Dave Pack: "They have almost nothing, but should have given it ALL sooner"

That's a minister favorite. If a member changes for the better, instead of being complemented, they are beaten down with a "what took you so long."

Setting aside the ludicrous scenario of the demand for everyone's assets for a moment, just how would Mr. Pack know the financial situation of all of these people? He said some had very little and he said some were poor and had nothing. Just how would he know what their financial situation was?

I guess it should not be a surprise that Mr. Pack knows the financial status of his membership. He stated in a sermon in 2013 how much money (treasuries) he was going to get when all the splinters returned to him - worshiping at his feet according to a top minister who told me that personally. I guess it further shouldn't be a surprise when Mr. Pack stated how many millions he would receive in tithe money when all the splinters were going to return to him. And when Mr. Pack elatedly projected on how many billions of dollars the splinter members would give him as "Common", that wasn't a surprise either. And lest anyone should forget, Mr. Pack stated that the Jews the world over would at the threat of death would give him TRILLIONS of dollars so he could build the third temple.

So while the membership of the RCG gets the heavy load put upon them of preparing for the imminent return of Jesus Christ by cleaning out their bank accounts, the last end time Apostle, Elijah-That Prophet, Joshua the High Priest, Passover, oven master, messenger, and Man Clothed In Linen, sits around playing with his 15 digit calculator.

Time is short indeed for many in his membership when letters of eviction and notices of shutoffs start coming in the mail. I have seen this personally.

Maybe the membership of the RCG needs to write Mr. Pack a letter and inform him that he should have correctly predicted the date of the return of Jesus Christ a LOT SOONER so they don't have to live worrying about which bill doesn't get paid each and every month.

Money (That's What I Want)
By The Flying Lizards

The best things in life are free
But you can give them to the birds and bees
I want money
That's what I want
That's what I want
That's what I want

Your love is such a thrill
But your love won't pay my bills
I want money
That's what I want
That's what I want
That's what I want

Money don't get everything it's true
What it don't get, I can't use
I want money
That's what I want
That's what I want
That's what I want

I want money
I want lots of money
In fact, I want so much money
Give me your money
Just give me money

Giving to any church or ministry is not giving to god! Churches are nothing but institutions started and perpetuated by humans! It is horrible when any minister tells dirt poor people to give the last little bit of wealth they have and play on their sense of guilt to not do so would not please god and to do so would please god greatly. This is nothing but b.s.!! How does Pack or anyone like him sleep at night?

What RCG folks do not understand, among many things, is that Packatollah does not care at all about what difficulties will arise in members' lives when they give all their money. Narcissists do not care about the plights of anyone but themselves. He expects them to give all and if they suffer for it, so be it. He doesn't carr. After all, in his twisted mind he has suffered more than any person on earth. So join the club. If someone there ever comes to see the true Pack and his raging narcissism, then they must face personal guilt of being scammed out of so much money. That is too bitter of a pill to swallow, and so most will continue in blissfully being scammed. Sad, but life.

This reminds me of catfish scams from people in Africa finding a lonely, wealthy (sometimes not) widow in America promising love, marriage and a payback of millions if they send them money to leave the country. The idiots fall for this scam because emotion takes over rather than logic. It’s tragic on both counts. Pack ought to be imprisoned for his scam. That’s exactly what it is.

Dave Pack needs to have his Council of Kiss-Ups tell him to shut his mouth about all his illusions about the return of any Jesus soon, shortly or quickly. It's a lie and cruel one. His views are based on mistaken and delusional views about who he thinks he is "according to the scriptures" and he is an excellent example of how men or women in ministry with mental challenges and delusional thinking can hide in ministry much more effectively than say at IBM or any organization outside religious ones. The quirky behaviors, opinions and ideas appear, at times, to be obedience, special insights from God and the workings of the Holy Spirit, whatever that is. Nothing like it would remotely be tolerated in the real world of people and organizations or companies.

If Dave had ended up in the Navy having not turned down Annapolis, if that is a true story on his part, he would be the modern Captain Bligh but would have been bounced out of the service or thrown overboard long ago. But more likely he would have seen himself as the reincarnation of Lord Nelson, John Paul Jones, Drake or Cook before it was obvious he wasn't.

Eventually his ship, like his campus, would have sold off as scrap, repurposed or perhaps to be sunk and used as a manmade reef to encourage life to return again in all it's beauty.

I Dave Pack was the reincarnation of Lord Nelson I would at breakfast have chosen the lesser of 2 weevils.

At IBM, it would be Watson who would hold his delusions to account and beat him at chess in the process. I regularly meet Watson. He sits there silently in a corner flashing his little lights, silently contemplating or perhaps coming to the realization how stupid some are. I don't know really. He just sits there, calculating, computing, processing. One day we might learn to apreciate him for the great mind this humble creation is.

MY COMMENT - And in one simple sentence, what about the truth has captured the entire 85 year history of the Armstrong Church of God movement. You can insert the names where he writes "RCG" and "Mr. Pack". My re-write:

Maybe the membership of the Armstrong Church of God movement needs to write [INSERT FALSE PROPHET NAME HERE] a letter and inform him that he should have correctly predicted the date of the return of Jesus Christ a LOT SOONER so they don't have to live worrying about which bill doesn't get paid each and every month.

To paint the picture a little further to understand just what an insidious greed-ful mind Mr. Pack possesses, it is prudent to look into the whole context of when he spoke these words.

These words were spoken this past FOT in October and recorded as sermon #144. The setup to the scenario of people with little or nothing running to the minister inquiring whether they should now clean out their bank accounts was the opening night message (sermon #143) were Mr. Pack laid out before his membership the probability that events or the return of Jesus Christ himself could happen starting in as little as two weeks after the Feast.

So in a matter of DAYS from when Mr. Pack delivered his "stunning" opening night message, he was receiving reports from the ministry as to how many people were coming forward with questions of how far they should go in liquidating all that they have, who these people were and what was their financial standing.

In a time of the year the bible states people should be partaking of whatever there soul desires and learning to fear the Lord God, the membership of the RCG were presumably calling their bankers, their mortgage company, their stock broker, their life insurance agent and their retirement fund manager.

Mr. Pack knew full well what the response would be when he intentionally and purposefully opened the Feast with that message. Just as he knew a whole membership with 9% of their yearly income would be inclined to really fill the offering baskets that Feast with the perceived return of Jesus Christ just on the horizon.

Mr. Pack talked glowingly on more than one occasion on how a mere "wallpaper hanger" Adolph Hitler could mesmerize a whole nation with words alone. He has bragged repeatedly about how he has studied German/Assyrian history more than any man that ever lived. Just what did Mr. Pack learn in all that study? Was it that maybe a mere local church pastor could take over the whole world? Did he learn by what mechanism he could accomplish such a feat? And did he think in his mind that his Reich (realm/kingdom) could be grander than them all?

The RCG has lost any semblance of a church. It is now only a mechanism for the advancement of a well intention-ed and well informed purveyor of a grandiose kingdom led by a man who sees himself as far above anyone and almost everything.

With a spouse in this group, I had to obtain a legal separation to protect what we had and take control of our finances and assets. He told me he wanted a separation so he could give away his half of what we had, I didn't agree. Finally I had to give in or we would be out on the street.
