Samuel Kitchen: "Jesus Christ came in the flesh of Herbert W Armstrong"

New revelations by Samuel Kitchen:

1) Jesus came in the flesh of Herbert Armstrong:

Jesus Christ came in the flesh of Herbert W Armstrong. That is, through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, Christ worked in and through His servant and His apostle, Mr Herbert W Armstrong.

To teach people, that Christ is not in Herbert W Armstrong, and that the Worldwide Church of God is NOT the spiritual body of Christ, is the spirit of Antichrist, and not the Holy Spirit.

2) You cannot enter the Kingdom of God without following Herbert Armstrong's teachings:

"Everything we have received through the servant of the Lord, the apostle of Jesus Christ, Mr. Herbert W Armstrong, is FOR OUR PREPARATION. We cannot MARRY Jesus Christ, no can we enter the Kingdom of God without such PREPARATION!"

"So what we have received from Christ through Mr Armstrong, is necessary for our current TRAINING, QUALIFICATION, and PREPARATION as the Bride of Jesus Christ and to ENTER the Kingdom of God. If we neglect this preparation, we will NOT ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GOD!"
"A wrong attitude, and refusal to obey God, and refusal to apply the instruction given through the apostle, will leave you UNPREPARED for the Kingdom! And if you can’t enter the Kingdom, you wont go to a place of safety!
The promises and protection of God come to those INSIDE THE INNER COURT. They are going through their preparation!

So it BEHOOVES YOU TO PAY HEED! To repent, and BELIEVE! To be PREPARED! "

  1. Samuel isn't very original. PCG has for decades taught that Gerald Flurry now holds the title, "Christ in the flesh" just as HWA held it before his death. Push hard enough and you could probably get Bob Thiel and Dave Pack to acknowledge that they, too, hold the Biblical title of "Christ in the flesh."

  2. It's as if the ACOGs leaders are popes and gatekeepers of the kingdom.
The old WCG always taught under the table to worship the church and HWA.

    1. In 1980's within CGI, Herbert Armstrong and Tkach got openly called out as Pope's.
That the power and authority of the Pastor General role had been popified. It was a big deal.

  3. 1 John 4:1-3
“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
“Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
“And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.”

    Verse 6-
“We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.”

    1. I've said for many years, both as myself and as anonymous, that Armstrongites are in for a lot of surprises when Jesus gets here. They're going to see people in the Kingdom they would never have expected to be there, and will be forced to cut loose some of the most cherished "doctrines" they learned from Herbie.

In fairness, there will probably be surprises for everyone. Just more catastrophic ones for Armstrong's disciples.

  4. In the flesh huh, No wonder why they keep worshiping the man.

  5. In one breath, Armstrongite ministers tell us same-sex marriage is a vile and grievous sin, then in the next breath they say they look forward to marrying Jesus Christ. Go figure!

  6. Well this is a bit of a stretch. Our believer forbearers were inspired and guided by God through the Holy Spirit, as we are today. But no one would say they were The Christ Jesus in the flesh. I don't recall Mr. Armstrong ever making such a blasphemous claim of himself like that.

    1. 9.02, Herb never publicly made the claim that he was Christ. But that's the outer face of the church. Inside the church, it was different. Ministers often reverently quoted him rather than the bible. His name was mentioned more often than Christ's. When in an Asian country for the FOT, the local minister rebuked me for dancing with an Asian women. He quoted Herb rather than the bible on the matter. The church culture was that Herb was in effect Christ, with plausible deniability to outsiders.

  7. Somehow, I never imagined I would be thought of as being the AntiChrist for believing Deut. 18:21-22. That scripture is our protection against false prophets like Herbert W. "1975" Armstrong, the original crown stealer.
