"Have you ever seen all the little kooks running wild all over the COG scene today?"

A reader calls all of us here "yellow."

“Like i said before, the color I see is yellow all over this site.”

The Urban Dictionary has this definition for "yellow bellied":

1. adj. meaning "cowardly, wuss-like"
2. A slightly archaic emphasizer for an insult, right up there with "godforsaken" and variations of the word "freakin' "
Used to call someone a coward in ADDITION to another insult.
Jim: That Fred is a jerk!

Bob: He doesn't deserve to be a jerk. He's a yellow-bellied bastard!

A reader here responded with this:

I agree with you that one should not forsake God or the Bible or the laws of God.

However, the situation on the church scene these days is pretty bad. After all, according to HWA's church eras theory, we are now in the Laodicean era, the era that needs to, and fully deserves to, go into a Great Tribulation.

Have you ever seen anyone like Gerald Flurry, who uses HWA's name and photograph all the time to attract followers while always perverting in the most satanic way the major things that HWA had taught? If you really want to see yellow-bellied cowards, look at the people in the PCG, afraid that a little old drunken runt will kick them out and cut off all contact between them and their fake PCG friends and even their own crazy PCG family members. It was pointed out years ago that the PCG turns men into cowards. One could ask great philosophical questions like, Just how many demons can you fit into a little runt? The answer: Too many.

Have you ever seen anyone like David Pack, who uses HWA's name all the time to justify his reign of terror and plunder? If you really want to see yellow-bellied cowards, look at the poor, deceived, robbed, plundered, and emasculated victims of raging Dave Pack of lies. Can you even read fast enough to keep up with his major doctrinal changes as he deletes his old booklets so he can come up with totally different ideas? Have you ever gone looking for precision of doctrine but just found even more craziness than usual? If you have not done this yet, and think you want to, be sure to check out David Pack.

Have you ever seen anyone like Ronald Weinland, who writes works of fiction to get people's money? If you really want to see yellow-bellied cowards, look at those people who are mentally and physically trapped in this fantasy world and actually fear mere fiction books written by a mere writer of fiction like Ronald the clown. Imagine fearing someone who is currently in prison for his tax evasion, when sharing some of the money with “good” accountants and “good” lawyers could have enabled him to carry on his plundering without going to jail.

Have you ever seen all the little kooks running wild all over the COG scene today? If you really want to see yellow-bellied cowards, look at anyone who is stupid enough to follow the numerous kooks like Bob Thiel, or James Malm, or Eric King, or any of the other little nobodies out there who make up whatever they want to off the top of their head and expect others to believe it and support it, even though they always contradict what HWA had taught, and often do not even attempt to hide their disagreement.

Did someone mention Dave Pack? Now the RCG has finally arrived- Google Maps has updated the satellite imagery in beautiful Wadsworth, Ohio to
include a breathtaking view of the glorious headquarters campus!

As I've said before, the high tension wires that span the magnificent RGG campus are simply electrifying... Now for all the world to see!

in Jesus' own Words:

"But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

And shall cut him asunder, AND APPOINT HIM HIS PORTION WITH THE HYPOCRITES: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth." Matthew 24:48-51

Christ Foresaw the evil that they who claim to be His Servants would do to their fellows: clearly He is Speaking of they who claim to be His Servants...

Gerald Flurry calls himself many great things including “That Prophet” even though he has to subscribe to Stratfor to try to guess the future without success.

David Pack calls himself “Joshua the High Priest” and “Elijah the Prophet” even though his August 31, 2013 prophetic guess totally failed.

Ronald Weinland calls himself one of the “Two Witnesses” of Revelation and as a writer of fiction gets to make up stuff, but he cannot make it reality, and all his prophetic guesses have always totally failed.

Bob Thiel calls himself a prophet because he studied Mayan, Kenyan, Catholic and other pagan prophecies, even though that is not how any true biblical prophet ever came to be.

Eric King gets his prophetic ideas from watching too many science fiction shows on television even though it affects his ability to tell fantasy from reality.

Thousands of people have had their time, energy and money worse than wasted by following and supporting these and other false prophets. Imagine if all that time, energy and money that was worse than wasted supporting all those falsehoods had been directed into a worthwhile cause, such as supporting the truth.

Ronco(and your little spiral slicer, too),

[forgive me, Dorothy and Toto]

Better that your car is in the parking lot of the Giant Eagle there because you maybe needed milk or they had a sale on strawberries or something, than having it in the black hole parking lot of Davey 'Short Shorts' Pack's compound!

What is not cowardly is thinking beyond the accepted set of rules set forth in the armstrongist milleu.

Unfortunately, many people adopt rules and beliefs and cling to them as if clinging to a life preserver and call it "faith" as if that's a virtue, and believe they are righteous and courageous for doing so.

Thankfully, some people know better and it spreads among people to whom the ideas resulting from a free thought process resonate.

Predictably, there are those (inside their self-seemingly wonderful box) who get their panties in a twist when seeing others thinking outside of their particular box.
Because of their extreme commitment to the box they're in, they sometimes have a fit and lash out at those who seem comfortable (and even dare to talk of things existing) outside of the self-imposed and tenuous borders of their box.

To those who have understandable trepidation-
Even HWA said, "Prove all things!" (but he cleverly inserted the caveat that your conclusion must agree with him or you'd burn in the 'Lake of Fire').
Fire, schmire.

Any creator god worth his salt would surely want a person to use the mind that he'd given.

Is the notion that "My beliefs are not the be-all and end-all, so I'll change them as I learn new things." just a naughty thought from Satan?

I think not. Using one's own mind in a progressive way is a positive thing. (It's not like using your mind to think up crimes.)
It's true, though, that religions often denigrate people's using their minds.
There are SO many examples, but one which comes to mind is hardcore brainwashed Scientologists yelling at their detractors, "WHAT ARE YOUR CRIMES?"

These people who aspire to be great preachers of Armstrongism would probably make much better sense if their pronouncements were an outgrowth of visits to their local medical marijuana facility. Clearly, the ones we hear about here are smoking the wrong Herb!
