Alton Billingsley: US and Israelite Nations To Be Destroyed In 2026

The Church of God is positively bursting at the seams with so many self-appointed, truth-challenged false prophets these days that keeping score is getting downright exhausting.

We’ve got Dave Pack, whose “Christ” is apparently making a special detour to Wadsworth, Ohio, just to squeeze in a quick shopping trip at the Giant Eagle. Then there’s Gerald Flurry, waiting for his version of Christ to show up in Edmond, Oklahoma, ready to be crowned King of Kings on some ridiculous chair with a grimy rock from Oregon shoved under the seat. And let’s not overlook Ron Weinland, the pioneering Church of God prophet who achieved the rare distinction of becoming a convicted felon. All of them are batting a solid, unwavering .000.

Don’t forget Alton Billingsley’s legendary 2021 prophecy masterpiece—truly groundbreaking material… if you happen to enjoy predictions that come with a complimentary industrial-sized salt shaker. (Every other “prophecy” this man has ever made has crashed and burned so spectacularly that failure might actually be his spiritual gift.) And of course, he remains faithfully devoted to his royal collection of qualifiers: “possiblies,” “maybes,” “could-bes,” and the timeless classic, "God delayed this prophecy because the church was not ready".

Truly the same prophetic bloodline of brilliance shared with that other global heavyweight of almost-truth, Bwana Bob Mzungu Thiel—Africa’s leading authority on things that almost, kinda, sorta, maybe could happen… eventually… probably not.

Possibly close to the Passover, April 4, 2023, will begin the famine to last for three and one-half years that God in heaven above is bringing on His people, the House of Joseph, America and Britain, and other tribes of Israel.

Prophecy also makes known the devil will release Assyria-Germany from the bottom- less pit. Therefore, bringing into existence the Holy Roman Empire sometime during the year, 2024.

Then the severity of the famine, with pestilence, Covid 19 mutating into the black plague, will commence destroying America in particular—then the same to come upon the other Israeli nations in 2026! All this is to be followed by nuclear warfare (Ezekiel 5:12)—with the lone exception of Judah. Her fate will come later.

Before all this, there will be a civil war, 2024-2025 (Jeremiah 51:46 "... Violence in the land ruler against ruler....") Could the civil war begin because of the possible assassination of President Trump? Something momentous will have to happen to trigger it! The civil war will start before the finality takes place. Details will follow in other writings.

This year, 2023, will lead into unparalleled and frightening times! This nation and the world are presently asleep to what will soon befall them, similar to the pre-flood world of Noah, and Sodom and Gomorrah (Luke 17:26-30 "... so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed ...").

May God have mercy. The Ezekial Watchman

The cover letter had this:

This is a cover letter for the Ezekiel Warning Messages to begin appearing monthly on the Church of God Faithful Flock Website-Warnings from God's use of His promised Elijah of the end-time to a people who have rejected and forgotten their God.

In view of Prophetic Biblical teachings, connected with major disastrous events, now occurring, and projected to worsen on a national and international scale over the next few years, strongly implies Jesus Christ will be standing on this earth in the year-2029. This is eight years from now, 2021. How quickly time flies!

They also make known this nation is in mortal danger of being destroyed, as a nation, along with Britain, and other nations of Israel, in the year 2026-no more than five years from now, 2021. Prophesied to be destroyed by a super-power far greater than America.

Though it has not yet appeared, it is prophesied to be fully developed by the year-2024. This is only three years from now, 2021.

In the end, the modern-day Church of God movement has produced an unbroken parade of self-proclaimed prophets whose batting average sits at a pristine .000.

Every. Single. One.

From the granddaddy Armstrong-era offshoots right down to the current crop of internet-enabled dreamers, the track record is depressingly consistent: bold proclamations, confident timelines, dramatic “Thus saith the Lord” declarations… followed by the sound of crickets, goalpost relocation, spiritualized reinterpretations, and—when all else fails—the classic “it was fulfilled spiritually, you just didn’t have eyes to see it.”

Scripture is brutally clear on the matter: one failed prediction and the claim of divine authority collapses like a house of cards in a windstorm (Deuteronomy 18:22). No appeals to “human frailty.” No partial-credit mulligans. No “close enough for prophetic work.” One swing-and-miss = false prophet. Period.

Yet here we are, decades later, still watching the same tragic comedy repeat itself with new characters and slightly updated websites.

The conclusion is painfully obvious:

It is long past time to stop giving these men platforms.

It is long past time to stop treating their fever dreams as divine revelation.

And above all—it is long past time to stop giving them your money.

Because every dollar sent to a proven false prophet isn’t supporting “the Work.”

It’s subsidizing the next round of embarrassing, date-setting, fear-mongering failure.

The true church of God has never needed a parade of prophetic pretenders to survive.

It certainly doesn’t need them now.

Walk away.

Keep your wallet closed.

And let the modern false-prophet industrial complex finally starve for the attention and cash it no longer deserves.

The scoreboard doesn’t lie.

  1. As Dick Armstrong could attest, the only thing more dangerous than relying on Billingsley for prophecy is relying on him as your driver.

  3. 1. No one knows the day or the hour.

    2. No prophecy is of any private interpretation.

Don’t believe me. Believe the Bible.

  4. "The word advent comes from the Latin term adventus meaning "arrival" or "coming," particularly the coming of something having great importance."

Armstrongism is a Adventist church, so the "end is nigh" is central to its teachings.

  5. Sadly, Alton B. “Don” Billingsley does not seem to have learned anything from the past 90 years of wrong prophetic guesses. With old age should come great wisdom and humility, not more arrogant stupidity to waste other people's lives.

Fortunately, only other old fools are still with the OLD FOOL Alton Billingsley. It would be tragic for him to ruin the lives of any more youths.

I will be most curious to behold a viral disease mutating into a bacterial disease.

  7. What do you call prophecy that does not become fulfilled?

Shit. These people have spent their lifetimes shoveling it, and their followers have not only been stepping in it, they've been willingly walking in it!

  8. Little narrow-minded people focus their attention on little things, on other people around them, and on their immediate physical surroundings and temporal things. But big broad-minded people focus their attention on big things, on the big picture of God's awesome purpose and "plan" in the long run, in creating man on the earth, in the "on-going creation process" of the molding and shaping of God's holy, righteous, perfect, character in humans, until we are finally finished in the making, a spiritual creation, composed of spirit essence like the Father and Christ are. We as humans, are only partially made, not yet a completed creation.

  9. A lot of people today want to start their own churches ⛪️, and some of them ask me to pray for it, for God to bless it and make it a success, instead of the other way around what it should be, of supporting with your prayers, tithes, and offerings, God's cause of fulfilling the "great commission," which Jesus Christ gave to His disciples and apostles, His Church, of Matthew 24:14, 28:18-20. They have already made up their mind as to what doctrines they want to believe, teach, and practice instead of what they/ we all should be doing, which is: to read ๐Ÿ“š and study ๐Ÿ“– God's Word daily, and praying to the Father in heaven daily ๐Ÿ™, to gain and maintain contact with God, that vital connection with our Maker and heavenly Father: to learn what He wants for us to do, how we ought to live, what doctrines that we ought to live by, believe, teach, and practice. They have it turned upside down, the opposite way that it should be; as if they know better than God does. Automatically blessings flow from obeying God's laws, but automatically cursings ๐Ÿคฌ flow from disobeying/ breaking them. Don't teach that we should break God's laws, and still pray for God to bless them. Because He won't. The Bible says, ✍️ "He that turns away his ear๐Ÿ‘‚from hearing the law, even his prayer๐Ÿ™ shall be an abomination." Proverbs 28:9.

    1. law means many things as we may learn in Strong's given its 219 uses in OT:

      instruction, direction (human or divine); body of prophetic teaching; instruction in Messianic age; body of priestly direction or instruction;
      body of legal directives

      law: law of the burnt offering; of special law, codes of law;

      custom, manner

      the Deuteronomic or Mosaic Law

We would be well advised to ponder what we are seeking to hear so we don't fall into the fate described. Proverbs seems to fall within the first mentioned category.

  10. I didn't even know if he had any kind of ministry? He was nice when I first talked to him and his first wife, but I could hear as time went on subtle changes. He began to be sound like he and the "work" that they were doing were so important. And that they (cogff) were basically the ONLY TRUE CHURCH.

  11. Billingsley reminds me of an old Jerry Lee Lewis song, Middle Age Crazy. The line "trying to prove he still can" applies very well to him and all the other ACOG'ers who hanging in there hoping their prophecies will com true some day.

  12. It is incorrect to call everyone in the cog’s “prophets.”

Some few call themselves prophets, but prove by their mistakes that they are not. Those are false prophets.

Many of those Gary loves to label false prophets are simply scripture “interpreters “ who are misguided. They have been taught that we can read the scriptures and the Holy Spirit will help them understand what is meant. A real prophet, biblically, is one who receives messages direct from the Father through His spirit. Those prophets no longer are used today as scripture shows.

So, it would be nice if Gary would be more accurate in his criticism, and would make things clearer as to why the cog ministry makes so many wrong predictions.

Also, those who say we can’t know the day or hour of Messiah’s return need to reread the question asked. The question was about restoring the nation of Israel. We now know that date as Israel is again a nation.

There are several clues in scripture that indicate we can know the time of the return. Our problem is, can we accurately put the pieces together for a change.

  13. Doing the Work a preacher does is not just what you say and preach with your mouth and in writing, but more importantly how you live. It is a lifestyle. Living the one right way. There are many different wrong ways of life, that the Devil, all the demons and most people are living today, the ways of misery, unhappiness, chaos, confusion, destruction and, in the end all lead to certain death. But there is only one RIGHT WAY to live, the way our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ our older brother and the righteous angels have always lived, and will continue living for all eternity, the way of peace and happiness, the way of LOVE of outgoing concern for others. Practicing the golden rule, Do unto others as you would have them do unto you! Are you living this way? How many of your friends and associates and others living in this world today do know are really practicing God's way of life of LOVE?

  14. Other English versions of the Holy Bible such as the New King James Version, New International Version, American Standard Version can also be used, but I still consider the Authorized King James version 1611, to be #1. for the English language. Because it is the first and oldest English Version, with probably fewer mistakes in translation mistranslations, than any other. Also, because the Bible Helps, such as Strong's Exhaustive Bible Concordance, lists every word in the Holy Bible (for reference) for the King James Version 1611, but not for the NIV or any other English Versions. Because different words would be used in the other Translations Versions. Also, the Strong's Concordance has the Hebrew and Greek Dictionaries in the back, explaining the meaning of each word in the Bible.

  15. 2030 or thereabouts has become the new 1933, 1972, 1975, Millennium bug 1999 make of that what you will.
Interestingly 2030 is being predicted by 'financial investor experts' as a date for a world depression putting the 1929 great depression into the shade.

  16. Now, nothing has to happen physically to be seen by the physical eye before the return? We are as in the days of Noah. Some prophecies are for the spirit world. Some prophecies that false prophets and false apostles claim have to happen happened already, some long ago.

  25. The ghastly drawing of scared and agonized souls was published by the worldwide church many years ago. I recall seeing it in the early magazines when I was young.
It scared people which was Armstrong's purpose of course, being one of the many tools he used to exercise control.

What it depicts now in my mind is the tortured state of all that Armstrongism was to represent and still dies - emptiness, sadness, things crumbling, bad things.

  26. The artwork is the by-product of a deep inner sickness called Armstrongism. It is no longer as contagious as it once was, having mutated into milder strains. Most of the infected are quarantined to little nostalgia groups called ACOGs, who wait for the old artwrok to become reality so that the bad decisions they made over a lifetime can be validated, and their lives won't be a total waste.

Well, he wasn't wrong about a possible assassination. But I don't see (so far) any patriot militias racing to Minnesota to help ICE agents.

Yet if Mr. Trump really moves to take over Greenland, that could push the E.U. over the edge.

  30. Part if Alton Billingsley's cover letter stated:

"...In view of Prophetic Biblical teachings, connected with major disastrous events, now occurring, and projected to worsen on a national and international scale over the next few years, strongly implies Jesus Christ will be standing on this earth in the year-2029. This is eight years from now, 2021. How quickly time flies!..."
    ******
The implication that "...Jesus Christ will be standing on this earth in the year-2029..." is as likely as was the prediction that: "...Jesus Christ will be standing on this earth in the year-1975..."

What happens at the end of that 1,000 year Mickey Mouse Millennium (Billingsley and Winnail and other hirelings of the former WCG still believe similarly)?

Revelation 20:1 "And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and [I saw] the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received [his] mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This [is] the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy [is] he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom [is] as the sand of the sea."

What about that time after the establishment of God's EVERLASTING kingdom on earth when families and nations exist where: "...neither shall they learn war any more...."? Isaiah 2:4

    Oh, and Micah 4:3!

Why would Jesus' God, Jesus' Father, send His Son to this earth in 2029, reign (in a Mickey Mouse fashion) for 1,000 years, and then that EVERLASTING kingdom failed, because Satan, having been released: "...shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle..."?

When will these hirelings of the former WCG "wake" up and realize that they need to revise their false (lukewarm?) theories about God's Gospel, and The God's Son and God's EVERLASTING kingdom when families/nations (Galatians 3:8; Genesis 12:3) will not learn war anymore?

    Time will tell...

    John
