Dean May, Former UCG Minister and Former WCG Department Head Arrested On Felony Burglary Charges

A reader here sent in the following.  Apparently, it made the evening news here in Los Angeles last night on almost all the channels. Dean May, was arrested for burglary and has had a high bail amount set.

Dean May, has a long history with the church.  A graduate of the "world-class" Imperial Schools here in Pasadena, known as the "Jr. West Point" by many employees and members.  He was good buddies with the circle of men who surrounded Joe Tkach Sr. as he rose to power in the mid-1980s.  May was ordained as a minister in the Worldwide Church of God and served as the head of Transportation Department here in Pasadena.  He also traveled on many of Joe Tkach Sr's trips.

Dean May left WCG when United Church of God formed and was a minister for them where he served in Oregon.  He later moved back to Southern CA to the City of LaVerne.

When Dean May worked here in Pasadena he was known as a condescending little prick who had quick temper and would run off at the mouth, asserting his authority.  After he had been kicked out of WCG, he mouthed off to someone here in the area and they beat the crap out of him.

The fact he was arrested on burglary charges was not a real shocker.  He was known for stealing things while he was employed in Pasadena, but the administration covered up for him.

LA VERNE, Calif. (KABC) -- An apartment building manager was caught on video appearing to case a tenant's home, and he's suspected of stealing several expensive items, including her grandfather's Rolex.

Video of the alleged burglary inside Suzy Wrate's La Verne apartment was caught on hidden camera, with the incident lasting about 30 minutes.

She installed the camera after several pieces of jewelry and the high-priced watch went missing, suspecting the apartment manager of being behind it.

Her suspicions were confirmed when she saw 69-year-old Dean May walking around her home.

"I saw our apartment manager coming in our front door, putting on a flashlight, going through various things in my home. He then disappeared into the bedrooms for about 10 minutes," Wrate said. "Everybody in the complex has had packages stolen, and sharing with neighbors, it has become pretty obvious that he was the one responsible."

May was arrested the next day for felony burglary.

Wrate said May and his wife ran the La Verne Woods Apartments for several years. May's wife was not arrested, but she was terminated by the property's owner.

"Personally, I find it hard to believe that she didn't know something," Wrate said.

News of the arrest came as a shock to tenants.
"We thought he was honest. We thought he would go around making sure everything was OK," resident Denise Reyes said.

But, like her neighbors, several items have gone missing from her home and porch.

Wrate and her husband helped some tenants recover some of their stolen goods from the dumpsters.

The Plain Truth about the United Church of God's ministerial practice of God's 10 Commandments:

1) Thou shalt not steal - UCG minister Dean May
2) Thou Shalt not kill - UCG Minister Stephen Allwine
3) Thou shalt not commit adultery - Again, the winner is UCG minister Stephen Allwine visiting cheater's website; perhaps others

Anyone want to add to the ministerial practices of these and the other 7 Commandments by the dis--United Church of God ministers?

Amazing and saddening. I knew Dean as a teenager. He had a summer job as an Imperial student, working in the landscape department. We both worked the grounds in the area around the Student Center, and we got along great. He rode a Honda in those days. I also knew his older brother Merle.

Sadly, this appears to be another example of how the system corrupted the innocents. It also wouldn’t surprise me terribly if we were to learn that Dean was another victim of the church and ACOGs’ “retirement” policies.

This is no surprise to me. I used to working in the TP department and saw what he did. He was a total jerk to people.

What about Melvin Rhodes? He wasn't just any ol' minister, he was the freakin' Chairman of the Council of Elders when it came out that he had an affair with another UCG churchmember, a woman who was also married hersef. This affair went on for years.

If Melvin Rhodes is not the winner in this category, I don't know who is.

The Unbelieving Church of Godlessness--an International Abomination (UCGaIA) is
where unrepentant, unconverted unbelievers go to behave very badly while playing church.

Dean May just put into practice David Pack's all things are common doctrine. What is yours is really his, no crime here. David Pack is actually no different of a thief.

What on earth is going on with the United ministry ?

“Dean May, UCG Minister and Former WCG Department Head Arrested On Felony Burglary Charges”

***Yawn!***

So, what is new with this? These so-called “ministers” are used to despising other people and stealing from them. Nothing new here.

The sneakier so-called “ministers” who steal by the religious rules have good accountants and good lawyers make it all technically legal.

The excessively greedy, adulterous, murderous, and stupid so-called “ministers” can end up in jail.

Still, 1:14, it’s always kind of a gas when the latest flatus wafts in from the ACOGs. Nice to keep informed regarding the recent activities of people we knew way back when. The Journal used to be a good resource for such news, but Dixon needed to retire, which I totally understand.

Dean May is not a UCG minister.

GTA is in the adultery "Hall of Fame", in the same category as a Babe Ruth, or Wayne Gretsky in sports!

If this guy had such a bad reputation in WCG how come UCG took him ?

By the time UCG formed, most of the men with integrity had already left for other COG groups. I don't mean real integrity, but men with a firm belief that they were right and needed to change immediately. On the other hand, the guys at UCG were weasels and followed along with Tkach's changes for quite some time, disfellowshipping and making peoples lives miserable. None of them had any real integrity to take a firms stand at the beginning, so those that waited around for UCG to form were not the most ethical men left. Look at how they covered up for Melvin Rhodes and acted like h did not do anything really that bad. COGWA is just as bad, as it is made up of the same men with low ethical values.

"If this guy had such a bad reputation in WCG how come UCG took him ? " They knew. He was part of the boys network that included Webber and other younger ministers.

This should be of no surprise to anyone. The COG's ministers have been stealing the hard earned income of church members for decades with their tithing doctrines. How can they sleep at night? Many of them know that the tithing doctrines are bogus!

let's not leave out Doug Horchak, from COGWA, who has attempted to seduce wives of other members throughout the years.
