Rod Meredith's Alternate Reality: Rails against interracial marriage and says it's OK to Discriminate

I received this today concerning a recent sermon Meredith gave.  This is the same hate mongering malarkey that he has been spouting for decades.  Its blacks vs whites, it's his hatred of interracial marriage, it's his belief that it is OK too discriminate against other races...mainly blacks and of course his old standby...the gays.

I was just wondering if you've heard about Meredith's latest "sermon" titled, "Satan's Alternate Universe"? When I listened to it, I really couldn't believe my ears. It should have been titled, "Meredith's Alternate Reality" because it was so Anti-Christ and so anti-love. Basically, the main thing he talks about it how Satan is using interracial marriage as a tool to destroy, and then follows it with how even Christ was discriminatory so it's ok discriminate, especially when it comes to healing people. !!!!! He mainly launches in at about 30:00 into his drivel. Then, he goes on to talk about homosexuality, because, you know, they go hand-in-hand ( he rarely ever brings up race without bringing up homosexuality).......as well as abortion and being politically incorrect.

My suggestion to Rod's children or grand kids is that perhaps they could assist in his further education by marrying some of the people he seems to believe are "less than". No pain, no gain as the saying goes.

It is surprising that instead of having the COGaWA visit him in Charlotte, he isn't reaching out to Westboro Baptist.

WTF, that man is still hung up on interracial marriage?

The ban on interracial marriage imposed on the entire church was bad enough, but hopefully you were not unlucky enough to be of a "minority race" at Ambassador College.
Out of the not-extremely-huge student body, due to stupid race restrictions from on-high, if you were black you had less than a dozen possible dating options, if you were lucky.
And if you were from any Asian country, it was worse, you had only maybe 3 or 4, depending on the year.
God help you if you were gay. Needless to mention your options were a big fat zero.

My wife and I adopted two children from S Korea. I imagine RCM doesn't approve of this either.

Say what you will -- for destruction, few things rival a narcissistic lying false prophet.

what amazes me is how carnal minded some of these ministers are, and that they totally miss the spiritual aspect of biblical Scripture: e.g., when i was growing up the wwcg used to teach that Genesis 6:9 meant that Noah ancestry was all white, when as an adult it became obvious to me that the Scripture was referring to the fact that Noah came from a long line of those whom had been endowed with the Holy Spirit...

now, dr. meredith implies Christ discriminated; i havent listened to the excerpt, but i can guess he is referring to the sidonian woman who wanted her child healed: firstly, Christ already knew the outcome, and that He would heal the child; i believe He Said what He said to her for two reasons: to demonstrate the faith of the gentiles vs that of the jews, and secondly, given the sidonian (and canaanite's in general) history of negative relations with the children of israel, and the fact that before the time of jacob, the canaanites worshipped the same God that jacob would, but ultimately corrupted themselves, Christ was showing the irony of her seeking that same God of that canaanite High Priest Melchizedek...

once a lcg minister made fun of me because my white wife left me to go back to europe...

it is clear that their concern about interracial marriage is not based upon practicality, but, especially given the nature of this country, is more rooted in jealousy and resentment...

Under the BI concept then...

Wouldn't a supposed "British Israelite" marrying lets say, a Greek, or a German, or an Italian be regarded as an "interracial marriage"??

Lots extra Biblical dilemmas , conundrums, problems and exceptions to found on RCMs position. Foremost of which is that Moses had a BLACK WIFE!

Yes Connie,

In past discussion I also used the Moses example. AC was the ultimate refutal of said marriage policy. Irish marrying French etc etc.
I particularly liked to tickle American BI proponents with the Joseph marrying the Egyptian priest daughter. Oh those were the days.

Comment was made that Rod Meredith gave "...the same hate mongering malarkey that he has been spouting for decades. Its blacks vs whites, it's his hatred of interracial marriage, it's his belief that it is OK too discriminate against other races..."

Here's a message for Rod: we are all part of one human family. Perhaps Satan has inspired all of the racism that exists today but, in a sense, there is NOT that great of a difference between human beings to justify such a word as "race." We are all part of the human family.

And, color of skin aside, isn't all blood red? Well, sometimes it is bluish...

This ban and denigration against interracial marriage is an echo of the slavery that was present within the United States from the early 17th Century until 1865.

To justify enslaving African Americans the slavers accused them of being somehow "inferior" and somehow "unworthy" of being treated as equals.

This attempt to keep African Americans trodden underfoot was expressed in many different ways. Forbidding them from marrying whites was one aspect of this system of racial discrimination.

Although slavery has since been abolished and many things have changed certain attitudes created by forcing African Americans to be enslaved are with us still. Including this hostility to interracial marriage.

It is shameful that Meredith seems to be unable to see how immoral it is to ban or denigrate interracial marriage. He needs to wake up and realize where this hostility of his comes from. It is racism.

Rod Meredith is an evil, hate filled man. All who tithe to him are accessories to his crimes against humanity and abusive, tyrannical reign.

Well you know, according to Rod, mixed marriages produce "blobs" for offspring. Do we really want a bunch of blobs running around in God's one and only true church???

What percentage of our DNA do we share? I think it is over 96%. So, for one race to claim to be superior to another is ludicrous.
