UNDERSTAND this! If we are led by the Spirit of God we shall enter into His Kingdom of God at the time of Christ's coming and the resurrection. Will GOD'S Kingdom be divided?
Again, we are, so to speak, in the process of being trained for entrance into the Kingdom of God, where WE SHALL JUDGE ANGELS (I Cor. 6:3).
A kingdom or a house divided against itself cannot stand! Even two cannot walk together except they be agreed! (Amos 3:3).
A few years ago, when I had high hopes that my son, Garner Ted, might qualify in God's sight for very high office in God's Kingdom, I said to him, "Ted, I often think of you and me as a father-and-son team, and how wonderful it would seem if we could be like the Father-and-Son divine Team that heads the entire universe! But to walk together as God and Christ do, we would have to remember that the Son agreed completely with the Father in all things. He said, ‘I have not spoken of myself; the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment what I should say'" (John 12:49).
But as soon as I mentioned that the Divine Son was in total agreement with His Father, Ted would immediately change the subject. Good News April 1979
Imagine, the prophet Zechariah was given a vision in which he saw a “flying scroll”. This was not just any scroll. This scroll was “open” and contained judgments. Most biblical scholars admit that this passage is “difficult to interpret” but they do agree that it is a judgment on Babylon [“the land of Shinar”]. Shinar was the region containing Babel, modern Iraq, Akkad, and Calneh. So the message was spread out. Today we understand that Zechariah was shown the Seven Sealed Scroll mentioned in Revelation 5:1. Jesus Christ was shown in vision to receive this sealed scroll and to begin to “unseal” it for His church to understand.
Those of you who have studied this revelation know that Jesus Christ breaks open the “seven seals” on the scroll and begins to reveal what happens on earth at the final disclosure of each of the seals revelations. How does this prophecy come down to God’s church today? Zechariah saw it come from the sky. Listen to these other clues that God has “sprinkled” throughout His word to help us understand how it comes to us.
“Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain [former understanding], and the latter rain [latter understanding] in the first month.” - Joel 2:23
God’s way of life is a way of give and at pyc, campers get many chances to practice that way. One of the most visible ways the campers can exercise the giving way is through the activity called campus improvement, or “CI” for short.
In CI, campers beautify God’s 170-acre campus by assisting the landscaping department, thus giving back to the Church which makes pyc possible.
This is one aspect counselor Ariel Buckler of 5G focused her dorm on before their class. “I told the campers to look at campus improvement as a way to make God’s campus more beautiful,” she said.
The extra manpower comes at the right time for landscaping department manager Carl Hilliker.
“Since I lose all my regular workers during camp, and have fewer workers available, we tend to fall behind in many areas, especially weeding,” said Mr. Hilliker. “So the dorms help us catch up a little bit
What a precious time for these young people. Really, this is a privilege especially at this age and in this troubled world. Great!

... Pruning, trimming and purging the dead stuff is required in nature, so new grasses, flowers and trees can take root and grow. Likewise, we need to prune, trim and purge the “dead stuff” spiritually to grow and prosper.
The many sermons I have given, including much of what you have read and will read, bring GOD’S interpretation of phrases, symbols and terms that He uses, not my private opinions. The reader will find that Zechariah 11 is in code. But nothing within it is complicated. Each verse has a clear explanation if we just allow the Bible—meaning GOD!—to interpret the meaning through other scriptures. The “code” it is written in becomes easily unlocked.
Dave then goes on to whine that even HWA did not talk about Zechariah:...few ever think through that someone has to teach the MEANING of what the prophets recorded. Otherwise, the secret remains a secret. False prophets and false teachers never get these secrets right because God is not using them. He works through the servant that He IS using, and the explanation is both correct and makes sense against ALL related verses. The bigger the prophecy—and this one is GIANT—the greater the importance for God to “reveal His secret,” but then only to His people, not the world. Recall that Haggai himself is called “the Lord’s messenger” who brings “the Lord’s message” to His people. Haggai contains BIG secrets. Thus, at God’s selected time, someone—think about this—SOMEONE, from somewhere—has to explain this “Lord’s message” to God’s people or Haggai cannot be a messenger—to anyone. It is that simple. This is MY role.
Dave needs to realize that may be there was reason HWA did not talk about it! It wasn't relevant.
We are ready to begin examination of Zechariah, specifically chapter 11. This chapter was never openly discussed in the Worldwide Church of God. I never heard Mr. Armstrong talk about it even once. Since the apostasy, there have only been a few crazy opinions about Zechariah 11, but all of them have been disproven.
This prophetic book of Zechariah has only now been fully understood! The book of Zechariah contains prophecy about two end-time churches of God. One church is doing God’s work. The other church, which is Laodicean, fails in its commission to do God’s work. The key to understanding these churches is a flying scroll. It shows us what God is doing today and where it is all leading. ▪
