Why Does The Church of God Ignore Amos, Who Is In Our Midst?

The one thing that Armstrongism was able to do rather efficiently was give space for a myriad of men (and a couple of women) room to take on Old Testament personalities.  Over the decades we have seen men declare themselves Abraham, David, Joshua, Elijah, Habakkuk, and the Two Witnesses. Not once did they ever try to emulate Jesus Christ.

Prophets and sages galore have run off at the mouth over the decades with one failed prophecy after another. From Herbert Armstrong to Gerald Waterhouse; Rod Meredith to Dave Pack; Gerald Flurry to Richard Ames, very single thing these men have predicted has failed to come to pass.  One lie after another.

Now we are blessed with Amos in our midst.  Though this false prophet doesn't come out and directly say he is Amos, he implies it.  This lying false prophet has a unique way of manipulating his readers into believing he is talk about himself even though he never directly claims he is.  This lying false prophet is Bob Thiel, or Amos if you want to call him that.

The doubly cursed agent of deception writes:
Amos was a prophet of God, but will you pay attention to the message?
Here is some information about him from Wikipedia
Amos, an older contemporary of Hosea and Isaiah,[1] was active c. 750 BC during the reign of Jeroboam II,[1] (786–746 BC) making the Book of Amos the first biblical prophetic book written. Amos lived in the kingdom of Judah but preached in the northern kingdom of Israel. (Book of Amos. viewed 02/22/2014)

Before becoming a prophet, Amos was a sheep herder and a sycamore fig farmer. Amos’ prior professions and his claim “I am not a prophet nor a son of a prophet” (7:14) indicate that Amos was not from the school of prophets, which Amos claims makes him a true prophet (7:14). His prophetic career began in 750 BCE out of the town of Tekoa, in Judah, south of Jerusalem. (Amos the Prophet, viewed 02/22/2014)

It is interesting that he had to tell people that one becomes a true prophet in a manner that most did not expect. The Apostle Paul attempted to defend his apostleship that type of way (2 Corinthians 11:5, 22-29)–and that was to people who were supposedly in the Church of God.
So just who is the wanna-be Amos being talked about here?  Who is the only true prophet today that the people do not expect to be?  What group of people ignore this modern day Amos?  Who ridicule and revile him? Its the brethren's fault, as usual. Church of God members and ex-members.

No one expected Bob Thiel to be "double blessed."  No one expected him to stab Rod Meredith in the back, but he did.  Bob Thiel is the man of the unexpected.

Bob Amos Thiel continues:

One of the messages that Amos proclaimed is that the time would come when people would not be able to find the words of God:
11 “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord God,
“That I will send a famine on the land,
Not a famine of bread,
Nor a thirst for water,
But of hearing the words of the Lord.
12 They shall wander from sea to sea,
And from north to east;
They shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the Lord,
But shall not find it. (Amos 8:11-12)

I believe that the above warning is a reference to a coming internet censorship. And in the Continuing Church of God, we have already experienced some of this (see Letter to the Brethren: January 14, 2016).
What so-called "persecution" has the lying prophet received?  YouTube took down one of his malignant videos.  Because of that extreme persecution has hit the Church of God.  The end is truly here!  Brethren wake up!!!!!

Bob Amos Thiel then finishes with this:

Amos is giving a warning to those called by Jacob’s name (which was also Israel), whom according to Jacob himself, would seem to be a reference to the descendants of Ephraim and Manasseh (Genesis 48:16). In modern times, this would be the Anglo-Saxon nations such as Canada, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand, and also the United States of America. The reference to trusting Mt. Samaria in Amos 6:1 could be a reference to trusting the USA to defend in the end. That will not end well for the USA or its allies of the Anglo-Saxon nations.
Of course, few in those nations believe that they will be taken over and have such calamity. But that will come to pass. Most would not listen to Amos then, and most, sadly, will not listen to Amos now.
Amos Thiel is the ONLY true doubly blessed prophet on the earth today.  His is the ONLY Church of God doing anything of significance, even though an infinitesimal percentage of the world's population has ever heard of the deceiver.   A few hundred in the poor regions of Africa and a few hundred white Americans.

Oh but I keep forgetting,  a prophet is always without honor in his own country.

"Let's see. One of the two witnesses? Nah, that's been done to death. Elijah? Taken. Elisha? Taken. Moses? Taken. Malachi? Taken. Joshua the high priest? Taken."

"Oh, but look, there's still a lot of names that nobody has registered to be modern-day incarnations of. Oh, now, just to figure out which one to tell everyone I'm the modern-day incarnation of."

Is this how it happens? If not, then what is the thought process. What must his wife say to him about this?

What ever happened to just plain preaching the gospel, and letting God and the message produce the results? Why do people insist on making themselves appear to be totally ridiculous (and even pitiable) by claiming spiritual or Biblical titles that the results of their preaching or prophesying then fail to verify?

This guy's pathology just keeps going deeper, and deeper, and deeper into the Twilight Zone. I really feel so sorry for him, the way he keeps embarrassing himself in ways that his filters won't allow him to see. It's worse than watching a drunk at a party.

People declaring themselves the Two Witnesses is ridiculous. After all, I'm the Two Witnesses, all one of me.

The reason for giving themselves fancy pants titles, is to get as close as possible to be regarded as God Himself. This gives them undue influence at the very least, and near total control over others if fully believed. This is why people couldn't escape from David Koresh.

I have to wonder what his family, particularly the ones still in LCG feel and think towards good ol' Amos.

“One of the messages that Amos proclaimed is that the time would come when people would not be able to find the words of God:”

That is because people will be looking for the words of God in all the wrong places. False prophets like Bob Thiel will have fooled them into looking for the truth in the writings of demon-deceived pagans. To find the words of God, you have to look in the Bible.

“Oh but I keep forgetting, a prophet is always without honor in his own country.”

Not just in their own country. The COG false prophets are always without honor or decency or class no matter which country they are in.

Ultimately Bob,it's not about the Church,or a "warning message to the nations",or the Gospel(do you even know the Gospel, which Jesus preached?).This is all about YOU,isn't it.The idol in your mind.SELF.You did not receive the recognition you craved in LCG so you started YOUR own church where you could receive what YOU wanted so much.YOU on a petalsal. And YOU have now what YOU always wanted. But the message YOU proclaim is plain wrong, perverse and a deeply flawed reading of scripture.YOU are not Amos. That's the "Plain Truth".

Prophets are without honor in their own country because the locals know they are off their meds.

Why do they need to convince others that they are someone 'special'?

Prestige, Entitlement, Privledge,...since God ain't giving them a pep talk, you gotta get your narcissistic supply from somewhere. "Hey sheeple, have I GOT good news for you!" And, if you don't know how to get there, just convince them that you are already there. "Bah bah believe it, you just need to learn to have more faith and I'll show you the way!"

8:39 PM Yours is the typical church demonization of the SELF and YOU. This is the wolf talking to the lamb. Both are in fact legitimate. When some of the disciples asked for the chief seat in the kingdom, Christ did not rebuke them, but pointed out the price involved. When Peter told Christ Christ that they had forsaken all, Christ did not rebuke him, but pointed out that they will be rewarded here and now, plus in the kingdom as well. He did not condemn self interest and profit.
The attitude behind the 'don't love your self,' is 'love MYSELF instead.' That is, don't serve your needs, serve my needs instead, don't pursue your hopes and dreams, but rather pursue my hopes and dreams. Needless to say, this is the bullies double standard. Embrace your SELF and YOU folks.

Cheers Trading Guy.

Amos needs to find himself an Andy to partner with, and we'd be all set.

I believe the name Andrew is still up for grabs. So the two witnesses could be Amos 'n' Andy.

Bob Thiel wrote: "...I believe that the above warning is a reference to a coming internet censorship. And in the Continuing Church of God, we have already experienced some of this (see Letter to the Brethren: January 14, 2016)..."

Bob Thiel was referring to something inspired by God in Amos 8:11-12, and Bob strives to convince us that those verses pertain to him and his manmade organization. Ridiculous! What kind of a prophet is Bob anyway? I mean, besides a false one. He loves to take God's Word out of context and make something out of it other than what God intended.

Those verses have not been fulfilled yet, and they won't be fulfilled in God's Kingdom in the future, so when might they apply? During the so-called Mickey Mouse Millennium, some 1,000 year period. Why then?

Where will Christ be? At the Father's right hand until all enemies, including death and Satan, have been subdued and put down. Where will the Bride be? Wasn't she supposed to follow the Lamb?

Bob Thiel hasn't experienced any of Amos 8:11-12. Bob Thiel just isn't that important on the world scheme of things.......although it wouldn't be such a bad idea if there was a famine of all of Bob Thiel's words...

And time will tell...

If Thiel is a prophet, he would be able to report LCG news before it happens. Instead, all he can do is compete with Malm for tidbits of gossip after things happen.

For example, who will be the first to report the news that LCG now celebrates April Fool's Day at HQ, where employees are now "pranking" each other with absolutely no repercussions or discipline from Meredith? Word is already out on Facebook, with pictures to prove it. Where was the Petulant Prophet, the Aimless Amos, when this happened?

k-baradanikto voted for Amos 'n' Andy. I however disagree and I will tell you why.

When following prophets and witnesses we must keep in mind as to who they emulate. With that said I vote for Bob Thiel. He is Gods true prophet and this video proves it!

The Sort of People Who Support the COG False Prophets

Robert Thiel can make up whatever he wants to now for his CCG and it does not seem to matter. He looks for “truth” in demon-inspired Mayan, Kenyan, and Catholic prophecies, and he looks for “Christians” in Nigeria. The sort of people who went with Bob are sneakier than he is, and they do not so much support his CCG as drain it. Those who do support the CCG seem like the sort of people who would fall for and support a scam.

Gerald Flurry proved that thousands are the sort of people who did not know anything, and who would go along with anything he changed or made up in his PCG. The sort of people who support Gerald really seem to like opportunities to be unfaithful to their own families, and to be sexually immoral, in the name of God.

Ronald Weinland wrote complete fiction for his COG-PKG. The sort of people who financially support Ron's lifestyle of travelling and shopping seem to love prophetic fantasy fiction. Ron really is a clown. Nevertheless, it is now time for Ronald McClown's propeller cap to fly off his head and go land on top of David Pack's head for a while.

David Pack recently made truly massive changes to the prophetic teachings of his RCG. A series of videos has totally changed everything. The latest video was posted on March 31, 2016 and called After the 1st Dominion--Satan Loosed, World Deceived! (Part 7). Those who are still with Dave seem like the sort of people who like doctrines and prophetic teachings that completely change overnight.

At this point in time, anyone who is still with Thiel, or Flurry, or Weinland, or Pack, is probably the sort of person who really loves evil. The false prophets could not do what they do without their support.

"RAT BAG THIEL"

I had a dream where I was watching an episode of 'Dateline NBC' and Thiel's wife was acquitted of planting rat poison around the house to kill her husband.
(Turns out she put a pile of rat poison under one side of a crooked bookshelf to straighten it, and when he nibbled at it, the bookshelf became crooked again and then crashed on him, killing him.)....

Although she was acquitted of the crime, she later confessed- but she couldn't be tried again because of 'double jeopardy'.)

Someone asked, "What ever happened to just plain preaching the gospel, and letting God and the message produce the results?"

Answer: No worries, it's been going on for centuries and 'results' are alive and well, too, since the placebo effect has been very effective in many different religions.
Adherents to all religions will tell of "produced results galore"!

Extremists will argue their results against the perceived competitions'.
