Why Can't COG Preachers Stay On Topic?

Banned's most favorite false prophet (right after Dave Pack, Gerald Flurry, Ron Weinland, and Zerubbabel, of course) is The Great Bwana to Africa, the Chief Overseer of the improperly named "continuing" Church of God, the modern-day Elisha, Elijah, Habbakuk, Amos, Joshua, dreamer of dreams and the most infamously doubly-blessed man the Church of God has EVER seen, has preached a new sermon on the four horsemen of Revelation, COVID-19 and the Rise of his Beast Buddy Baron Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg.

A truly effective speaker speaks on one topic when they speak.  Our prophet is different, in more ways than one, his mind wanders just like his jazz hands do when he starts bouncing in his chair and waving his arms.

His latest message contains the following:
The 6th chapter of the Book of Revelation tells of the ride of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. What do each represent?
Is the novel coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, part of the fourth horseman?
Does the Bible point to around 2 billion people dying from hunger, war, and the beasts of the earth?
Was the ancient Roman Empire impacted by pestilences?
What about the black death, also known as the Bubonic plague?
Are disease epidemics part of the beginning of sorrow and troubles that Jesus spoke about in Matthew 24 and Mark 13?
Does the pale green horseman represent Islam?
Could genetically modified organisms (GMOs) or synthetic biology cause or contribute to coming pandemics?
Is chemical and biological warfare (CBW) a real threat to humanity?
What about a doomsday bug or antibiotic resistant superbugs?
Is fear a contagion that will help people move away from democracy?
Will scientists be able to stop what is coming?
It the good news that the Kingdom of God will?
Could COVID-19 be setting the stage for the rise of the ‘prince,’ who will become the totalitarian Beast of the Sea (also known as 666 and the King of the North)?
Is this leader similar to the Great Monarch of Greco-Roman Catholic prophecies?
When is the Great Monarch supposed to arise according to the Eastern Orthodox?
Why might Europe be less affected by the ride of the third horseman that the US, Canada, and the UK?
Are governments taking steps now, consistent with the words of Adolf Hitler?
What seal represents the start of the Great Tribulation? Which Christians did Jesus promise to protect from the coming “hour of trial”?

Here is some Excedrin to ease the mindnumbing pain at the thought of listening to him drone on about ALL of these topics in his so-called sermon.

A Reminder From Your COG Regarding Your Stimulus Check

Gerald Weston: LCG Members Still Working Need To Give More Money To Make Up For The Money The Church Is Not Getting From Unemployed Members

Gerald Weston is again sticking his hands into LCG member's pockets by giving another sob story on how desperate the work of the Living God is for money.  For all of those home-bound LCG members who traveled to work and spent money on gas and airfare, he wants you to send him that money.  Don't save it up for a rainy day or future shutdowns. If you are still working and getting paid, please give Gerald your "extra" money to make up for the money that unemployed members are not sending in now. The Living God needs it!  That Big Dude in the sky can't do anything without your money!

Many people are looking for answers that we can provide, but with so many of you out of work, doing our Work of preaching the true Gospel and warning this world of what is to come is a challenge. Though it was not unexpected, we already saw a downturn in income over the last two weeks.

However, I want to be totally open with all of you. We did receive the blessing of a large sum of money just as this crisis was beginning. God knew we would need it, and He provided it. He positioned us to be in the best shape financially in many years going into this difficult time. We also have savings in hall rentals and travel expenses as we shift during this crisis to holding Sabbath services online temporarily. This offsets some lost income, but even with these savings, our reserves could be depleted if this lasts very long.

While we have been abundantly blessed here in the United States, that is not the case for many of our offices, congregations, and members around the world. We expect that at least some of our international offices will need help. We also do not want to deplete our reserves to the point of not being able to take advantage of new doors opening to preach the Gospel. For example, we just signed a contract for a television station that covers Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Morgantown, West Virginia. Both cities have Living Church of God congregations ready to welcome newcomers to share in fellowship with people of like mind. The program is scheduled to begin airing Sunday, May 3, at 7:00 a.m. on WPCW. Please pray that it will provide excellent results.

Because of these reasons, I’m asking that those who are able, those who have regular income and are themselves saving from lower travel costs, to please consider giving a little extra to make up for those who are out of work. It is not reasonable to ask people to do what they cannot do, and we will not employ emotional appeals with sad faces and sentimental music. Instead, I am making an honest and simple appeal: Now is a time for those of us who are still working, or who have much, to make up for those out of work or who have little.

This world needs the good news of the coming Kingdom of God. That good news goes far beyond some sort of retirement in the clouds or some kind of celestial drug trip.
Weston is such a condescending man with the stupid things he says that he must think is cute or impressive.

Weston goes on to fail to mention that in his alternate version of a celestial drug trip, his world will be ruled over by LCG tyrant ministers and members.  Watching how COG leaders and some members have treated us over the decades, this is NOT something that the public needs to be desirous in joining.

The Pathetic Membership Numbers of Philadelphia Church of God

Exit and Support has a fascinating chart detailing the current membership of the Philadelphia Church of God from Ohio to the West Coast. In their own home state they cannot draw in more than 50 members. Truly laughable!

Check out the chart here for more information.
