James Malm: Funerals and Memorials Are Now Sinful???

Did you know that if you are not text of kin and are invited to a funeral or memorial it is  because the service was only being down to impress you and it is therefore a sin.

The more James Malm writes the stupider he gets.  The mere fact he has any followers is appalling, The fact that these acolytes allow themselves to be debased by such silliness is what is really disgusting.  Not one thing they are doing impresses God.

21:1 And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto the priests the sons of Aaron, and say unto them, There shall none be defiled for the dead among his people: 21:2 But for his kin, that is near unto him, that is, for his mother, and for his father, and for his son, and for his daughter, and for his brother. 21:3 And for his sister a virgin, that is nigh unto him, which hath had no husband; for her may he be defiled.   21:4 But he shall not defile himself, being a chief man among his people, to profane himself.

The called out must not mourn for the dead by afflicting themselves physically, so that they abase themselves before the public.  Public asceticism [self abuse] is not humility before God, it is a fraud designed to make people think that such men are godly, when they actually reject God’s ways and do this to impress the spiritually ignorant lead men after their own ways.

Public shows of mourning and humility for those not of near kin, are mostly designed to impress and deceive the public.  In the COG Groups there are many who pay lip service to HWA to gain a personal following based on that deception.   We are to follow the whole word of God and not to follow HWA or any such man; nor are we to follow men who would lead us away from God to follow any such men.

In a way, I think all of us might understand if Malm's teachings were patterned after what is described at
www.jewfaq.org/m/death.htm.

But, as usual, he's gone way beyond and into the twilight zone.

WTF is he talking about? This makes me think that Malm is actually one of those who does not share normal feeling or have emotions like most people. You know, kind of like Dexter.

When a family loses a loved one and holds a memorial service for all who may have known the deceased, impressing or deceiving is going to be last thing on the mind of any normal person. In fact, at no time are they likely to be more down-to-earth and honest. The fact that he would think duplicity is on anyone's mind at a time like that speaks volumes.

We all know there's something wrong with Malm. Maybe today he's unwittingly telling us what it is.
