Years ago the Worldwide Church of God made the claim that the printing press had been invented so that Herbert Armstrong could print the "gospel" message for all the world to see. Then when Herbert Armstrong got restless after the death of his wife and needed to fly around the world, the church claimed that jet planes had been invented so that he could travel to all the nations on earth to deliver the "gospel", or in COG speak, "A Strong Hand From Someplace." Then, computers came on the scene and the church bought one of the largest IBM mainframes ever built. Computers too, were created for the express use of the Church of God. Remember that God had to invent the computer in order to keep track of members tithing amounts.
Now we transition to the 21st century and Bob Thiel, god's greatest gift to humanity and the Mayans, says that smart phones have been invented to get the final message out to all of Africa and the rest of the world.
A Door That is in the Process of Opening Even Further
Although at this time, relatively few in Kenya and Tanzania have direct access to the internet without going to an internet café (which few can afford), I noticed that nearly all had cellular telephones.
Once “smart phones” become popular in Kenya (I had not noticed any while there), we should be able to reach many, many more than we have been able to over the internet. Our plans for the internet and congregations should be ready by the time many of those in East Africa will have additional abilities to access them. This “door” is opened for Philadelphians (Revelation 3:7-8) to proclaim the gospel (cf. Acts 14:28, 1 Corinthians 16:9; 2 Corinthians 2:12) of the kingdom (Matthew 24:14) is being opened more for us and we expect to go through it to reach even more. If something UNWANTED were to pop up on my cell phone, I'd DELETE it. IMMEDIATELY. Bob's message will be unwanted content, and deleted immediately, because it will be incomprehensible to most, just more garbage to we who escaped from Herbert and all the little Herberts.
Just exactly how is he going to use those phones and actually reach people?
Perhaps Bob could practice texting his neighbors on their already existent phones, with his version of the Gospel and just who he thinks he is. If it goes well...then go to all the world.
Oh...I forgot...a Prophet has no honor in his own country. Nevermind...
There's some question that Thiel could really understand his smart phone since it's way smarter than he is.

Im afraid that in the COG history, there were some ministers who thought that VIAGARA was invented to "help them spread their message".
I don't have a smart phone, because I'm not real big on unitizing or single-sourcing all of my electronic needs. But if I did, and some inarticulate, arm-flailing idiot suddenly appeared on my screen, accompanied by various types of wind noises, and telling me about British Israelism, he'd be gone faster than a telemarketer!

But, Bob, you aren't even an apostle? What do you need an open door for? You didn't need it when you were part of WCG, and the living group (and global group if you were part of that), so why not? Again, you're not even an apostle; Paul was (e.g. Eph 1:1 "Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God...").
Bob, you refer to some door in Revelation 3:7-8 and strive to apply it to yourSELF and this present evil world but, Bob, what is that door in Rev 3? Do you seriously think it applies to you?
For example, when is a door not a door? You may have heard that question before, and perhaps you have heard the typical answer: when it is ajar.
But, Bob, there is another possible answer to that question: When is door not a door? It has nothing to do with your gospel, wcg's gospel, living's gospel...united's gospel...etc.

Christ our Passover!!! That's in season at this time.
Why did the ancient Israelites on their first Passover put blood on the doorposts and at the top of the door..............and not some window?
That door was a shadow of a future reality: Christ, who would also be covered with blood.
Bob, I seriously doubt that God is using you for anything at this time. When He wants to get the word around He'll use two witnesses. He even has planned an angel to spread the word after them two witnesses are murdered.
I believe any prayer from me to ask God to "more fully open" some door for yourSELF would be a prayer spoken in vain. There is a reason we do pray "Thy will be done" and not "May Bob Thiel's will be done."
When God wants something done, He'll get it done:
"Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it." I Thess 5:24
He will finish/complete what He starts/begins:
"Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:" Phil 1:6
Bob Thiel, what are you going to do when the day comes and it sinks in that God was working elsewhere? What "door" will you go through, then????
