Living Church of God Death and Destruction Video Short Showcase The Same Old Bullshit

The sickness that is Armstrongism still cannot get its message across even when they try to be technologically relevant.  They still look like complete idiots.
They cant talk about Jesus, but still love the death and destruction of humanity.

I am soooooooooooo glad I never saw videos like that while I was deceived by LCG. I actually believed that was going to happen soon.

It's interesting the video cites Micah 7:7, which says:

"Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me."

For the Living group, like virtually all of the xcogs, it's all about me, me, me, ME, ME,I, I, I, memememememememe....me...self!

Well, maybe God will eventually hear from everybody, because I've also, unlike these xcogs, read and believe the following is to be a done-deal someday...and it will be a great day when it becomes reality for everyone:

"To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, NOT imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation." 2 Corinthians 5:19

God is more concerned than about all of the "me" thinkers, but the xcogers don't like to read a verse like that one above.

If God does not extend His love and reconciliation to all of the world, then by that verse alone He would be a liar.

We'll see what happens as time will tell...

Im cool with Meredith using cartoons. However, I suggest that they do it with "Bugs Bunny" style, and type of humor.

Perhaps Meredith members can be portrayed as "Wiley Coyote" type of characters,... always falling off the cliff!

John, what will happen is more of the same old same old that's been happening for two thousand years. We're on our own here. That returning Jesus and the promised kingdom is an illusion just like the illusions of islam, hinduism and the multitude of other illusory fantasies humans have clung to for millenia.

Build your own life. Forget what holy books and their mad salesmen tell you. It's all a pipe dream without even the pleasure of the nicotine.

Hahahahahaha, that video is fucking hilarious. Somewhere between comical and twisted, which I guess makes it just plain inane. I've never seen doom-and-gloom communicated so succinctly.

There is no way this cartoon is going to resonate with consumers of that medium.

It's a good thing the COGs hold contempt for disciplined marketing & advertising, otherwise their membership numbers might actually begin to increase.

This sort of thing happens when group leadership gets so focused on its own eschatology that they can't understand how to relate to people.

The video is not only irrelevant but it's an inside joke only for those "in the know".

No normal people today are going to relate a cartoon like this with worldwide destruction, devastation and doom.

It might make for an effective ad for World War Z with a few added features though.

Needs zombies.

The Christian Way to Call Someone a Bastard

A guy was getting ready to tee off on the first hole when a second golfer approached and asked if he could join him.

The first guy said that he usually played alone, but agreed to the twosome. They were even after the first few holes.

The second guy said, "We're about evenly matched, how about playing for five bucks a hole?"

The first guy said that he wasn't much for betting, but agreed to the terms.

The second guy won the remaining sixteen holes with ease.

As they were walking off number eighteen, the second guy was busy counting his $80.00 and confessed that he was the pro at a neighboring course and liked to pick on suckers.

The first fellow revealed that he was the parish priest.

The pro was flustered and apologetic, offering to return the money.

The priest said, "You won fair and square and I was foolish to bet with you. You keep your winnings."

The pro said, "Is there anything I can do to make it up to you?"

The priest said, "Well, you could come to Mass on Sunday and make a donation...
and, if you want to bring your mother and father along, I'll marry them.”

That stupid animated video doesn't even conform doctrinally to what WCG used to teach about the Great Tribulation, the Day of the Lord, and the return of Christ.

It's either pabulum, or it was released by people who no longer believe what WCG used to believe.

Does anybody know which it is? Does LCG simply not care what it teaches, or is it really teaching a scenario like in that ridiculous animated video? Dave Pack, despite all his troubles, could have a field day tearing that video to shreds as proof of LCG's worthlessness.
