LCG: Trust and OBEY!

Not exactly the best juxtaposition of a picture and wording, but it essentially nails how LCG operates.  Members MUST trust their ministerial masters for guidance and then MUST obey at all costs!

If you want to view the dull video, it is here.

I watched the full video. He recites going down the narrow path, turning neither to the left or right. Well in that case, please explain the church tyranny, which obviously clashes with many scriptures. Or are members supposed to pretend and make believe that it's somehow in the bible, or a pragmatic compromise that God will hopefully ignore.
Weren't they giving this same sermon 50 years ago? It's all spiritual milk.

The only reason one would look into one's toilet would be to find urine or feces, and to flush it away. Make sure it's clean. Most of us know in advance whether our toilets are clean or dirty. I will not be viewing this video to know whether the LCG toilet contains figurative bodily wastes, because I already know the only things which I could possibly find there. Gerald Weston has already used the toilet before anyone else has gotten there, and he has failed to flush it.

Good thing LCG has the Old Testament or they'd not know what to talk about in the Christian faith.

Skip ahead to 1:04:05 in the sermon; there's a strange brief insert of Rod McNair at the lectern. Is this just unprofessional editing, or is there some subtle message involved?

Weston would look good in a nazi uniform. Very stylish.

Sorry, I never saw the comments where the Hartman pic was. I saw the photo of the video and went looking for it.

TRUST that Jesus Christ knew what He was talking about when He said, "My sheep hear My voice" (John 10:27).

OBEY that voice when you hear it.

God's people have His Holy Spirit. God's ministers are helpers of His people's joy (2 Corinthians 1:24).

A "minister" who berates God's people and who demands that God's people submit to the ministry for periodic beatings is not likely to be a true minister of Jesus Christ. A true minister recognizes the Holy Spirit working in God's people, and humbly does his best to encourage each Christian to be his or her best.

When you are hungry before you go to a buffet, you anticipate being filled by a tasty meal. If it's a good buffet, you leave feeling filled and satisfied. Apply that same test to your Sabbath fellowship. Before you arrive, do you eagerly anticipate being fed sumptuously? When you leave, do you feel filled and satisfied?

If your local buffet filled you with dread before each visit, and you left unsatisfied, you wouldn't go back. How strange it is that so many dread their weekly Sabbath fellowship, then leave without feeling nurtured and well-fed.

It's subliminal programming! All LCG members are being secretly persuaded to recognize Rod McNair as the true heir to HWA! A close examination of the original video (not available on youtube) shows every 24th frame is a picture of Rod McNair overlaid with the words "trust and obey". Insiders at LCG told me that the video guys were aware of the glitch at 1:04, but reasoned that no one is really going to watch this sermon to the very end, except for those in congregations on Atonement, and they'll all be fast asleep by that stage of the sermon.
