NEW!!! Ezekiel Church of God

NEW!!! Ezekiel Church of God
It has come to my attention as Pastor General and Apostle that there is a grievous mistranslation of our great commission.
Matthew 28:18-20 King James Version (NKJV)
18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.19 Go[a]therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,20  teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”[a]Amen.
This should read: Go ye therefore and preach the Ezekiel message and scare the living daylights out of people.
We are changing our name to the Ezekiel Church of God to match our new understanding THAT NO ONE ELSE HAS!!! Brethren, do you REALIZE the ENORMOUS privilege we have to have this UNIQUE understanding.
To get this message out to the world – for the FIRST TIME in over 1900 years, we will need a lot more money. This is your chance brethren to put your shoulders to the work.
Sell all you have and send it in NOW. GREAT will be your REWARD!
Do you want this to happen to your children?

People everywhere will be in fear of the disasters.

We are in the GUN LAP. Time is SHORT. We have only 2 to 3 years to get the message out before the end comes. Don’t risk being in the LAKE OF FIRE!
Send your generous offerings to….

Ol' Zeke was probably a cool dude. Maybe we'll even be able to enjoy some beer and pretzels with him in the Kingdom. But he didn't die for our sins.

It is interesting how WCG and splinters adopted Ezekiel's commission as their own when Jesus gave a completely different mission statement. To get around this, WCG used the Matthew 24 prophetic timeline statement - preach the gospel as a witness instead of the great commission which most of the Christian churches followed - some well and some barbarically (the cross or the sword).

Within the soul reside mysteries dark & deep; about our frailties, our fears, our shame. Today, or a hundred years from now, the darkest matter will still lie in the heart.

That is very easy to see when one contemplates verses such as follows:

Before the flood: "And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually." Ge 6:5

After the flood: "And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done." Ge 8:21

OT: "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked..." Jeremiah 17:9

NT: "Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened." Romans 1:21

"Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:" Eph 4:18

And if that weren't enough, when one considers some words of Jesus Christ regarding light, we also have this:

"But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!"

Why might that be? I suppose one could come up with lots of reasons, and here are some:

"Yet the LORD hath not given you an heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day." Deut 29:4

"...The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy..." James 4:5

What might be working in human hearts to make that dark matter?

"Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:" Eph 2:2

Is it possible that that spirit has something to do with the spirit mentioned in James 4:5 cited earlier? I think that is a possibility.

As a very early example, how dark was Cain's heart? Why was Abel, his brother, killed?

I John 3:12 "Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteous."

Who is the wicked one? People often like to blame/judge Cain as though it were just a matter of “flesh wrestling with flesh” to the exclusion of any principalities. Here is one principality:

:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Is it really that simple?

Jesus Christ said: "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it." John 8:44

Is some wicked one really allowed to be that busy?

Isaiah knew of darkness too:

"For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee." Isaiah 60:2

This blog site exposes lots of evils, darkness and gross darkness.

Don't make a big deal out of the word “repentance,” b/c repentance only means change: and in this case, a change of heart.

That darkness you, Kevin, speak of will continue deep in the heart of each of us unless/until God does something to grant repentance.

Time will tell...

An example of focusing on a marketing approach rather than honesty. John the Baptist and Christ did use some marketing, but they didn't cross the line into obvious deception or terror religion with a incessant "we only have 2-3 years left" or similar.
Many people in the past believed these lies, resulting in putting off medical treatment, marriage and a education. Presumably these shysters shrug off these cases as "collateral damage." Really? Whatever happened to 'do no evil,' or Gods ways are perfect? These deceivers should fear Gods promise of avenging the brethren.

John,

I appreciate your insight, but I didn't write that. Someone else posted under my name.

Apparently an immature "someone else".
