As a little helper, the people were not supposed to serve Dave, because Dave was a hireling being paid to serve brethren.

When Dave no longer was a little helper to those brethren and left the WCG, that is the time he left all of his ministerial credentials behind. He is no longer an ordained minister, one of the little helpers, with the WCG credentialing.

So today, March 2015, Dave Pack's ordinations by HWA are absolutely meaningless. So, why is Dave boasting about a double ordination when he no longer serves those that his credentials were meant to serve? Dave Pack is all about self.....and self-preservation...even if he has to "lord it over others."

JohnAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-226103369043606765.post-9965882739443180482015-03-09T07:50:20.799-07:002015-03-09T07:50:20.799-07:00Being double minded isn't a blessing (in some ...Being double minded isn't a blessing (in some contexts, it's called schizophrenia).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-226103369043606765.post-29966015153893265962015-03-09T01:39:36.516-07:002015-03-09T01:39:36.516-07:00This illustrates a pervasive churchwide behavioral...This illustrates a pervasive churchwide behavioral pattern within Armstrongism. People are not what they seem to be, because they are not permitted to be themselves. Everyone, even the minister, is an actor, adhering to what they believe is the approved script for their particular role.

It has been said that in dating, or in some cases in a marriage situation, while you may like what you see initially, it takes a good six months to a year before each individual completely lets his or her guard down, allowing you to get to know the "real" them. Basically, if a potential spouse is not properly vetted, marriage ends up becoming a trap.

Historically, new people were not allowed to atttend Armstrongite church services until they had either been baptized, or were days or weeks away from it. The problem with this was that over the first several months of actual attendance, these folks often found out about the many things that they did not know they had signed up for. It was most definitely not a what you see is what you get situation, as there had not been an opportunity to properly vet the church. Thus, as the facade finally fell, people often realized that they had been unwittingly entrapped in a very carefully preplanned process. Unfortunately, this dishonest approach reset their paradigms as to what might be the right thought patterns for church members.

Transformation is not a conscious, will-power type effort at saying the right things, or acting in accordance with the proper script. That would be superficial. Trying to act like a Biblical character, and then attempting to resemble that character is just plain disingenuous, if not a little kooky. If someone really were Elijah, that person is simply not going to need to harp on persuading his congregants that that is the case. In spiritual circles, we would normally expect God to work within peoples' hearts to make them realize that they had an Elijah amongst them. That would be the source of the wellspring of awareness.

RCG members should require Dave to prove in non-verbal ways that he is what he claims to be. That is the only way to distinguish between reality and a badly overacted exercise in theatrics.

BBByker Bobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15602697337552385535noreply@blogger.com
