And the righteous aura those points project. Just like Satan portraying himself as an angel of light. At least Herbie had it right when he said people don't mature, they just learn to cover up. Dave has mastered it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-226103369043606765.post-33015360052544683402016-05-27T23:06:04.511-07:002016-05-27T23:06:04.511-07:00Excellent advice BB, well said and done.

Basically, I went to California to escape "childrearing "God's" way" in 1966, and the Beach Boys depiction of the So.Cal. surfing and hotrodding scene had been heavy on my mind during high school. As I've mentioned before, I had planned to "use"
Ambassador College to escape into the Southern California underground surfing and hotrodding scene. Unfortunately, when I finally arrived in Pasadena, I discovered that that was yesterday's news. Everybody had gone hippie, so I had to go it alone, pursuing my interests approximately two to three years after they had passed on the West Coast scene.

When I finally met up with one of the Beach Boys, Mike Love, in the early '80s, I expressed to him that I was worried about his cousin Brian. Mike reassured me that what had happened to Dennis would not happen to Brian, because the group had him under the care of Dr. Landy, 24-7. Well, the ACOGs were not the only place where bad mistakes were made, because we all know how the therapy of Dr. Landy turned out for Brian.

Fortunately, good triumphed over bad. Although Brian's parents had not been members of the WCG or an ACOG, and though his Dad, Murray, had worked him over with a 2x4, causing permanent hearing loss in one ear, enough good people were looking after him that he was able to conquer the problems that had plagued him, and to complete his most ambitious project ("Smile"), and to present it to the world to admiring acclaim, and to be acknowledged for the genius that he always was, albeit flawed as are all of the rest of us.

What really matters? Well, it certainly is not the ACOGs! It is Father God, and the people who are really watching out for us, in spite of the very bad detours that all
of us have taken into Armstrongism! As St. John stated, nothing can separate us from the love of God (not even the Armstrongite ministers!)

My advice to all those who have been ensnared by Armstrongism is to reexamine everything from scratch. Do your due diligence. Don't take anything for granted. Fear is a powerful thing! Be dispassionate in your final analysis. Don't let "them" determine your final destiny. I'm thinking that he has attracted some mighty desperate and awfully compliant individuals!

The prophecy regarding all of the ex-COGlodytes flocking to RCG had to be damage control so that all who had heeded "Clarion Call" would believe at least for a while longer that the sacrifice of their financial future would soon pay off, bigtime.

Sorry, folks! You've been Madoffed. And, since this falls within the free practice of religion, there is no recourse! Does all things in common mean that if you now have no money for groceries you get to eat at Dave's house?
