Dave Pack: Do Real Men Wear Facial Hair?

From The Practicing Heretic Blog

Want to work for Pack? Grow those sideburns and ixnay the goateeay...

At one point during my short stint at RCG HQ, Dave caught me in passing at the office and chastised me for my facial hair, claiming that it might create a weird impression of HQ if multiple mugs showed up sporting the look. (A couple of other staff members at the time must have been equally short on time in the daily morning mirror.) So, being the dutiful employee that I was, I went in the next morning sans goatee, only to be later told by Dave that he'd thought about it and it really was no big deal. Imagine that. As if three guys at HQ were going to start some kind of razor revolution. (I'm sure there's an example of that somewhere in the great book. Probably right across the page from the Sideburns Statute...)

Isn't Jesus supposed to have a beard when he returns?

Oh, well, Jesus isn't perfect enough for Davey Pack, so forget the question.

I wonder what Davey would say about some huge mutton chop sideburns?

Well in Isaiah 50:6 it shows that somebody had a beard at the time he was being beaten...

Oh, and who is that Jewish fella dressed up as a Vulcan? I thought you people were not followers of Jews. Oh, I get it, only if that Jew doesn't claim to represent a diety.

Yeah, after he'd told the guy what to do and the guy had already done it. What a sociopath. Pack just oozes a mixture of arrogance and insanity. Anybody who willingly follows that bully is headed for a life of misery.

Not to pick nits, but proper latin would be "ixnay on the oateegay." It's better this way because it's for sure gonna set off Dave Pack's gaydar when he reads it.

At AC, HWA would ask, "Why would a man want to look like a woman" when discussing the subject of long hair on men. I might ask, "Why would a man want his face to look like a woman by shaving it smoothly?" Paul said that nature itself tells us that men should not have long hair. Doesn't nature also tell us that men should have beards?
So, Dave Pack, "Why do you want to look like your wife? Do you dress like her when you are home, also?"
