False Teachings and Division Disrupting Apostle Malm's Group

Apostle Malm recently had a man start a Facebook page for those loyal acolytes who were afraid to publicly write comments on his main blog.  Malm claims he did not participate on it or have anything to do with it's content.

Things went along rather well for the loyal acolytes who had a common interest.  Then, Satan sent his demons to start infiltrating the Facebook site with "tares."

The Apostle writes:

OUR FACEBOOK SITE ANNOUNCEMENT:   A few months ago one person volunteered to set up a private FB site for LIKEMINDED persons. Since that time a number of tares have slipped in who are NOT of LIKEMIND.

It has taken some time to identify most of them and in the interim the matter was dealt with by deleting obvious false doctrinal posts.  When such nonsense posts were deleted the individuals often reacted by personally attacking the moderator.  Eventually the false sheep more or less took over the posting and many of the good people just sat back and observed.

This has come to the point where the FB Group has been dissolved.

Since the dissolution of the FB Groups several spin offs have begun; many now without a moderator and being totally open to false doctrine including such things as sacred names and their false teachings.

At first when the moderator decided to close the group down I objected, but it was his group and I had no part in it [I was not even a member].  Now that I understand what was going on; I do NOT endorse any of these new groups and I fully concur with the dissolution of the FB Group.

If we set aside our disappointment for a moment this in microcosm is exactly what has happened to the Church of God.  Satan has slipped in his tares and they have taken over and led very many of the brethren astray.

Crackpot leaders tend to draw crack pot followers. The  apostle obviously got a dose of his own medicine and he did not like it. Preachy people with strong viewpoints are not allowed.

In usual Church of God fashion, the apostle blames all of this on Satan and that it is a "test" to weed out the tares.

Why then do we give the working of our salvation to others?  Blindly following men and not questioning, checking up. or proving them from the scriptures.

Do we not realize that Satan has a plan to lead the whole congregation astray with his tares, and will sow the most talented and ambitious of men to gain eldership and leadership among us?

Are we not aware of our own history how in almost every generation the tares rise to the top and begin to lead us astray and there is a split?  This is a continual process throughout many generations, ans why?  Is it not because God is TESTING his faithful and teaching us to trust in him alone?

It's your damn fault because you are weak in the faith and are not able to hold up apostle Malm's arms in this mighty ministry!  REPENT!

Tarable...just tarable....

The Internet is the great equilizer of goofiness in religion.
A gift from God to keep men prone to preach on their toes.

I guess Apostle Malm had a field of tares he's sown and now he's upset that some grains of wheat have sprouted.

Just wait until the judgment.

Those who believe in British Israelism probably won't fare very well.

No wait! What?!

Today is the day of judgment and judgment begins at the House of God.

Oh, whew!

These people are not of God, so they'll be OK.

God is ignoring Apostle Malm and all the rest.

Not to worry.

How does James Malm know that "God is TESTING his faithful and..."???

First of all, if they are faithful, then what is the test?

Secondly, it makes God out to be stupid: that He is not aware, alert or awake to what His sheep are doing. Why some stupid TEST?

Thirdly, are not the following verses in John 10 true or not?

John 10:4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.

If the sheep are following Him and they know His voice, then why the TEST?

5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

If God's sheep flee from strangers, then why the TESTING?

8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.

If God's sheep don't hear those thieves and robbers, then why the TESTING?

9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

Well, the sheep follow Christ and know His voice...those sheep "...shall be saved...!!!!!!" So, why the TESTING?

10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Christ came that they, His Father's sheep, have life more abundantly, then why the TESTING?

11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

Christ gave His life for the sheep, so why the TESTING? Is God some "Indian-giver?" Maybe I should use another phrase, because I don't mean to offend anyone by that phrase. If Christ gave His life, are the benefits of that to be disannulled by some TESTING?

Actually, thinking about more of John 10, here are a few more thoughts regarding James Malm's thoughts about TESTING:

14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.

If that verse is true, then why the TEST? TESTING by God makes absolutely no sense. Either God does it or He doesn't: as in:

"For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure." Phil 2:13

Again, why the TESTING? Is God aware, awake and alert to what He is doing or not? Is God stupid?

15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

Christ did lay down His life for each of those sheep. The FAther and Christ both know it, so why the TESTING?

Verse 9 showed that God's sheep would be saved, so why the TESTING?

And what about the rest of the sheep that are not a part of God's Church today?

16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

It appears that, whatever God is doing and however He is doing it, He has started something, or will have started something, in every sheep's life....and He will finish it, so why the TESTING?

I suppose we could ask: "If you, Jame Malm, were Satan, how would you do it?"

TEST, TEST, TEST us and of course we would all sin, fail, and end up in the lake of fire, which has been prepared for him, just some goat, a beast, and his:

"Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:" Matthew 25:41

Now, God will have that PREPARED FOR THE DEVIL AND HIS ANGELS! Do we read about some human beings who failed some TESTING as joining them beasts, them goats?

God, apparently, has something else PREPARED for human beings!

I like the apostle Paul's words here:

"To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them..." 2 Corinthians 5:19

Believe it or not, I think God has something in mind that He is doing, besides that TESTING, if He ever expects to succeed at that reconciling of the world to Himself.

And if God does not do that reconciling, then God would be a liar.

I believe God on that one, but for James Malm and others thinking like him and that TESTING mentality? Time will tell...

I wonder how James and some of the others would react to the wonderful movies and half-hour programs Jefferson Moore has produced. He calls them "The Stranger" I believe they portray a much more realistic view of Father God and Jesus Christ than what we learned from HWA.

It occurs to all of us that even though Armstrongists generally are terrible at science and bad at math, they really have mastered division.
