Apostle Malm: Beast To Set Up Abomination of Desolation December 25, 2013?

It's been a busy day for speculation in COGland today.  Prophet Bob Thiel has laid out his plans for the end times and now the Apostle Malm is laying out his.  Prophet Thiel and Apostle Malm could not be further apart in their understandings.  BRETHREN! This is DISUNITY in the CHURCH!

The Apostle writes:

Merkel, Germany’s chancellor, wants leaders to agree at their summit in Brussels on 13-14 December to hold a first meeting of a convention on a new treaty, reports the Germany weekly magazine Der Spiegel.

A treaty convention, made up of representatives of the European Parliament and European Commission, as well as of member state governments, is needed to draft a new treaty.

Merkel sees a new EU treaty as necessary to enshrine in law the sharing of sovereignty that she deems necessary in return for the pooling of debt that is being demanded by other eurozone countries.

However, it could be a divisive move by the German chancellor who will be faced with opposition to a new treaty from many countries . Germany is likely to want the European Central Bank to be made responsible for scrutinising member states’ budgets under the new rules.

Scripture tells us that no agreement can be concluded and ratified until a miracle working final false prophet called “A Desolating Abomination” is set up in the Papacy, Rev 13, 2 Thess; and calls for the new European Order; which will amount to a revival of the unHoly Roman Empire.

Once this false prophet is set up in the Vatican [Due to the advancing age and health problems of Benedict this is now highly likely to be a NEW pope], and he uses his influence to set up the New Europe, he will go to the Holy P{lace within 75 days of teh date he is set up and the tribulation will begin as he visits the Holy Mount and Peace and Safety is proclaimed to be achieved.

It is an interesting note that IF this abomionation were to be set up around 6 Oct 2013, then he would go to the Holy Place around Dec 25 2013 to declare peace in the Middle East.

Apparently this demon possessed dude is really into "dark tings" and all things demonic:

This “Beast” is described as a man of intimidating appearance who understands “dark tings” [occult, demonic and things hidden]  and is possessed by a demon.

I must have missed that verse in the Bible about "dark tings" in the end times.  I look forward to Prophet Thiel letting the world know he is an authority on this too.

And people wonder why I make fund of these guys......

Isn't this the fifth round of one more Pope to go and his name will be Peter???

Is that like a gun lap or 3-5, 10 at the most, no more than 15, 20 years tops???

Malm has gotten so good at changing dates without apology or shame that he is now fully qualified to start his own church.

On another subject (since I don't see a better place to post this), check out Microsoft's new ad and guess where it was filmed:

The Surface Movement

A correction to your headline: It should be December 25, 2013.

Ermagerd. That ad does not make me want a Microsoft Surface. Also, it was impossible to pay attention to anything but the creepy background.

Malm should wait to see if the Beast of Revelation is re-elected November 6.

I think it's kinda predictable that Malm thinks that the Beast will set up the "abomination of desolation" on Christmas Day since isn't that the day (i.e. 12/25) that the original Antichrist(i.e. Antiochus Epiphanes) desecrated the 2nd Temple back in 167BC? I don't think he's alone to think that this date will be again reserved for the future "abomination of desolation" if history repeats. So it's all just more conjecture and speculation. So why even bother? It shows a level of deep anxiety I think in these ACOG leaders to feel so compelled to have to predict the future--and an apocalyptic future at that! I'd like to tell them to take a chill pill or something and enjoy life rather than worry about tomorrow or next year for heaven's sake!

COG people and leaders spend so much time predicting the future, they forget to live in the only real thing they have...the present.

James Malm wrote: "...This “Beast” is described as a man of intimidating appearance who understands “dark tings” [occult, demonic and things hidden] and is possessed by a demon..."

James Malm would do himself a favor in identifying the beast by avoiding his speculations. Why not use the Bible, which God inspired? For example, here is a description of the beast:

"And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a BEAST rise up out of the sea, having SEVEN HEADS AND TEN HORNS, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy." Revelation 13:1

Does that sound anything like what James Malm has in mind? No!

Here's another description of the same beast:

"And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a GREAT red DRAGON, having SEVEN HEADS AND TEN HORNS, and seven crowns upon his heads." Revelation 12:3

Does that sound anything like what James Malm has in mind? No!

Then there is this:

:9 "And the GREAT DRAGON was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him."

Does that sound anything like what James Malm has in mind? No!

James ought to stick with the verses. For example, he still thinks them 10 nations/kings must appear on this side of the millennium, whereas they really will not occur until after Satan exits that 1000 year pit.

Perhaps if James Malm stuck with the scriptures he would realize that one of those heads, the 7th head, is Gog from the land of Magog and it cannot exist until AFTER Satan is loosed from the pit and is allowed to again deceive the entire world. The 6th head was Rome, wasn't it? Revelation 17:10 says:

"And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space."

That "one is" is the one head that existed when John was inspired to write about the beast, and that head was Rome, but until James Malm begins to stick with the scriptures and prefers speculations, then continue to look for those 10 nations/kings and strive to find some "man" to fit in with other speculations...

Due to the advancing age and health problems of Davud Malm this is now highly likely to be a NEW false prophet.

In the field of journalism, there are respected newspapers, and then there is the basic genre created in the National Enquirer model.

Armstrongism itself was always the National Enquirer version of Christianity, and these self appointed splinter leaders have taken it to an even lower level.
Don't know whether the National Lampoon is still extant, but Malm and Thiel closely resemble some of the satirical articles often published throughout its history.

It's so funny! We were looking to every possible world event in a desperate desire to see the end so long prophesied when I was still caught up in the madness back there in the late sixties and early seventies. I even had my own prophetic time chart drawn up based on the madness of spurious Daniel and the stupid nightmares of whoever crafted Revelation.

When My wife got pregnant in 1971, some of my co-workers were horrified that we would allow such a thing to happen just before we'd have to flee in 1972. No flight. That child is now 40 and looking forward to her own old age.

I had begun to see through the garbage of prophecy by that time and basically ignored their horror.

Every passing year, the desperation builds in these kook's minds and wild interpretation after wild interpretation floods forth -- and people continue to hang on that garbage! C'mon already. How dumb can you be to be making the same mistake for 40 or 50 or more years?

It's all fantasy, folks. No god has set the future. We're on our own in this world. Better make whatever you can out of it. The time I (and you) have left is more limited than ever. I'm not going to waste it following after any damn church or know-it-all "minister" drunk on his imagined self-importance and specialness.

Anonymous, I do not have any links to display, but as I suggested James Malm do I wrote the following in that post above: "...James Malm would do himself a favor in identifying the beast by avoiding his speculations. Why not use the Bible, which God inspired? For example, here is a description of the beast:..."

And the beast was then identified using scriptures. Speculations aren't worth much. The closest thing I could do to a link is to "cut and paste" information from a transcript if one is available and that would take some time to research.

Revelation 17 says this:

Revelation 17:7 ¶ And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.
8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
14 ¶ These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.

Based upon these verses the 10 kings, Gog, cannot exist until after Satan comes out of the bottomless pit (Therefore after the 1,000 years expires), but before it goes into perdition.

P.S. to Anonymous:

Regarding Gog, the 7th head of the beast, you may want to look at Ezekiel 38. For example, here are 2 verses:

Ezekiel 38:10 Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:
11 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,

The 1,000 years is supposed to be some kind of a human utopia, mostly because Satan is exiled to some bottomless pit. Verse 11 explains about people dwelling safely...something not true for the past approximately 6,000 years so far, but Satan comes out of the pit to destroy that safety and deceive the entire world.

Satan (I John 3:8 first 8 words) will also be the cause of the "evil thought" of Verse 10, because that thing will be loosed from that pit and go do what it does best...spreads his evil fruits/works all over the world.

FWIIW, the old "Beast Chart" is flawed and not worth looking at.

Also, FWIIW, the 7 heads of Revelation 17:10 are:

7th head = Gog = the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

6th head = Rome = one is: the one that existed in John's day and age

5th head = Greco-Macedonian

4th head = Medeo-Persion

3rd head = Babylonian-Chaldean

2nd head = Would you like to guess?

1st head = Would you like to guess?

John

And if you don't care to guess:

2nd head = Assyria

1st head = Egypt, which held Israel captive for about 400 years...

John
