Dave Pack: No Man Has Ever Raised Up More Churches Than Me, Even After I Inherited Messed Up Pastorates

God's greatest gift to humanity is none other than Dave Pack.  No man in human history has ever been as awesome as he is, nor have run a church that is so superfantabulous!

I’m going to get into some things that this old shepherd struggled with, because I pastored—for decades of my life—thousands and thousands of people, and I know what “organized compactly” means, because I had to do it. I don’t even know many times. Just my time in Global, I actually built 43 congregations. I know a little something about it. Then there’s RCG. and there’s decades of my experience in Worldwide, where I worked with thousands and thousands of people. So I know what it means to be together and not—and to be close-jointed together and compacted together.

And I’ve come to understand, over time, why all of my pastorates in the Worldwide Church of God, as I entered…train-wrecks, fouled up…minister after minister, as I said last week, fired, suspended, or quit. And as I said, if President Trump likes to say he inherited a mess…I always inherited a mess and I learned how to do what we’re going to have to do. I know how to do it fast. I know how to do it worldwide. I know how to do it with people in many countries and languages, and coming from many groups. I know how to do it. It is my training for my whole life. And we’re going to have to do it. We’re going to have to prepare people for what is coming.

And now you better understand our task of preparing them. I know exactly what I’m talking about, and I’ve been uniquely prepared for this. There are many things I can’t do, brethren, many things you can’t do and many you can. There are many, many things I cannot do; but I’ve been trained to do certain things. I know how to build a pastorate. It makes no difference to me, none whatsoever, whether it’s a 100…I’ve had small pastorates. I’ve built little tiny ones. I had a pastorate of 1,100 one time, or whether it’s 10,000 or 100,000, I would know how to structure it. I’m not bragging, you know, I’ve done it.

What happened? When did the head injury occur? Sometime shortly after Global? What current conditions are keeping RCG from being bigger? Or the biggest? This latest braggadocio is just more evidence of small man's complex.

In sales (which is what purveying Armstrongism actually is) your raise becomes effective the minute you do! No mystery here. Dave's negatives outweigh his positives. Most people won't even consider the positives, because he's always bragging about them.

We call him Fibber, Fibber, tales that are frightening,
“No one”, says he, “can pastor like me!"
And we know that Fibber lives in his own world of wonder
Squandering plunder, as we can see

Interesting.....EVERY pastor I knew who followed Dave noted how messed up the church was and how elated they were to have anyone but Dave. I also marveled at the practice from "HQ" to pass the problem on to yet another congregation, which they knew all about, rather than confront it.

Oh and too.... It has always made a difference to Dave what size his congregation was. He is schmoozing the brethren with this false humility. It simply is not Dave's way to work with or for others. He is no team player and size and numbers are EVERYTHING to Dave. It legitimizes his view of his worth and sanctions his abbarent theological views.

A BIBLE STUDY DESIGNED ESPECIALLY FOR DAVE PACK...

1. Jeremiah 9:23-24 This is what the LORD says: “Don’t let the wise boast in their wisdom, or the powerful boast in their power, or the rich boast in their riches. But those who wish to boast should boast in this alone: that they truly know me and understand that I am the LORD who demonstrates unfailing love and who brings justice and righteousness to the earth, and that I delight in these things. I, the LORD, have spoken!

2. Proverbs 27:2 Let someone else praise you, and not your own mouth; an outsider, and not your own lips.

3. Isaiah 64:6 We are all infected and impure with sin. When we display our righteous deeds, they are nothing but filthy rags. Like autumn leaves, we wither and fall, and our sins sweep us away like the wind.

4. 1 Corinthians 13:3 And if I donate all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body in order to boast but do not have love, I gain nothing.

5. Galatians 6:14 As for me, may I never boast about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. Because of that cross, my interest in this world has been crucified, and the world’s interest in me has also died.

6. 1 Corinthians 1:31 Therefore, as the Scriptures say, “If you want to boast, boast only about the LORD.”

7. 2 Corinthians 10:17 But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

8. Proverbs 29:23 A person’s pride will bring about his downfall, but the humble in spirit will gain honor.

9. Proverbs 11:2 When pride comes, then comes dishonor, But with the humble is wisdom.

10. Proverbs 8:13 All who fear the LORD will hate evil. Therefore, I hate pride and arrogance, corruption and perverse speech.

11. James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the Lord’s presence. Then he will give you a high position.

12 Psalm 25:9 He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them his way.

13. Proverbs 18:12 Before a downfall the heart is haughty, but humility comes before honor.

14. Luke 18:11-14 The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other people–robbers, evildoers, adulterers–or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.’ “But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’ “I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”

I guess Dave is forgetting that it is God that builds congregations...we know what happens when a man tries to take credit for God's work...

His ego is obviously tied to Armstrongism. He had a very nice out with the health food store, although he may have found that confining. The fact is, considering all of his new doctrinal innovations, and the expansion of his intrusive authority into his followers' lives, he also found Armstrongism to be quite restraining.

What could be worse than actually getting rid of the restraints that even HWA kept in place? Pack has made totalitarianism even more totalitarian, if that is possible. He is the Kim Jong-un of Armstrongism.

I almost punched Mr. Pack in the face back in Global Church Of God when he accused my wife of being lazy because she couldn't find a job. I wish I would have done it instead of letting my wife telling me to just "let it go".

Kudos to Connie for the excellent "Bible Study Designed Especially For Dave Pack"!!

One or more of Dave Pack's minions regularly come(s) to HWA Banned to check out what is being written about him. Hope a miracle happens and they "get it" and spread the word!!

We pray that someone or something will shake these RCG members up before the Kool-Aid is passed around!

2:39 ~ They provoke all the hostility by their judgmentalism and name calling, and then use it as evidence that the justifiably hostile one is in the bonds of Satan. It is just their own brand of weird game. If people never responded negatively to the stuff they dish out, what could they point to as persecution? They surely couldn't cite their own Christ-like acts, because they have none. Most of the persecution in Armstrongism is pre-fabricated; self-manufactured.

Did Pack also learn from HWA how to revise history? Didn't GTA say that much of HWA's autobiography was fiction?

Hoss said...

Steve D:

Yes, Ambassador Report states that many of HWA's contemporaries with first-hand knowledge, and GTA, say that The Autobiography is 50% fiction.
In The Autobiography HWA wrote he was ordained by lay members of the Oregon Conference, not by a CG7 minister (but is that a true statement?) Strange that Bob Thiel didn't cite that as a precedent when he ordained some CCOG members in Africa, who then ordained him as pastor/overseer/prophet/whatever.

Well, there's Wonderwoman and now we have WonderDave. Maybe he secretly wears a spandex costume with a WD on the chest.

Dennis Diehl,

In light of your pilgrimage from South Carolina toward Oregon.
You do realize that your plane ride might have been a foreshadowing of the heavenly chariot of Mithras or Odin ride on Sleypnir, Ra travelling along the river across the sky......

I found this on the always reliable internet......

Teshuvah 2017

On August 21, 2017 we believe that God is calling America to begin 40 days of prayer for repentance, unity in Christ, and revival.

There will be a sign in the Heavens on August 21, 2017, a Great Solar Eclipse running across America from Oregon to the South Carolina, announcing God’s call. August 21 is also the first day of the Jewish season of Teshuvah, a 40 day season of repentance and return to God leading up to the Day of Atonement.

We believe that we should respond to God’s call with sacred assemblies on August 21.

Some may feel led to make a PILGRIMAGE TO PRAY ALONG THE ECLIPE PATH.
(Which coincides with DD's RIDE ACROSS THE HEAVENS.)

Then, we should humble ourselves and pray through the 40 day Teshuvah season.

These are dangerous times for America, and it is up to God’s people to heal our land.

etc etc etc etc

.........and then there was that dark navy plane flying over Portland last week for hours.

My booklet D Diehl in prophecy is free for the asking.....

NCK. Retract the Tract! :). I drove to Portland and my Yaris NEVER left the ground! Beside, Bob Thiel has already exposed me as a Apostate Former Minister so my credibility is shot. Besides, J P Holding declared me a High Priest of Marduk and , even as a former WCG pastor, I am not into taking any further titles at this time.

Oh man, no heavenly chariot,

It was revealed to me that

(toyota) "camry". Is the Japanese word for Crown.
"Let no man steal your Camry", would have been a perfect fit.

I will contemplate what to do with Yaris?

According to the company, it's "an amalgamation of words from Greek mythology and German. In Greek mythology, 'Charis' was a symbol of beauty and elegance. Toyota swapped the 'Ch' with 'Ya' – German for 'yes' – to symbolize the perceived reaction of European markets to the car's styling."

For now the booklet will be retracted until further explanatory dreams.
