Davey Pack Says His "christ" Is Going To Help Him In Unimaginable Ways

Imagine a "christ" that has been so weak and impotent over the centuries that it now has to come in a greater role than it ever had before.  It's like the dude forgot all about those people that were following him and now has to make up for lost time.  Of course Herbert had to lay the groundwork for this"christ" to come back to work in.

Third, many ministers and staff today in the splinters who make the right decision in the days and weeks to come will immediately be of enormous importance to the detailed FULL REORGANIZATION process that will follow in the wake of reunion until the whole “army of God” is marching together doing the Work in unity and rhythm. Yet again, we can anticipate Christ helping in uncounted ways during this process. In fact, a series of verses in the latter part of Zechariah 6 describe His coming greater role in His Church to complete what Mr. Armstrong called “the greatest Work” ever.

sounds like Dave may regret his 35 hard to accomplish musts before you ever set foot in a church or speak again. Now .....

That 35 soul sucking essays to be turned into the Pope before you get anywhere may already be being seen as the mistake to publish they were. A real man would have to think long and hard about joining Dave under that Stazi regime.

First thank you for this site, very therapeutic. I am so disgusted with HWA/DCP's works of the flesh. They both stated that the gospel of the kingdom was suppressed for all the years since Yahshua(JC). Now, seems to me they are calling The Father and Son liars and incapable of keeping the house of Israel and the house of Judah in the works throughout all generations. Psalms 72:5 "They shall fear thee as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations." If only Mr. Pack studied to show himself approved, rightly dividing the Word, with fear and trembling. He would not wast time with childish things to no good end. Reprobate mind is what it is! No, JC is not near RCG, but lucifer will help,if the Father allows it. I am hoping the truth will prevail and DCP will be ashamed. Thank you for free speech.

DCP does not have the mental capacity to feel shame. Even after August 31 is an abysmal failure, he will find no fault of his own. It will be God's fault or the brethrens. Since he publicly admitted he could find no real sin in his life he will never feel shame.

Only a person of respect deserves the title Mr. :-)

Pack is acting like Hitler in the bunker during the last days of WWII.

Barking out orders to invisible non-existent armies. Declaring that there will and are "wonder weapons" that will rescue the Reich , etc.

Will he end up the same as the Fuhrer? I am in grave concern that there will be some type of serious ramifications coming in the next 6 weeks. Will there be suicides because of failure of Pack's predictions, will some Dave Pack groupy attempt bodily harm against a COG leader in order to see Packs damned prophecy come true?

I mean this in all seriousness to members of all COG groups outside of Packs group. Be on high alert in your local security, and be especially wary and on guard from any known visitor from RCG.

Mr. is a twisted form of 'master' even the scriptures do not use nor demand these titles.

Joe, I have had my concerns about this as well. It is probably the most radical example of megalomaniacal meltdown we have witnessed to date. Can you imagine the sheer level of what is fueling it at this intensity?

I know there are varying opinions of Herbert W. Armstrong amongst the readers and posters here. But, let's try this on for size: What if God had had absolutely nothing to do with HWA? In that light, how would we explain these wild fantasies of DCP? The old WCG crashed and burned, as if it had been nothing. That leaves people waiting for 15, 20, 25 years for some powerful events which they were taught would involve their church, and them personally, their mission and destiny if you would, yet virtually nothing ever happened! So many people made so many painful sacrifices!

If there had been more emphasis on living the Christian life in the here and now, and experiencing God's blessings, knowing that it is not given to man to know when Jesus will return, as opposed to living what I call an emergency endtimes lifestyle in perpetuity, then all of this craziness would not be happening. The Armstrong ministry artificially created a sense of extreme urgency in all the members. Tuned them up to hardball crack. It gave them unrequited expectations, asking a lot of them along the way. Living on the brink is normally only a short term possibility in terms of human endurance, yet members have been artificially held in that condition in some cases for 50-60 years.

Eventually, something has got to give. Damage control is more easily facilitated when the problem is isolated to an occasional member, which has largely been the case up until now. When those who fancy themselves as leaders melt down, the potential for damage expands logarithmically. Pack has laid down the gauntlet. He's stated that he's taking over everybody else's stuff. And his 35 points make Rehoboam look relatively benign in terms of basic repulsiveness. Yet, he acts as if he expects people to volunteer, as if responding to a call that apparently only he hears. What if they don't? What is his next step? What are the expectations of his lieutenants? What will they do? Some of the most dangerous people in history have been yes men taking orders.

This man is going to do some damage. It appears that that is unavoidable. The best we can hope for is that it will be isolated and confined as much as possible. That is what I'm going to be praying for.

Good observations Joe and BB. Dave combines clever and intelligent in ways that come out both dangerous and stupid.

Someone made the point that if Dave had already captured people and especially a prime plume of a minister known to most, he would not be able to keep it to himself and it would serve him well to speak up sooner than later to attract others with the example.
To date, I see and hear nothing.

Do any of you here sense any movement towards RCG in all this. I don't. I can see a few transfers just because some like to be associated with drama and inovative stupidity but that is not a group think tendency. If anything, the other groups will solidify a bit more and hold fast just to prove him wrong and foolish.

Since leaving WCG I have attended with several groups including RCG. I left RCG over 9 years ago and am in contact with COG members all over the USA. No one that I know of is going with RCG. Most I know have already been there or will avoid RCG like the plague. I am so glad to see Pack take these scriptures out of context like this. When his prophesies don't come to pass I am praying that many will leave RCG.

This may answered prayers for those who have wanted to see the demise of the Cult of Herbert Armstrong.

This is just another nail in the coffin of their credibility (hey, its a BIGM nail this time!).

well said BB....those that were following the man were badly damaged....and DCP is recruiting man followers for sure.

HWA got some things right, and a lot of things wrong.

Those focused on God keep the men in perspective. HWA is just a sidebar to us.

Yes...imagine. Yet, that's what all Christians believe. Jesus, who has been exalted to the right hand of God to sit on his father David's heavenly throne, because where the King is that's where his throne is, cannot even control his followers.

After 2,000 years of Christians hating each other, killing each other, persecuting each other...maybe someone should ask: "where was Jesus during all that time?"

It would seem that Jesus doesn't give a damn about his followers until he comes back to destroy most of the population of the world. OR, maybe Jesus is dead or never existed except in writings on parchment.

Grasp this Pack, Christ is not working with you or in you!

God above needs to knock you off your horse and blind you a couple days, so that you can come to your senses.

John 5:22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
John 5:23 That all [men] should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.
