David C Pack: My 'god' Is Going To "...take the splinter assets, crush their income, dismantle their governments, destroy all their production and disperse their people—everyone."

The definition of “desolate” from Merriam Webster’s is: “Devoid of inhabitants and visitors…showing the effects of abandonment and neglect, dilapidated, barren, lifeless, devoid of warmth, comfort or hope.” Webster’s definition of “waste” is: “a barren region, uncultivated, a broad and empty expanse.” The context of the categories described in Haggai 1:11 reveal that God is going to destroy everything in the splinters. Nothing and no one will be left. He is going to take the splinter assets, crush their income, dismantle their governments, destroy all their production and disperse their people—everyone. Think “barren” and “devoid of inhabitants and visitors.” God’s choice of word means the splinter “houses” will be uninhabited. And He will make it clear to the remnant where they should go.

Apparently the splinter group leaders will not learn their lessons and will make one final attempt to thwart Dave in his great reunification. The Bible foretells this, at least in Dave's delusional mind.

Remember that the plagues on Egypt did not cause Pharaoh to let ancient Israel go. God hardened Pharaoh and deliberately made sure that He could bring the plagues in sequence to work out His divine purpose. We may expect some kind of non-literal parallel to occur today. And no one knows exactly how long such “plagues” will last, but certain clues indicate they will not be long, perhaps a few months as they did when Israel left Egypt.

This is actually could be taken as a veiled threat. You have to wonder if Dave intends for him and his members to take an activist or passive role in making this happen. It would really be better to keep one's mouth shut about this sort of thing. No common sense whatever!

Sounds to me an exact description of what happened to WCG -- not that this statement had anything to do with it.

This man has gone to the extreme! He is sick and these threats should be given to the authorities. He is demon possessed, just like satan, using scripture to make others fall for his lies.

Egypt was going to be "desolate" in 500 and something BCE too and Damascus was going to be a "ruinous heap". So much for prophecy...

What is so bizarre about this is that it's a distorted type of fractal of the original HWA gospel, similar largely in that it preaches fear and duress-based salvation, a very bad and wrong premise.

Years ago, there were official reports and a psych evaluation on the internet about an ACOG leader (whom we have code-named "Electrolux"), because in a training exercise, he had deliberately turned and fired on his own troops!

Dave Pack has taken all of the destruction HWA focussed on modern Israel as the hook to his gospel, and has refocussed it on to his own troops, using it as a hook against groups of members whose beliefs are 99% similar to his own. Probably, in many cases, the only differences are that they don't accept Dave as an apostle, they don't attend his church, and they don't pay tithes to him. They say you can't prove a negative, but I believe his actions, approach, and attitude have proven who the ACOG members should NOT follow.

Actually this is a retro "prophecy" because those things have already happened. Pack is a retro prophet!

Why does so much in these Armstrongism groups (the original and the off-shoots) keep reminding me so much of Hitler and the Nazis?
Or Charles Manson and his "family?" Absent most of the killing and physical violence, of course, which keeps them just on this side of the law.

Kind of punches the whole "free will" thing right in the throat there, doesn't it? Dick move, God.
