would siphon off some if not most of their plunder.

These men are PROFITS not PROPHETS--their gods are BENJAMIN, ALEXANDER, and ULYSSES.

There are COG FAMILY DYNASTIES in some of the ASIAN countries where generations since HWA have built lavish compounds in the guise of 'serving the brethren.' Their own children, regardless of their lifestyles, are 'ordained' as elders and deacons, in order to keep those beautiful pesos 'all in the family'....

I've witnessed them personally fly in to receive the tithe bag and fly right back home once a month.

It is commonly reported by those victims, that such hirelings annually take the paltry second tithes from the poor brethren as soon as they arrive at FOT and then beg the Western guests for financial aid for the same brethren who will receive NONE of the US$. Instead, the offerings will go to start up family computer cafes or additions to their compounds, etc.

They have their 'reward' and will pay a price when all is accounted for. So will we all.

These guys are so bent on commandment keeping, that the break the 2nd greatest commandment of JC, Love your neighbor as yourself. I see Pack hating Meredith, Pack hating Flurry, Meredith hating Fred Coulter, it just goes on and on the hate of the ministry for each other. Its really sickening how none of them can work together and each wants the top position. What did Jesus say about that? Not to "Lord it over your brothers". Come on, these guys selectivly only preach what keeps them in power, not the true message of Jesus. I hope I live to see the day that these
"churches of the self" fizzle into oblivion.

I don't think you'll have to wait much longer Mish-Mash. What with the despical behavior of Weinland, the inane Germanophobia of Flurry, the crying poor Luker, etc etc I'm sure their member numbers will reflect their morals soon enough being bankrupt as they are! What I'm trying to wrap my head around though is the recent changes in Meredith's LCG especially about the apostasy involving mainstream Christians--is that right?! And yet they aren't even a part of any COG group?! So what's RCM and Douglas Winnail exactly saying?! Whatever it is I get the feeling that the writing is on the wall for them all. They've been weighed in the scales and have been found wanting.

And yet they live on and on and on.

In watching and waiting and predicting their demise, sometimes I think that we end up as a fixed point against which they resist. These groups are miniscule, and they grow more and more confused as time progresses. By even taking notice of them, perhaps we exaggerate their importance in their own minds.

They deny that mainstream Christianity has been in place and fairly consistent for over 2,000 years, and consign many cherished Christian practices, beliefs, and traditions to paganism.

I hate to see former brethren become disillusioned, but possibly that would be their first step towards a better sense of reality.
