Much less mythology and no need for a Savior to die for my sins. Just a simple explanation for the existence of the Universe--though not scientific.

Mr. Paine has made a masterful attempt to expose the Bible for the fraud that it is. Reminds me of the old saying that you will reap the whirlwind (tornado) if you sow the wind. I care not for the organization or the leaders, but I feel real compassion for all those confused and bludgeoned people. It's a study in the inevitable results of full blown narcissism. Ambassador College was a narcissism founded institution, and it turned out some real narcissists, Rod Meredith being one of the earliest examples. Never could stand that guy. Armstrong had taught that God is a family that currently consists of two beings: the father and the son. God's great master plan is to reproduce himself through humans. That is why God created man in the image of God. Jesus is the firstborn of many brethren. Those who do not work out can have their temporary physio-chemical existence extinguished, and those who do work out can be turned into immortal spirit beings as part of the family of God.

This is the real reason why satanic impostor cults like the Philadelphia Splinter Cult try so hard to destroy the family. Rather than tell the truth and say that Satan wants to destroy the family, they deliberately lie and say that this is what God wants, and what HWA had taught. They have a devilish way of falsely claiming to be faithfully following HWA in everything, even while they actually pervert in the most monstrous and unimaginable ways everything that HWA actually did teach. Gerald Flurry praises HWA, but then praises himself even more, and goes on to teach the exact opposite of what HWA had taught.

The PCG used HWA's name and photograph to attract former WCG members, and falsely claimed to be faithfully following everything that HWA had taught, even though it made some major doctrinal changes early on. Gerald Flurry quoted Adolf Hitler as saying that a clever conqueror will impose his will in instalments. So, after a while, the PCG cut off its members from contact with the rest of the church family by telling them not to associate with those in the other splinter groups, who were made out to be “evil Laodiceans.” Now, as the trap tightens some more, the latest instalment of Satan's will is to break up the families of PCG members.

Many unfaithful, disloyal, irresponsible, and wicked people in the PCG were eager long ago to abandon their mates and children, and to pretend that they were doing it for the PCG cult and for God. The real reason that one PCG guy said he thought he could “grow more” without his wife, whom he wanted to divorce, seemed to be that he worked at a place where there were about twenty women for every guy. Another PCG guy was eager to see other members “bite the bullet” and divorce their mates. Yet another guy in the PCG wanted to continue with his life-long habit of having sex with women that he never bothered to marry, even when he had children by them, and wanted to continue to call himself “single.” Some young girls came back from the PCG summer camp pregnant. Others dated outside of the PCG and got pregnant, even though their religion was supposedly “very important” to them. Sometimes it is hard to tell what distinguishes a PCG member from any other godless and immoral person.

Some warped PCG leaders, like the Morleys, try to pair up some singles with much older sex perverts, and pass this off as trying so hard to “help” the victim. They quickly become angry, slander their victim all over the place, and get them kicked out, if they do not go along with it. While always trying to promote and force all sorts of unnatural and evil relationships, they try to break up all normal, natural, and good family relationships.

Many ignorant and wicked people went with the PCG for their own selfish reasons, but not everyone who went with the PCG was totally evil, and this seems to bother the leadership. Those who thought that they could hide out in a satanic cult like the PCG without being required to do even more evil than they already have by supporting That False Prophet and his impostor cult with its massive doctrinal changes are about to learn differently. Since the Bible says in the New Testament that, “If anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for his immediate family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever” (I Timothy 5:8, NIV), getting PCG members to break up their immediate families is a high priority for a satanic impostor cult like the PCG.

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-226103369043606765.post-49053131086153984752016-08-03T12:23:06.283-07:002016-08-03T12:23:06.283-07:00Gerald, deists believe God created the universe, t...Gerald, deists believe God created the universe, then walked away. What Armstrongism has done (and Flurryism is simply a more extreme form) is to undermine family at every turn, while redefining and replacing the intrinsic values of family, only making these a function of their little church cult.

This has lasting effects on peoples' lives. Just as one would need to separate oneself from an alcoholic family to reach basic functionality in life, and reasonable levels of success and stability, one should separate oneself from family intoxicated on all of the toxic bullshit of Armstrongism. The problem is that particularly Gerald Flurry does not leave this up to the individuals whom a counsellor would normally advise to actually do the separating. He has the problematic ones, the ones who are the cause of the codependent relationship do the deed, and it becomes a deeper form of manipulation, virtually destroying the possibility of any sort of reconciliation or healing in the future.

Even when one is amongst fellow siblings who have left these cults, what always seems to dominate the conversation for decades after the Armstrong experience is how horrible it all was. These people burn everything in advance for their members in their own little scorched earth campaign. In a sense, the minute you become a member, you are so totally screwed. And they know what they are doing, and that they are responsible for their actions, but have convinced themselves that incredible evil is God's way. The way that they introduce members into this evil is to take charge and to redefine virtually everything for them.

BBByker Bobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15602697337552385535noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-226103369043606765.post-72654851176760007362016-08-03T09:59:26.861-07:002016-08-03T09:59:26.861-07:00This may be an appropriate time to post a paragrap...This may be an appropriate time to post a paragraph from "The Age of Reason", written by Thomas Paine in 1794-1795. It expresses an idea I relate to completely. How about you?

"It has been the practice of all Christian commentators on the Bible, and of all Christian priests and preachers, to impose the Bible on the world as a mass of truth and as the word of God; they have disputed and wrangled and anathematized each other about the supposed meaning of particular parts and passages therein; one has said and insisted that such a passage meant such a thing; another said it meant directly the contrary; and a third, that it meant neither one nor the other, but something different from both; and this they call understanding the Bible."

Many of the Founding Fathers were interested not only in freedom of religion, but freedom from religion as well. Many of them were Deists, which may not be the best explanation for the universe, but is more sensible than Christianity, by far.

Let's reject the insanity of all these nutty cults.Gerald Bronkarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01351342089409543119noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-226103369043606765.post-36707533964634277192016-08-03T08:12:14.095-07:002016-08-03T08:12:14.095-07:00Flurry always reminded me of a toad. PCG is a very old group. There will be lots of deaths over the next 10 to 20 years. Even if an inheritance is passed to a living PCG member, eventually the chain of descendants and relatives that are in PCG will run out, and the "last man" PCG family member will likely leave all to the cult.

These bastards are like a rendering and recycling operation , similar to a Nazi death camp. These days, that might be quite the valid perspective. Nevertheless, pronoia is exactly the opposite, where someone with the disorder believes that everyone is absolutely for them, even though they are nasty, mean and oppressive. Think Miss Piggy.

It appears that Flurry seems to have a bad case of pronoia. He has this feeling of entitlement that the universe revolves around him and that he can do anything he wants while people just adore him.

I'd say that this could come to no good end for him except for the fact that the world is filled with Kermits.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-226103369043606765.post-32521432977122396042016-08-02T23:14:29.710-07:002016-08-02T23:14:29.710-07:00They'll all be gone soon.
