Queen of Denial

I knew he didn't have any money (“The Work is at a crucial point.”)

Yeah that's why he couldn't buy me a ring (“It makes perfect sense to build a fall gathering place in Wisconsin out of sheet metal and concrete, but include no heating system.”)

Oh and just because he bought himself a brand new pickup truck (“Wow! A new private jet! God’s Apostle has to look good.”)

Really didn't prove anything (“If Stan Rader says the books are OK, then we don’t need to listen to the State of California. He was ordained an evangelist — while he was still wet from his baptism.”)

And he never had to say he loved me (“We aren’t just called for salvation, but rather to pay for his Work.”)

I could see it every time he smiled (“He looks so happy gallivanting around the world — with his disfellowshipped daughter.”)
