A Brief Photo Essay on the Wildworld Church of God

And during the few moments that we have left
We wanna talk right down to Earth in a language that everybody here can easily understand

Look in my eyes, what do you see?
The cult of personality
I know your anger, I know your dreams
I've been everything you want to be
I'm the cult of personality
Like Mussolini and Kennedy
I'm the cult of personality
The cult of personality
The cult of personality

Neon lights, a Nobel prize
Than the mirror speaks, the reflection lies
You won't have to follow me
Only you can set me free

I sell the things you need to be
I'm the smiling face on your tv
I'm the cult of personality
I exploit you, still you love me
I tell you one and one makes three
I'm the cult of personality
Like Joseph Stalin and Gandhi
I'm the cult of personality
The cult of personality
The cult of personality

Neon lights, a Nobel prize
When a leader speaks, that leader dies
You won't have to follow me
Only you can set you free (?)

You gave me fortune
You gave me fame
You gave me power in your god's name
I'm every person you need to be
I'm the cult of personality (I'm the cult of, I'm the cult of)
I'm the cult of, I'm the cult of, I'm the cult of, I'm the cult of (I'm the cult of)
I'm the cult of, I'm the cult of, I'm the cult of, I'm the cult of personality (I'm the cult of)
Ask not what your country can do for you

The only thing we have to fear is fear itself

Roderick C. Meredith starts Global Church of God

...but moves on to start the Living Church of God taking the founder of the Plain Truth Newstand Program, David C Pack with him.

David C Pack is fired from Living Church of God/Or Global.. I forget and starts the Deplored Church of God

And over the the years convinces the masses he is The Watcher, The Apostle and Joshua the High Priest as spoken of by the Prophet Haggai and Zechasomebody

Mussolini's classmate and wife break from United Church of God to declare themselves the Two Witnesses of Revelation

But gets off track for a time, times and half a time copying the lifestyle and expenditures of the Armstrongs, Tkaches, Flurrys and Packs

In the Spring of 2013 Apostle Pack doesn't set a date of August 31, 2013 for the Unification of all the splinters under his leadership and doesn't give 24 rock solid reasons why this simply has to be true.

The Apostle Pack disappears from the scene in October of 2013 whileTwo of the Sixteen Agreers on the Board of Deplored seek a way to prevent such future mistakes in the "timing" of the prophecy and not the content.  The prophecy is definately "ON" and  Apostle Pack declares God's Word as "clear as crystal" on this muddied topic

Meanwhile, large portions are of Ambassador College are demolished to be replaced by Condos

But not to worry...Dave Pack and Gerald Flurry....

...are raising up the past from the ruins and the ashes after having found the old blueprints

Pastor General Gerald Flurry faints during a sermon in 2014

Longtime confidant of the Armstrongs, David Hulme experiences loyalty problems in his own version of truth in 2014 and dis fellowships everyone but himself

The beat goes on....

Well, well done Dennis! I enjoyed that, and you know, it goes to show you that the politicians are the same as the religious sluggards. They are human and exhibit the same behavior of pride, lust and greed.

As a Christian we are called to have but one God, and only one Saviour, Jesus Christ.

We are not to be wide eyed "Groupies". We are told plainly by Paul in the Bible (1Cor. 3:3-5)

...for you are still fleshly. For since there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not fleshly, and are you not walking like mere men? For when one says, "I am of Paul," and another, "I am of Apollos," are you not mere men? What then is Apollos? And what is Paul?

Yet here we are clamoring for Icons and "being fleshly and mere men".

Drop the hero worship. Become a champion of yourself. See and understand things for yourself from the scriptures. Do not be a cuckold fool, looking to glorify and honor a mere man, who has no saving power, or exclusive access to God.

Unfortunately, all human empires , corporate, secular and religious are built on a pile of "HUMAN FUEL".

Our calling is not to be Human Fuel and narcissistic supply to ego maniacs and sociopaths. We are not to live vicarious lives, getting satisfaction and fulfillment from living other peoples dreams, whether they be a religious icon, rock star, movie start, athlete or even the Denver Broncos.

Start living your own life!

For the Christian , this is how to manifest the Holy Spirit in your life in all areas. Health, family, relationships, community service, personal evangelism. The "DNA" of God must be found within you. If you are dependent upon the strength of some human leader, or outward motivation from such a leader , or cowtowing to a man, and your only function is to be fuel for some other person's dreams and schemes, I would implore you to ask of yourself if you indeed carry the DNA of God.

Have personal dreams and picture your own role in serving God through personal development and service. You do matter, and in the end, the only fruit of God is YOU! It is not buildings, magazines, titles or schemes.

Never live someone else's dreams. Only you can live your life. Do so as a slave only to Jesus Christ, who is the only one that we owe anything to. God demands a profit from each of us as individuals. Fellowship with people is a good thing, but "Membership Cards" from any organization will never give you any credit with God.

"Wild World Church of God" certainly applied, but I think the term...

"Weird World Church of God"

...has equal if not greater merit.

Where's Chairman Malm? Sure, his worshipers you could number on your fingers and toes, but still impressive considering he's a guy with a personality cult who doesn't even a personality! He denigrates HWA out of one side of his mouth, but for all that, must spend several hours each day regurgitating HWA out of the other. His personality cult is still entirely dependent upon HWAs personality. I could see him "coming out of the world" by starting his own third world country, if only he could find someone willing to do all the legwork to make it happen for him.

In the southwest, if you use the term essay, most people will think you are spelling it esé. And, actually, now that we mention that, I am forced to compliment our minority former brothers and sisters for not getting involved in the starting of splinter groups. Why would they, though, start a splinter to glorify a bunch of people gloating over being Israelites? You might say they've been given natural P.O.A! (Protection over Armstrongism)

This article is nothing but biased Judeo-American hate propaganda. Where's your picture of the Obama worshippers?

Judeo-American? What the heck is that, 3:42? Care to define it, and to show us how you feel it influenced Dennis's post? Didn't think so. You've never been more than a cowardly drive-by poster. Many of us disagree with the so-called "change" agenda initiated by our president.

"there is a body of believers who have the Holy Spirit. If they do not, then all of this is just a silly game."

People who make such statements usually refer to a "body of believers" who have pretty much reached the same theological conclusions as they have- even to the extent of just how individuals define their Christian deities(One God, two Gods or three Gods). For instance, most Trinitarian folk will see those with Armstrongist deity-beliefs as being less informed by the HS than they are.

And heck, that's just the tip of the iceberg.
For people who consider themselves "spirit-infused" or "spirit-filled", there are often specific qualifications they judge others with, in order for them to believe that the others who claim to be Christian or have the HS are actually what they claim to be.
IOW, some impose minimum requirements when judging whether others are Christian or have the HS.

Truth is, it's usual for different people who claim to be led by the HS to have reached wildly differing theological conclusions....
(God is a male, god is female....Jesus is God, Jesus is NOT God...God has made pagan rituals Holy, God has NOT made pagan rituals Holy...Jesus was the OT God, Jesus was NOT the OT God...The HS is a person, the HS is NOT a person...God likes Catholicism and it's Popes, God hates Catholicism and it's Popes...The Bible is "The Word of God", The Bible is not "The Word of God"...[and the list can go on and on])

I'm sure the fact that there are around 41,000 different Christian denominations makes things a bit more difficult for many Christians who'd like to ascertain just who are members of the "Christian body of believers", but thankfully for most of those who have left HWA's church, there's only a tiny slice of that pie to sift through...or, is it?

If you want to define the 'Fruits of the Holy Spirit' as "not being wide eyed groupies", and "seeing and understand things for yourself", and "living your own life", and not "living vicarious lives", and doing your best to "maintain health, family, relationships, and contributing to community service", then you will have to look at the larger pie of humanity which also includes people of various non-Christian religions- as well as many atheists and agnostics- and include them in your definition of who "has the Holy Spirit"!

PS: No picking on Joe intended. He's for sure stated what's in other apologetic ramblings, so I used a few examples from what he's written here.

My favorite is Pastor General Gerald Flurry fainting.

It's totally the hippest and says so much from the beginning to end of what's he's about.
