PCG: Another Young Person Dies Due To Abhorrent Church Doctrines

This is the disgusting legacy that the Church of God movement will always have tarnishing its already sick reputation when it comes to the use of medical help. The needless loss of life of hundreds, if not thousands of people over the decades due to the aberrant teachings of Herbert Armstrong and his illegitimate progeny lording themselves of today's splinter groups regarding the use of the medical profession is appalling. Sadly, it is always the members who suffer and never the leadership or the ministry since they all tend to make regular use of doctors.

Teen-Age Girl in PCG Dies:
April 14, 2024
I was devastated to hear about Kaitlyn Michelle Davis, the 19 year old unbaptized girl in PCG from North Carolina, who died of health issues. She evidently did not go see a doctor. She had struggled with health issues for several years and which gradually worsened. Finally her health took a “sudden turn for the worse” After “counseling” with the ministry, she decided she “wanted her life totally in God’s hands” and so she put her faith in God to heal her. Her health deteriorated and her pain became severe until she eventually died last October. The funeral service was held by Wik Heerma. She leaves behind a mother and two younger sisters. I wish these Armstrong cults that are scamming, deceiving and causing people’s lives to be cut short would be investigated and shut down! –[name withheld] Exit and Support Network

PCG Member Goes To Doctor BEFORE Getting Anointed - Has To Repent And Ask God For Forgiveness

The Philadelphia Church of God posted a letter from a member in the members-only section of their website the following:

PCG's eternally pissed-off god was not happy that this person decided to go to the Doctor FIRST instead of getting anointed, so it had one more lesson to teach this person:

Magical god and magical phone calls from the minister. Powerful!

Then, the person has to ask the minister for permission to get a second opinion. No minister in any COG has the right to expect members to ask for permission to see a doctor or for any other decision, especially when it comes to health matters.

Divine healing, misdiagnosis, or the body correcting itself, it's hard to say. The problem with this article lies in the fact that this person thought they were turning their back on their god by going to the doctor first instead of to the minister.

The number of licensed doctors in Armstrongism is probably around .5 - 1% and that's being generous. No minister in any COG has the qualifications to tell a member what to do with their health issues.

The crazy belief that God is not going to heal you because you went to a doctor first is absurd. If you are going to ask the minister to anoint you while in the hospital then ask for God to guide the hands of the doctors as they perform their necessary duties.

Herbert Armstrong surrounded himself with doctors for many years and relied upon them. Many in the church woke up when they witnessed the unnecessary deaths of Richard Armstrong and Loma Armstrong. Letting the bullheadedness of Herbert destroy two lives was a wake-up call. Rod Meredith then stoked the fire more when he went to the doctor to correct an eye issue.

Like most things in Armstrongism, the leadership did the opposite of what the members were expected to do. You can be guaranteed that Gerald Flurry, Lil'Stevie, and all the grandkids make regular use of doctors when needed.

The COG Battle Over Translating: PCG Leaves Bob Thiel Whimpering In The Dust

It is always so fun watching various COG groups go around thumping their chests that they are the greatest ever to do the work that the mother church failed at. Even the mighty works of Herbert Armstrong, whom they worship daily at their altars, pale in comparison to how awesome they are doing today in 2024, particularly when it comes to translating church literature.

The one we hear the loudest crowing from is the Great Bwana Bob Mzungu Thiel, the greatest Church of God leader since Paul and James walked this earth. He has been honking his little horn weekly in his member letter on how many translations his improperly named "continuing" Church of God puts out. However, most people take that with a grain of salt after he was exposed for using a fraudulent translation company.

How Dare ANYONE Criticize The Publication Of Bob Thiel's Book Into Over "1,000" Languages! HOW DARE YOU!

Translating The Most Important Book In The World

Enter into his picture the Philadelphia Church of God and its translations. As crazy and off the wall they are in doctrines, their translations have far more credibility than The Great Bwana Bob's paraphrases do.

Check out the PCG's recent translation conference they went to. Bob Thiel has been humiliated once again. (These are screenshots of the article sent by an anonymous source)

Neither group is doing humanity any favors by translating their heretical booklets and articles into hundreds of languages.

PCG Idiot Cal Culpepper: "A wife has to be a whore in the bedroom.”

When it comes to the Philadelphia Church of God cult and its absolutely crazy ministers you never know what kind of idiocy you will hear next, especially when it comes from the mouth of Cal Culpepper. When Culpepper was in Pasadena as a student he wasn't known to the the brightest bulb in the pack. Conceited, arrogant, and very narcissistic are the only words to describe him. Sadly these are the kind of fools that the church tended to steer towards ordination.

Shocking Words Cal Culpepper Told My Kids:
March 26, 2024
This was told to me by my daughter and ex-son in law as was told to them by Cal Culpepper and Greg Nice in a so called counseling session with Culpepper and Nice.

Culpepper told my kids, “A wife has to be a whore in the bedroom.” Upon uttering this, Greg Nice got huge eyes but later told my kids, “I don’t remember him saying such a thing.” And Culpepper stated, “This is from Gerald Flurry himself.”

At the time my kids told me this, I was totally convinced this so called “church” is actually another one of Satan’s cults! Shortly after this, Cal Culpepper kicked my kids out of the cult (“church”) and fortunately my daughter is thrilled to not be in it any more, but my idiot ex-son-in-law still sends in well over $3000 a month in tithes (buying his way back in) would be my guess. PCG: “Christ could have sinned.” and “the Father could have been alone for eternity.”

The Philadelphia Church of God continues to plumb the depths of doctrinal heresy that forever cements them in Church of God history as a genuine anti-Christian cult. There is nothing godly or Christian about Flurryism.

Check this story out that was posted on Exit and Support Network:

Mark Hyde Gives Blasphemous Singles Bible Study:
March 17, 2024

PCG (just like WCG did) always gives a sermon about Christ before Passover, but it’s a Christ they really don’t know.

A dragged out and mind numbing 1 hour and 18 minute singles Bible Study was given by Mark Hyde on March 16 about “Evaluating your God Family Focus.” Below are a few notes I took from this blasphemous sermon.

“Herbert Armstrong represented God the Father to us (when he was alive), but now “Gerald Flurry represents God the Father.”

We are here to become God and expand His family.”

Hyde went over much of Isaiah 53 ( a prophecy about Jesus) but ignorantly he claimed that when God saw His Son crucified that “there was great risk in that” because “Christ could have sinned.” and “the Father could have been alone for eternity.” But it was “worth the risk so that we would have a chance at eternal life.”

What absolute blasphemy! Refer to Jesus Two Natures which proves Jesus was fully God and fully man and never could have sinned. He willingly took the sins of the whole world upon Himself and endured the cross for the joy that was set before him. (Hebrews 12:2)

Going on, some of the other things Hyde said:

“How much do you think about building the God family?”

He talked about living a life of sacrifice spiritually and physically, or we “will get our minds on ourselves.”

He emphasized more than once how God gave up everything for us and what a risk it was.

He said those who have their mind on the “God Family Vision” will “fight to avoid sin.” He said Christ sweated blood “to keep from sinning.” And, “Would we we fight like that?”

Quoted from John 1:1. Hyde said,

“They (God and Jesus) were two Beings but it was almost like they were one because they were so focused.” (Refer to: The Two Natures of Jesus which shows Jesus was very God and very man.)

“We need to have that kind of unity.” “That requires prayer and study and fasting.”

He ended by quoting various verses on unity, even quoting HWA.

“We can’t be unified this way on our own, we can’t combat sin on our own.”

He told how on “Feb 4, 1984 HWA gave a sermon on unity” (after he put the church “back on track”). At that time HWA proclaimed, “There is going to be unity in the church!” “We must not let unity be destroyed by another spirit.

Hyde tied that in with submitting to “God’s government” which is “the love of God in action.” He said, “God must be really excited when we come together to support the Work.”

He said,

“Do your relationships with one another reflect more of an unconverted high school approach? Or do they reflect the converted approach filled with their Father’s God Family Vision?”

“If we’re all brutally honest, we see where Satan is trying to spin us into the first approach…”

“Gossip and backbiting are things we need to avoid; jealousy and envy.”

“Let’s get our minds on God’s Work and off self.” “Let’s give our lives to the God Family Vision and yearn for a family as God does.”

One who has their focus on the God Family Vision lives a life of sacrifice.” “They will be motivated to fight like Christ to avoid sin. To go to the Father and ask for help.”

One can’t help but become outraged when listening to a sermon like this, seeing how they are rejecting the finished work of Christ on the cross of Calvary. ESN has shown on their site that eternal life is a free gift and all our sins have been forgiven once and for all. The tragedy is that PCG ministers are teaching these lies to their youth. –Critiqued by AJW

PCG: Did Dennis Leap Actually Say This With A Straight Face?

The Church of God's decades-long drought of prophetic accuracy has never stopped its poorly trained theologians from weighing in on other people's predictions.

In the latest issue of PCG's The Trumpet, they have an article up on the craziness of "blood moons" myths occupying the minds of prophecy addicts both in and outside of Armstrongism. It is written by Dennis Leap who is not known for being theologically grounded in his understanding.

In Leap's article, he mocks John Hagee and Marck Blitz on their blood moon obsession. Leap has this to say:

Although the two men leave themselves an out—using the words could and possibly—when reading their books and surfing their websites, it is clear that both are convinced they are on to something big prophetically.

Well, if that isn't the pot calling the kettle black! Just look at today's crop of lying COG false prophets, particularly the Great Bwana Bob Mzungu Thiel. Those two words and "maybe" are spoken more than the name Jesus ever is. It is almost like all COG false prophets went to the same school to learn how to say, "could be, maybe, and possibly" every time they open their theologically bankrupt mouths.

While one might applaud their interest in Bible prophecy, can you prove the truth about what they are saying and publishing?

When have Gerald Flurry, Bob Thiel, Dave Pack and Ron Weinland EVER spoken the truth in a sermon or published in an article? Don't condemn the world when your own households are pig-slop troughs of misinformation!

History is chock full of people’s prognostications that proved to be profitless.

History has proven Armstrongism to be prophetless and at the same time profitable for raking in the money as they scare people to death.

Toward the end of his article, he has this:

It is a historical fact that God has always worked through a human being to tell people what He was going to do on Earth. God is faithful to reveal His secrets to those people truly serving Him (Amos 3:7). He then requires those people to share that message with anyone willing to listen (verse 8).

How can it be Gerald DLurry when we are supposed to believe that the Great Bwana Bob Mzungu Thiel is the chosen one?

Judging by the Old and New Testaments, it would be strange if God didn’t have someone delivering His prophetic message today (Acts 3:24). It would also be strange not to have multitude of false prophets around.

The Church of God currently has almost 88 years filled with a multitude of lying false prophets.

The major sects of organized Christianity cannot help you understand prophecy. Most of today’s so-called Christian leaders reject Bible history and prophecy as an exercise in futility. Few even believe in the return of Jesus Christ and the end of this age. That is the main reason you will not hear sermons on prophecy in the great cathedrals and churches of the Western world.

The major sects of Armstrongism cannot help you understand prophecy. They have lied to us and continue to lie to us with their own futile interpretations. There is not a single sermon preached or an article written in any of the COG's on prophecy that anyone can take with a grain of salt. It is impossible to do so.

Those scattered voices that do focus on prophecy do not agree on what specific prophecies mean. And as we can see, they rely on their own reasoning rather than on Jesus Christ and the Bible to interpret God’s prophecies.

With well over 400 splinter groups of Armstrongism out there you will find over 400 different interpretations of prophecy.

Yet, just as He always has, Christ is delivering God’s prophetic message through His true Church today—the Church He founded and promised would never die (Matthew 16:18). He challenges you to find out whom He is using—who is interpreting the prophecies of the Bible using the Bible.

Truth never died or was lost 1800 years ago and then was suddenly found in an Oregon library.

“Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation,” warned Peter (verse 20). Be careful what you read prophetically. Believe God and His Word, rather than giving heed to some man who thinks he knows. Then you will be able to follow Jesus Christ’s admonition with absolute confidence, “And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh” (Luke 21:28)

Be careful what you read from any Church of God self-appointed false prophet when it comes to so-called prophetic understanding. There is no need for prophets anymore in the church. That era closed down centuries ago on Calvary.

Crackpot Prophet Says It Is Not Safe To Reject A True Prophet Of God And Those That Do So Are Lazy

The world's GREATEST and most ACCURATE prophet to ever self-appoint himself in the history of humanity had a tizzy fit today over Gerald Flurry's latest crap on Donald Trump. Flurry has for years been making all kinds of predictions about Trump that have never come to pass. In like manner, so as has our most highly favored second son of God, the Great Bwana of Africa and 100 occasional Caucasians, who is destined to reign on the right-hand side of Christ at some future date. Both have ended up being certified liars.

After blabbering for quite some time, the Great Bwana Bob Mzungu Thiel had this to say for all of you pathetic losers who still  REFUSE to acknowledge him as a real true prophet of God. Bad Laodiceans! Bad LAZY Laodiceans! Bad! Bad! Bad!

"Now, most end-time Christians do not believe that they are lazy, but wise."

Sitting in his damp musty office while still playing the suffering martyr for the truth, the Great Bwana Bob shows his anger once again:

While Christians should heed true prophets and not despise prophecies (1 Thessalonians 5:20, PCG’s Gerald Flurry has again been proven to have spoken presumptuously.

He and PCG remain wrong in their view of Amos 7 and many other matters.

Those who have enough of “the love of the truth” (2 Thessalonians 2:10) should clearly be able to see that Gerald Flurry is NOT God’s prophet, but a false one.

People associated with PCG should believe the Bible about false prophets as Gerald Flurry has clearly made false predictions.

And even if Donald Trump becomes USA president again, Gerald Flurry has been proven false about his predictions about Amos 7.

TWO WRONGS DO NOT MAKE A RIGHT!

The existence of false prophets does NOT excuse not supporting a real one.

Consider that the Book of Proverbs warns:

16 The lazy man is wiser in his own eyes Than seven men who can answer sensibly. (Proverbs 26:16)

Now, most end time Christians do not believe that they are lazy, but wise.

Yet, they overlook evidence because they are uncomfortable with the idea that there could now be a prophet that they should heed.

It is NOT safer to reject a true prophet because there are many false ones.

Oh, Great Bwana Bob Mzungu - you are NOT a true prophet of God. You have never been one and never will be one. You are as big of a liar as Gerald Flurry is.

Restored Church of God: "All Is Not Well In Wadsworth"

A Cautionary Tale

The Restored Church of God is a mere shadow of what it once was, thanks to the corrosive narcissism of Pastor General David C. Pack. His inept mismanagement and insatiable desire to prove he is God's mouthpiece have driven the once-thriving religious organization into dark financial waters.

All is not well in Wadsworth.

For decades, the abusive conditions at Headquarters were kept secret behind locked doors. Former ministers privately tell harrowing tales of manipulation, coercion, deception, puppeteering, and back-stabbing. The wrong types of people thrive on the Campus now, jockeying for positions of authority while walking on the backs of the brethren.

The Restored Church of God operates in a growing religious police state. Brethren snitch on other brethren. Field mollusks enforce edicts from Headquarters that betray their conscience to save their own skin and win favor with the powers that subjugate them. Eager enablers in Wadsworth leap at the chance to prop up their human idol, David C. Pack.

It is hard to fathom how this organization touts itself as the one-and-only “God’s True Church” on earth today. The Restored Church of God claims it has all “the truth” and holds to the traditions and teachings of Herbert W. Armstrong of The Worldwide Church of God. Yet, as the Series rolls towards its ninth year, RCG looks less like WCG and more like PCG.

Some believe the entire modern Church of God system was bankrupt from the start, and even the "golden age" of WCG was just a front for a clever marketing man who found a niche for creating a self-insulating “government is everything” system to capitalize on.

My good friend Peter Baerg is a former RCG member who lives in Canada. He found this video of Herbert W. Armstrong on YouTube. You can see where David C. Pack attained his preaching style.

Monkey see. Monkey do.

During “The Greatest Unending Story! (Part 493)” on February 17, 2024, David C. Pack made massive changes to the Plan of God structure. 1-7-1000 was replaced with 4-100-1000. That was the less compelling content.

If exrcg.org has proven anything, it is that Pastor General David C. Pack of The Restored Church of God is a hypocritical, blaspheming liar, false prophet, false apostle, and false teacher. God is not using him to end the Mystery of God. He is not and will never be Elijah. He is not the Branch.

David C. Pack is not moved by the Holy Spirit to teach revealed knowledge from God to His people about the soon-coming Kingdom of God. If that statement is false, I have again committed the unpardonable sin.

His opening statement during Part 493 exposed a verbal fraud.

Part 493 – February 17, 2024
@ 00:10 Well, we’re down from when we used to have messages twice a week to once every two weeks. So, that’s a little better.

This is a manipulative spin throwing shade on the unannounced two-week gap. The change in speaking cadence was not planned or intended to be “a little better,” but he tries to frame it that way.

Flashback Part 492 – February 3, 2024
@ 1:29:11 And you'd rather see the Kingdom than me up here anymore. But you now (at least) have an advanced summary of what could be covered if we’re here next Sabbath. I'll speak next Sabbath, and that'll be the way it is.

But two weeks later, the Kingdom picture changed, and he did not explain the Sixth King, how there are two different 144,000s, that third tithe begins at the Feast of Tabernacles, and what God's Holy Temple really is. Only fools take David C. Pack at his word. None of that was covered in Part 493.

Let his own words expose who and what he is.

The more David C. Pack molests his own delusions, the more he departs from what he learned fifty years ago in Pasadena, California. Buy Dennis Diehl or Gary Leonard a beer and ask them what they think about the value of an Ambassador College education. Hilarity will ensue.

The theological heyday of The Worldwide Church of God holds no warm place in David C. Pack’s heart. He dismantles its doctrinal integrity brick by brick while performing political theater by publicly kissing Herbert W. Armstrong’s ring.

I wonder if Dave privately resents having to fake his continued respect to avoid upsetting the “old timers” slowly dying in their chairs. After all, they could be sitting on life insurance or inheritance funds that are promised to RCG if they “die in the faith.” He must be careful not to upset the WCG Legacy apple cart.

Part 493 – February 17, 2024
@ 1:52:23 I just, you know, I guess we were prophetically dyslexic. [chuckles] We put the hundred after the thousand. But Mr. Armstrong was a great servant of God. He saw the 1335 but said it's gotta be the Eighth Head. And believed he was Elijah. So we're not very far away from that picture, are we? Pretty close. Pretty close.

They call that "lip service," and it is ironically comical on a few levels. One could argue that Catholics are "pretty close" if that is the yardstick Dave measures with.

Herbert W. Armstrong was wrong about being Elijah, about the Eighth Head, and the 1335 of Daniel 12. How does that make him "a great servant of God?" If anything, it makes him a great arrogant fool. What kind of lunatic wrongly believes he is in the Bible? ::wink wink:: Dave.

According to The Restored Church of God, HWA got more things wrong about prophecy than he got right. How does that make him "a great servant" of anything? He is so great, RCG scrubs their books, booklets, and videos from their websites that reference most of what WCG once stood for.

Since Herbie proclaimed God was using him to preach the “good news of the coming Kingdom of God” and was utterly deceived on that front, would that not mean he was also a false apostle who served a lying god?

@ 1:52:50 And I thought you’d wanna hear that about the man who is, for some of you, your Father in the Gospel. I’m not. He’s mine.

David C. Pack knows how to play politics by pandering to his audience. Not of the world, indeed.

With the radical changes David C. Pack has made to the Gospel revealing WCG to be entirely in error, to be honest, he would have to refer to Herbert W. Armstrong as his "Father in Another Gospel." But honesty is not one of David C. Pack’s defining character traits.

@ 1:56:34 So many questions are answered. There is simplicity in Christ, brethren. There is an it’s it’s even simpler than what Worldwide taught. You just get these, you know, get these [4-100-1000] straightened out. A hundred and a thousand.

Yeah, but do not get too attached to that latest Kingdom structure. Heh heh.

Following the WCG Grand Pattern, Dave savors the taste of fantastic claims of imminent world calamity without the unfashionable threats of nuclear war tossed in.

@ 1:58:46 We live in a time of terrible news and dangerous times. I haven’t spent time. It wudden’t the purpose here, but we’re going into what I believe is breakout. I think it’s gonna be infinitely worse these next weeks than you can imagine.

The safest position on the planet is to be a David C. Pack contrarian. Based on his statement, rest assured that the opposite will prove to be more accurate. I would not be shocked if world peace and tranquility broke out with things being “infinitely better” within the next few weeks.

@ 2:04:25 But every day, it's getting worse.

I think Dave should turn off the news and head over to Netflix. I am loving the sixth season of “Love is Blind” and wish they would return to releasing the entire season all at once.

A former minister commented that “evangelist” Bradford G. Schleifer is not the man he used to be. I had the same observation, noting that Brad is just nasty now. He must have a deep-rooted bitterness that surfaces in ways he probably does not realize.

Poor Andrew Holcombe now looks older than me. And I have almost twenty years on the guy. Andy has an amazingly wonderful wife who still holds my professional respect. That whole situation makes me sad for them. And for the others who choose to remain in The Restored Church of Another god.

I lay those transformations at the feet of David C. Pack. The more in proximity you are to him, the quicker your mental and emotional state deteriorates. The man radiates crippling toxins.

There is an extensive “Angry Apostle” Playlist on YouTube, and Part 493 is now part of it.

The authentic David C. Pack steps forth from time to time to issue condemnations ex-cathedra. He is a blend of arrogance and insecurity blanketed in self-righteousness and victimhood.

@ 1:34:58 We got wicked people who attend with us. And they'll pa– they'll send this note out, and as I like to say, they're dead people walking.

Wicked people are those who allow the sermons to be released publicly. Hmm. How exactly is that wicked? If Dave is preaching the truths of God, what about “freely you have received, freely give?” I thought nobody owned the truth. Jesus said the Gospel should be preached into all the world as a witness. If what David C. Pack preaches is the good news, then how can distributing that good news be considered an unrighteous act?

It is because Dave knows remembering his own words makes him look bad. The entire exrcg.org website would come to a screeching halt if David C. Pack preached what the Bible really taught. Or if they caught the “leaker(s).”

The leaker(s) getting caught is more likely than David C. Pack ever preaching anything sincerely from the Bible. If it does not further his agenda, it is not worth teaching. He lets Mike and Frank cover that kind of fluff in their sermonettes.

@ 1:34:58 We got wicked people who attend with us. And they'll pa– they'll send this note out, and as I like to say, they’re dead people walking.

David C. Pack freely admitted he likes to say that. Eat my shorts, bro.

@ 1:35:08 ‘Cause God iddn’t gonna hold people back for four years and put ‘em to death. They’re gonna die quickly. I can name some names.

Are those the concerned words of a loving shepherd or a wolf?

David C. Pack is itching to name people he believes God will execute at the beginning of his imaginary kingdom. However, the Pastor General lacks the courage and moral fortitude to follow through with his convictions.

Little Davey making she-she in the toilet and not in his pants is all bark and no bite.

Hey Brad, I will donate $100 to RCG if you tell me what names Dave is referring to. I will absolutely donate $100 to your failing organization if you grant me that one tidbit of inside baseball. I would be willing to drive across the street to the Campus and hear those names in person so there is no paper trail for you to deny later.

Everyone now wants to know what names are on David C. Pack’s Marked-For-Death List.

@ 1:35:19 So, I realize this message is gonna get out. And it’s gonna probably cause some trouble.

Part 493 is no more or less stupid than all the others. I have no idea what kind of "trouble" paranoid Dave is referring to. Trouble for who cause by whom? That will remain one of the mysteries locked behind the gates of The Restored Church of Another god.

After Dave was warmed up by his vague death threats spoken on his god’s behalf, he was ready to assassinate the character of another former minister.

In December 2023, Vidal Wachuku was fired and smeared via email. In January 2024, two field ministers resigned of their own accord. I served with both men at Headquarters and am delighted at their departure.

I will not name who they are. They have a platform to do so if they want to tell their stories publicly. I understand that they and their families are beginning a healing journey, and casting stones as they walk away is not how I roll.

Those who know them know who they are. Those in the Ex-RCG private Facebook group know who they are. Despite identifying them by name in previous articles, I always liked both of them personally.

From the information I received about this next story and given David C. Pack’s long-standing penchant for stretching the bounds of truth, take his words with a shaker of salt. At worst, it is riddled with flat-out lies that are up to the man and his wife to refute. At best, it is a gross distortion of the facts by omitting key elements that obscure proper context.

@ 1:59:09 Stay close to God. I wanna tell you a cautionary tale. It wudden't, you know, too long ago, but a while back, we were working with a minister. He'd been on a stipend. He had his own job. 'Cause people can just absolute live a lie and just brazenly steal and lie from the church. …and said he needed a stipend to be able to make ends meet. So, we gave him a stipend. And didn't check his tithe record. And for two years, he didn't tithe a dime on his own income or what we gave him. Then, we took his stipend back. We were, that's what brought this out. And eventually, he said, "I made a conscious decision two years ago not to tithe." He knew it was a law of God. His exact words. "I made a conscious decision two years ago not to tithe. I knew I would be caught, and I knew there were consequences." Do you know what he was calling and asking for? Hoping we wouldn't catch him so we could steal and lie more? This minister? He was asking for third tithe, "So I don't have to tithe on it." He it and hoping we wouldn't check. So, we checked and found out. And that outrageous lying thief of a man who no one could possibly tell was a minister.

@ 2:01:20 That man sold his eternal life knowing he was stealing, hoping he could steal third tithe at the end of it and remain a minister. And I'm telling you, if you met him, you'd say it's not possible that it's true. But it is true.

David C. Pack is a documented hypocritical, blaspheming liar. He has been spinning heretical tall tales for over eight years, ever-changing the story of what his god revealed to him. Keep that in mind when that very same man declares what is true or not.

Personally, I stand with the former minister and his family on this. The details I received paint a very different picture than what Dave presents. Let God judge between them.

There is no point for Dave to give a cautionary tale without inserting the money angle.

@ 2:01:37 So I'm telling you, some people are afraid to sell all. They won't. They don't have the faith. I'm telling you, you got 51 days. If you are sitting on funds, extra houses, or cash, you are commanded by God to sell all. Or, at best, you will face four years of sore trial.

RCG’s Business and Accounting Office knows that the man and his wife already “sold all,” which is what put them in the financial peril they are working to get out of TODAY. That is how their faith was rewarded.

@ 2:01:59 Now, I’m I don’t mean to be strong ‘cause I don’t need it. The church is doing fine. But you need to do it.

The church is doing SO fine, they announced layoffs of some of the Headquarters ministers and their wives in June. Dave discontinued the release year for third tithe in November and instructed everyone to pay it monthly. They stopped paying the field ministry in mid-December. Then, a “Pretty please, send in your tithe of tithe right now” notice went out to the brethren. Notifications of fundraisers still appear in Member Services.

That does not sound like the church is doing fine.

Dave added, “But you need to do it,” as a show of outward love and concern for his fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. He does not have the massive Campus bills on his mind. Nope, it is all about wanting more brethren to make it into the God Family.

@ 2:02:14 The first thing is sell that you have. The rich young ruler wouldn’t do it. And some brethren won’t do it. Now, the best that can happen for such people who've been told blew it off, the best that can happen is they get four years, and they will not escape in the end of the four years.

@ 2:02:54 They ignored God's command. Don't do it. Don't do it. I did it, and others did it. Many have paid that their Common and their lives have been fine.

Well, except for the recent former minister, whom Dave just accused of lying and stealing.

And let us not forget the faithful sacrifice of Manon Chaisson before she died.

The occurrences in The Restored Church of God are a cautionary tale for those seeking the refuge of God’s True Church. Where it is today is the real mystery, but what is clear is that it does not have a Worldwide Headquarters based in Wadsworth, Ohio.

David C. Pack cannot sit still or shut his mouth for an extended time. The prophetic picture constantly shifts with blame fingers pointed in every direction except the Pastor General.

The organization is spiritually corrupt, supporting vile doctrines based upon perverting the Scriptures.

For those inside looking for a way out: You are not alone. Life goes on quite nicely, post Mr. Pack.

For those outside pondering if they should enter: Listen to the words of David C. Pack and allow him to reveal what you should do.

Ignore all these cautionary tales to your own peril.

Crackpot Prophet Says Just Because All The Other COG False Prophets Are Wrong Does Not Mean You Can Ignore Me

All of the static electricity in the air with the recent thunderstorms and rain we have been having in California seems to have fried the brain of our most illustrious, self-appointed, doubly blessed, world-renowned authority on everything, the Great Bwana to Africa and the occasional 100 Caucasians. He is back today blessing us with his pithy comments.

After reading the things I posted about Alton Billingsley HERE on this blog, he decided to quote the exact same things I did, then added more comments about other self-appointed false prophets, both in the Church of God and in the pagan, heathen, unconverted, world.

As usual, his main go-to source for information is WorldNetDaily, a favorite of some of the prophecy addicts in the Church of God movement.

The Great Bwana Bob Mzungu writes:

Though World Net Daily often has items of interest, it has a history of promoting false prophets.

WTH???? Seriously dude, take a look at Armstrongism and its hundreds and hundreds of splinter groups and the certified liars that fill its ranks, from now-deceased so-called evangelists, ministers, and other prophecy addicts masquerading as loyal mouthpieces of God to today's raving lunatics! Considering your history of lies it is pretty hypocritical to accuse others outside of Armstrongism or in the church of being false prophets considering your abysmal record!

Earlier this week, it pushed Jonathan Cahn again. Cahn is a Messianic Jew who has repeatedly been wrong about blood moons, Shemitah years, and other matters (e.g. ‘Warning Signs of America’s Destruction – Jonathan Cahn’).

Now, World Net Daily is calling a Protestant minister, who I have denounced here multiple times, Mark Biltz a biblical expert:

Biblical expert: Solar eclipse to mark ‘beginning of judgment upon America’

April’s total darkness will be ‘a uniquely powerful sign from God,’ says author-pastor

February 19, 2024

ISRAEL – An unusual total solar eclipse that will traverse North America in April has some biblical experts pointing to a deeper significance of the event, especially in light of today’s extremely unsettled times.

With a deep understanding of classical Jewish and Christian sources, Pastor Mark Biltz of El Shaddai Ministries is sharing his insights into the upcoming solar eclipse that will take place on Monday, April 8, 2024. …

“From a biblical point of view, a solar eclipse is meant to be a sign from God,” said Biltz, …

“If you refer to NASA’s data, there’s been a total of 12,000 total solar eclipses all over the world listed over a 5,000-year time period,” said Biltz. …

Pastor Biltz was puzzled by the appearance of four blood moons in 2014-2015. If the celestial events were signs, what did the blood moons signify? In an epiphany, he realized that the celestial signs were part of a much larger cycle based in the Hebrew calendar. The Hebrew year that began on Rosh Hashanah in September 2014 marked the beginning of a seven-year Shemitah (sabbatical) cycle.

“This is not a random seven-year cycle,” Biltz emphasized. “Rosh Hashanah in 2014 marked the beginning of the Hebrew year 5775. The Shemittah years all go back to Creation. If you divide 5775 by 7, it is precisely 825. September 2014, or, more accurately, the first of Tishrei 5775, was the 825th Shemittah cycle since God created the world.”

After connecting the blood moons to the Shemitah cycle, Biltz realized they had prophetic significance: They came as a sign to herald war. …

According to the world's most PERFECT  'christian', Mark Blitz is a Protestant and as everyone in Armstrongism knows about Protestants. he is NOT a real Church of God Christian.

Both Mark Biltz, Jonathan Cahn, and WND’s founder Joseph Farah consider themselves to be ‘Messianic Jews.’ While this means that they will avoid biblically unclean meats, keep the Sabbath, observe the biblical holy days, and hold to parts of a few Church of God doctrines, the Messianics are NOT Church of God Christians. Like the Seventh-day Adventists, they are basically a type of Protestant.

The Great Bwana Mzungu of Africa and the occasional 100 Caucasians then moves on to Alton Billingsley.

Now, there are also COG-associated leaders who make wrong predictions. Church of God Faithful Flock’s Don Billingsley was promoting nonsense like Hillary Clinton would be president now, that Donald Trump would remain in office, and other such nonsense.

He is also wrong about many other things. Notice something he wrote in a post:

The Ezekiel WATCHMAN

“Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful Day of the LORD!”

Malachi 4:5; Matthew 17:10-11

Alton B. (Don) Billingsley

The Immanency of the Coming of Jesus Christ …:
In view of Prophetic Biblical teachings, connected with major disastrous events, now occurring, and projected to worsen on a national and international scale over the next few years, strongly implies Jesus Christ will be standing on this earth in the year-2029. …
They also make known this nation is in mortal danger of being destroyed, as a nation, along with Britain, and other nations of Israel, in the year 2026 … Prophesied to be destroyed by a super-power far greater than America.
Though it has not yet appeared, it is prophesied to be fully developed by the year-2024https://www.cog-ff.com/ezekiel.html accessed 02/20/24

No, none of that is right. 2029 is simply too early for Jesus to be able to return by then.

Because there are many false and heretical leaders that lead people astray on prophecy and sometimes they mention the Bible to try to act like God sanctions their nonsense, they should be denounced as false.

Pot calling the kettle black, again! The hypocrisy of the Great Bwana knows no ends.

While that has been appropriate for those I have denounced, sadly most end time Christians have been self-satisfied and/or relied on the dismissal of others to overlook what God’s word says God would be doing at this time related to prophets.

Oh my! Apparently, all COG members have relied upon the Great Bwana Bob Mzungu to tell them who and who are not real prophets in the church and are now befuddled as to who is right! I guess they have thrown Bob out of the door along with all the other COG lying false prophets. Such a tragedy!

To counter this shocking trend, the Great Bwana Bob Mzungu has to trot of Norm Edwards as some kind of authority on prophets in the Church of God. Seriously dude, Edwards was already being discredited as a whack job BEFORE the Worldwide Church of God ever broke up. Norm is just like you in that you both set yourselves up as authorities on subjects you know very little about.

Norman Edwards, a former employee of the old WCG and later a former board member of the old Global Church of God, wrote the following:

There are over 40 separate passages about prophets and their prophecies in the New Testament—so many that one might easily get tired of reading them! … If we want God to show us what will happen in the future, we need to “desire earnestly to prophesy” (1 Cor 14:39). It is a New Testament teaching we must not ignore! …

Do people today have faith that God is able to prophecy through people …?

1Jo 4:1-2 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God,

Note: If there were no true prophets, there would be no need to “test the spirits”—because every prophet would be a “false prophet”. But because there are both true prophets and false prophets, we need to “test the spirits”. (Edwards N. Need Prophets More than Prophecy. Shepherd’s Voice, Fall 2013)

The Great Bwana Bob Mzungu Thiel needs to continually trot out Edwards as PROOF that he and he alone is the one true prophet of the Church of God today.

The Great Bwana Bob Mzungu knows that he has been lumped in alongside all of the other lying Church of God false prophets over the last 8 decades. Church members understand this and even a lot of people in the public understand this.  This is a sore spot that the Great Bwana is unable to shake off. Since 99.99% of the COG has completely ignored him he has to resort to the blame game. Since it is the only REAL one in the church, members need to be supporting him. He then proceeds to call out those who do not support him as LAZY and UNWISE.

The Great Bwana then has to drag in Leroy Neff as proof that he and he alone exhibits all the qualifications to be a prophet:

Back in 1986, then WCG evangelist L. Leroy Neff (now deceased) wrote a lot about how to identify a true prophet as well as what is not required:

How can you tell the impostor from the true servant of God? The answer will probably be quite surprising to many people because they are using an unscriptural basis for evaluation” …

What are the credentials?

Some people would look to a prophet’s or minister’s credentials. He would be accepted if he were educated at a recognized theological institution. Others would look for a minister’s popularity, his charisma, his personality or his speaking ability.

But the Scriptures show that God’s servants have sometimes not had these qualities or credentials. They were not graduates of the recognized theological institutions of their day. Moses had trouble speaking in public (Exodus 4: 10). Jeremiah was “too young” (Jeremiah 1:6). Paul lacked certain speech abilities (I Corinthians 2: 1, II Corinthians 10:10). Even Jesus Himself had no outstanding personal characteristics that set Him apart from others, as the religious leaders had to pay Judas to point Him (Matthew 26:47-49).

Some would expect to find a true minister or prophet in a large and beautiful church building. Yet, during the history of the early Church, there is no mention of church buildings. Instead we read that the Church was not a building at all, but the people who were called out of this world to become the Church. The people (the Church) met in various buildings, sometimes in Church members’ homes (Romans 16:5, I Corinthians 16:19, Philemon 2). Paul preached for two years while under house arrest in rented facilities. He probably had both living quarters and a meeting hall of some kind (Acts 28:30-31).

Jesus said His followers would not be many in number, but would be comparatively few: “Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom” (Luke 12:32). (Neff LL. Imposter–or–True Prophet — Which? Good News, December 1986, pp. 10-11)

There is a reason the Great Bwana has to quote Leroy Neff and that is because Neff said that some prophets do not need credentials, such as legitimate theological education or have a lot of followers. Given that Bwana Bob has a "diploma" out of a double-wide trailer in India, supposedly theology, a degree that has been thoroughly discredited by Gavin Rumney and others over the years.

A true prophet would not need to be from a major theological institution, have the most magnanimous personality, be charismatic, or have a necessarily impressive Church. He also does not have to have had a ministerial background. Nor does the prophet even, like apparently the Apostle Paul per 2 Corinthians 10:10 and 11:6 or Moses per Exodus 4:10 or Jeremiah per Jeremiah 1:6, need to be a great speaker. God chooses who His prophets are.

Yes, we know you have no real theology degree. We do know for a fact your personality is shockingly lacking in charisma, so much so that you come off as a sideshow and as a rather hilarious comedy routine at times.

Yes, God may pick a selection who were prophets, but we all know for a FACT that you are not appointed by God and that he had absolutely NOTHING to do with your self-appointed prophethood status. That is an indisputable fact. Besides, in the New Covenant, there is no need for prophets.

Then, the Great Bwana Bob Mzungu has to drag up his same old schtick about how he dreams dreams, AND that he wears the Philadelphia mantle, which in reality is just more COG crap theology.

The Apostle Peter stated:

17 ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. 18 And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy. (Acts 2:17-18)

Are these the last days?

If so, God should be using dreams and prophets.

Do you believe that?

All should REALLY pay attention to the Bible.

The apostles were confirmed by signs that followed them (Mark 16:20) and there have been signs that have confirmed the leadership of the Continuing Church of God. And the old Radio/Worldwide Church of God pointed to a dream that preceded its formation in becoming the group to originally hold the Philadelphia mantle.

He then continues to blackball all Church of God members and all Christians as fake because no one will follow him. Lobbing the Laodicean epitaph at COG members is just another scare tactic of desperate theologically bankrupt COG ministers. And, don't forget boys and girls, since you refuse to follow the Great Bwana Bob Mzungu you will NOT know when it is time to flee to Petra and be taught by him for 3 1/2 years.

Laodiceans are the bulk of end time Christians–not only are they NOT promised protection from what is coming, they are admonished by Jesus to repent. Yet, they feel that they are in need of nothing–which, in the case, includes the need to believe and heed any who claim to be a prophet.

Therefore, and this is the main point of my bringing church eras into this, IT WILL NOT BE CLEAR TO MOST END TIME CHRISTIANS THAT GOD HAS A PROPHET (OR PROPHETS) AND THAT THEY NEED TO HEED HIM WHEN HE GIVES THE MESSAGES THAT GOD WANTS GIVEN.

If so, all would know to flee when it is time and the Bible is clear that not all Christians would flee.

The absurdities by Great Bwana just get worse.  Apparently, he believes the creature he calls 'jesus' is knocking on the hearts of all COG members and ex-members to try and wake everyone up to the fact that the Great Bwana Bob Mzungu is the one true 21st century property!  See, I told you the absurdities were getting worse!

Recall that Jesus says He is knocking, yet the Laodiceans were not listening.

The Bible teaches:

1 Cry aloud, spare not; Lift up your voice like a trumpet; Tell My people their transgression, And the house of Jacob their sins. (Isaiah 58:1)

Isn’t that something a 21st century prophet would be doing?

Consider that multiple thousands of Church of God members, including the ministry, have heard warnings from places such as the COGwriter Church of God News page. Yet, the vast majority have failed to sufficiently respond to Jesus’ words about being Laodicean or what I post on that as well as other theological and prophetic subjects.

Since Jesus pointed to the last church of Revelation 2 & 3 needing to repent, plus only promised the Philadelphian Christians protection from the coming hour of trial, plus we know from what the Apostle Peter said there would be prophets in the last days, and that the last generation Jesus spoke of in Matthew 24 would see the return of Jesus in the 21st century, how would God appoint a 21st century prophet?

The Great Bwana's so-called 'jesus' is so ticked off with everyone ignoring the one true 21st century prophet that he is no longer going to send a sign due to the fact everyone is evil and adulterous.

Would He do some dramatic miracle to make it clear to all end time Christians?

No.

Jesus also refused to do a dramatic one on more than one ocassion when pressed to prove who He was (Matthew 12:38). He then said:

“An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign” (Matthew 12:39)

Constantly being stung by the fact that the entire Church of God movement ignores him and calls him out as a self-appointed false prophet, the Great Bwana Bob Mzungu has to use any means he can to support his self appointment, even if it means dragging out Jesus when he thinks it would sound good to do so.

More crap COG theology:

Interestingly, the old Radio and Worldwide Church of God taught that God used dreams and would in the last days, yet most in the COGs today seem not to accept that.

Jesus said that a true prophet will basically self-declare:

40 “He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me. 41 He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward. (Matthew 10:40-41)

Yes, if you can accept a true prophet who declares he is a prophet, yes, you can get the reward of a prophet.

Then, the best part of all in his article, he lashes out at Banned, Terry Nelson, and Gavin Rumney for constantly making him look like a fool! Delightful! We wear that badge with honor!

Yet, throughout history, people said bad things about God’s prophets (e.g. Jeremiah 43:1-7).

Jesus said:

11 Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. 12 Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. (Matthew 5:11-12)

Many once nominally part of the COG (e.g. see Banned by HWA and Ambassador Watch) as well as many inside still claiming to be have said false and evil things against me (e.g. see Can Christians Actually be Cursed By Witches or Witch Doctors?).

Do not accept false prophets. Do not, however, believe it is safer to not accept God’s criteria for prophets.

If you really were a prophet sent by God, people would know. However, everyone in the. Living Church of God, from its leaders and ministers down to the everyday members knows that you are a fraud and a false prophet. Kudos to them! Everyone in the other COG groups knows that you are a liar and false preheat. That is why the entire Church of God movement has REJECTED YOU! Even when people leave LCG, RCG, PCG, and other groups they still DO NOT join up with you. Everyone knows! Everyone knows!

The Great Bwana Bob Mzungu then proceeds to claim that he now has over 9,000 members, but fails to mention that 8,900 of them live in Africa with little internet access and are led by men who church hop from one Adventist/sabbatarian group to the next looking for whoever gives them the most money. Numbers are important to the Great Bwana Bob Mzungu. Constantly telling other COG people that he has more members than they do makes him feel good and keeps his heart puffed up with vanity. Classic signs of a narcissist.

Even Herbert Armstrong had to be dug up out of his grave to support the Great Bwana Bob Mzungu:

The late Pastor General of the old Worldwide Church of God, Herbert W. Armstrong, taught the following about Romans 11:25:

Now I want you to study carefully one of the most wonderful, important chapters in all the Bible — the 11th of Romans. … Verse 23 says those who abide not still in unbelief shall YET receive salvation. … Now study carefully beginning verse 25: “Blindness in part is happened to Israel [HOW LONG? Forever? No — note it], UNTIL the fulness of the Gentiles be come in” — the end of this age during which God is calling a people from among the gentiles to bear His name (Acts 15:14).  (Armstrong HW. Where Will The MILLENNIUM Be Spent? Tomorrow’s Word magazine, September 1971, p. 5)

Where is this occurring most in the Churches of God?

Well in the CCOG where we have had over 9,000 Gentiles come in (see also What About Romans 11:25 and the Full Number of the Gentiles?). Unlike various other x-WCG groups, the vast bulk with us were NOT once part of the old WCG nor were their parents part of the old WCG.

This is a fruit of a prophetic evangelist.

The Great Bwana Bob Mzungu ends with this:

Please accept the criteria that God, not some organization claiming to best represent Him, has set for determining who is a true prophet of God. Do not add non-biblical criteria, which is what most have done.

Accept God’s form of governance, which means how HE ordains leaders. Accept God’s criteria for a prophet.

We in the Continuing Church of God “have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts” (2 Peter 1:19, KJV).”

Use God’s criteria, not your emotions or the opinions of others, to persuade you to prove all things related to prophets and God’s use of dreams.

Absolute nothing the Great Bwana wrote above is criteria from God that we should accept him.  The extra-biblical nonsense he has added to enslave his followers is appalling. The morally bankrupt system of "church governance" inherited from the mother church is rotten to the core. No splinter group leader ever respected that-called governance, back then or today.

The improperly named "continuing" Church of "god" no more holds a sure word of prophecy than Dave Pack or Gerald Flurry does.

God's criteria on lying Church of God false prophets is this:

Deuteronomy 18:20

20 But a prophet who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, is to be put to death.”

Ezekiel13:9

My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and utter lying divinations. They will not belong to the council of my people or be listed in the records of Israel, nor will they enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Sovereign LORD.

Jeremiah 14:14

Then the LORD said to me, “The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I have not sent them or appointed them or spoken to them. They are prophesying to you false visions, divinations, idolatries and the delusions of their own minds.

Jeremiah 23:16

This is what the LORD Almighty says: “Do not listen to what the prophets are prophesying to you; they fill you with false hopes. They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the LORD.

Luke 6:26

Woe to you when everyone speaks well of you, for that is how their ancestors treated the false prophets.

Matthew 24:24

For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect

Matthew 16:11-12

How is it you don’t understand that I was not talking to you about bread? But be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”

12 Then they understood that he was not telling them to guard against the yeast used in bread, but against the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

2 Timothy 4:3-4

For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.

4 They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

Acts 20,:28-30

Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood.

29 I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock.

30 Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them.

2 Peter 3:14-18

So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him.

15 Bear in mind that our Lord’s patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him.

16 He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.

17 Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position.

18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.

1 John 4:1-6

Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

2 This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God,

3 but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.

Matthew 7:15-20

Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.

16 By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?

17 Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.

18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.

19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

20 Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.

2 Peter 1:20-21

20 Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things.

21 For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

Titus 1:6-16

Therefore rebuke them sharply, so that they will be sound in the faith

14 and will pay no attention to Jewish myths or to the merely human commands of those who reject the truth.

15 To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted.

16 They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.
