Looking at the above picture you see a group of happy people who have reached a milestone in their lives.
However, according to the grumpy far right nutjobs in the Church of God this is a group of immodest, inconsiderate, ignorant wanna-be fake Christians (i.e the women only).
These are the recent graduates of the UCG Ambassador Bible Center. Regardless of what I think about the 'biblical' education they have received, they have accomplished something important in their lives.
Maybe with the new direction UCG is headed these might be the movers and shakers that actually make a difference in the Church. However, that is another post.
Now get a look at what one woman in the COG thinks about these women above. She was responding to Malm's asinine hat post yesterday:
Custom or no, it is quite clear to anyone who attends any of the COG’s that there is rampant immodesty in dress exemplified at services, so one can imagine what is worn at other times. I am amazed at the number of strapless dresses, mini-hemlines, plunging necklines, and sprayed-on applicator dresses that are worn for purposes of worship. A quick glance around at services and at the 2011 Ambassador graduating class picture (posted proudly online for all to see) speaks volumes. When was the last time we all heard a genuine sermon at ANY of the COG’s about appropriate dress and its impact on cultivating modesty (or not)? At every single church event that involves swimming or beach/pool access (like at the Feast, etc), a reminder announcement to wear modest swimsuits apparel has to be written. How sad is it that God’s own people have to be constantly reminded to dress with a modicum of humility? Shouldn’t this be a moot point by now? Is it that we really still don’t know how to dress ourselves properly after all these years or is it that we just don’t give a flip? Do we fear offending some by taking a stance on the issue publicly, from the podium? If so, then this begs yet another question–what is the attitude behind the silence?
I can only imagine what this woman dresses like. Probably still in a long skirt to her ankles like COG women had to wear in the 50's/60's, no make up, her hair up in a tight bun like this:
or 1960's Ambassador hair like this:
Shame on those Jezabels in that UCG Ambassador Center group photo! These harlots are showing their legs and flaunting their hair without covering their heads with hats. And look at the smiles on the men's faces photgraphed with all these Jezabels!
ReplyDeleteThe time is at hand to repent, and to re-read Herbert Armstrong's book "Missing Dimension" lest they all get cast out into the Lake of Fire for their promiscuity.

Assuming there was a real Jesus and we have an approximation of what he really thought and taught in those new testament pages, I wonder what he would have to say about such straght-laced nit picking.
ReplyDeleteI really think there are much "weightier" matters to be concerned about.
This all seems so foreign to me, possibly because of some of the paths which I took after leaving WCG back in 1975.
ReplyDeleteFirst, there is nothing about any of the young women in the graduation picture that would make them unusually conspicuous at the mall, the movies, or at a restaurant. Giving credit where credit is due (to God!), some of them are attractive. That anyone would single out individuals or indeed the whole group as immodest or wanton tells me that such a self appointed judge comes from a very cloistered group that shuns or ignores current clothing styles, does not read magazines or watch TV or movies, and probably stares at the ground while at the supermarket.
Heck, when I was a renegade reprobate, we used to look for women that had no bras on, speculate about if it was real or silicone, and try to guess which women shaved and weren't wearing any underwear! Sitting in the gentlemens' clubs, getting lap dances, we used to fantasize about which of the women might have been with women. Want sin??? All of that WAS very sinful, no doubt about it!
Ultimately, the stuff that's eternally important is what is in peoples' hearts, and that's the very part which is invisible to the human eye! Shame on self-righteous prudes for being hyper-critical. I sure hope they never find themselves in a position where they need someone to cut them some slack, but can only find judges like themselves!

ReplyDeleteMY COMMENT - Yes true, but we are talking about the WCG and its harlot daughters where there is no aspect of human life that can't be blown completely out of proportion for fun, control and profit of the "Profits of God".
While they all are young "hussies", did you not see particularly the young woman in the Ambassador photo with her leg curled in a provocative manner?
Repent, read the Apostle of God's "Missing Dimension in sex" book, and send more money in to headquarters now.
And whatever you do, don't forget the Building Fund.

Lake of Fire Church of God
P.S. There will be a "pot luck" church social following Sabbath Services this Saturday. Singles please bring Watermelon; Single males take a cold shower and do NOT look at the photo of the Ambassador Jazabels posted on this website - particularly the one with her leg curled in that provocative male arousing way. She is toast in the lake of fire! Caput! Gone! Hasta la vista!
P.S.S. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, after which we will be conducting a good ol' fashion foot washing service.
Guys - just sleep on your backs and there will be no problems.
ReplyDeleteIt's the exposed feet legs arms shoulders collarbone and sometimes cleavage. Some kind of scarf could help for two of the girls with stand-out boobs. The dresses that barely cover knees would flash easily when sitting down. Improper sleeves invite glances towards armpit especially if arms ever raised. Bare feet won't fly outside of a hick wedding. At least they're no worse than people at the mall!
