You Are Now In Training To Be Priest Rulers --IF You Qualify!

So how does one justify all the whipping, stoning, lashing, killing that TRUE leaders of God will be doing in the millennium when ruling over planets, worlds and galaxies?

Below is what the Apostle uses to justify the actions he has been promoting.  You had better be keeping all the commandments, not eating pork, not eating in restaurants on Saturdays, making your wife wear hats in church, and observing new moons!  You are in final training to be Priests and Rulers and need to know how to administer JUSTICE swiftly and immediately!  No pussy footing around!  Be a MAN and assert your authority!

DEUTERONOMY 21
1 If one be found slain in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee to possess it, lying in the field, and it be not known who hath slain him: 2 Then thy elders and thy judges shall come forth, and they shall measure unto the cities which are round about him that is slain: 3 And it shall be, that the city which is next unto the slain man, even the elders of that city shall take an heifer, which hath not been wrought with, and which hath not drawn in the yoke; 4 And the elders of that city shall bring down the heifer unto a rough [uncultivated]  valley, which is neither eared nor sown, and shall strike off the heifer’s neck there in the valley:
This displays the Theocratic nature of the Mosaic Covenant and the priests as the law enforcement agents as well as the religious teachers.  Priest rulers, as we shall be in God’s kingdom IF we qualify.
5 And the priests the sons of Levi shall come near; for them the LORD thy God hath chosen to minister unto him, and to bless in the name of the LORD; and by their word shall every controversy and every stroke be tried: 6 And all the elders of that city, that are next unto the slain man, shall wash their hands over the heifer that is beheaded in the valley: 7 And they shall answer and say, Our hands have not shed this blood, neither have our eyes seen it. 8 Be merciful, O LORD, unto thy people Israel, whom thou hast redeemed, and lay not innocent blood unto thy people of Israel’s charge. And the blood shall be forgiven them. 9 So shalt thou put away the guilt of innocent blood from among you, when thou shalt do that which is right in the sight of the LORD.

  1. Where is Jesus Christ and his sacrifice in all of this?

Correct me if I am wrong (according to Scripture, anyway), but isn't Jesus Christ himself supposed to be on the scene in the millennium and would know immediately what happened, and wasn't he THE sacrifice to end all sacrifices?

It isn't clear to me how a psychotic mind can reconcile the New Testament with Old Testament Christianity. Perhaps circumcism will be reinstituted in the Millennium too, along with sacrifices, keeping the feasts, beatings, executions (just how would anyone ever learn anything if they have to die every time they do something wrong)?

I suppose in this little prison where the Warden is now Jesus Christ, instead of Satan, that the hapless prisoners who have been completely dehumanized and made into non entities, the Guards can escalate their abuses until we all have a society predicted by George Orwell's 1984 with no mercy, no compassion, but glittering and new looking with gleaming cities and the earth a beautiful prison campus, ready to make humanity really miserable in the Second Resurrection.

And after that, as immortal spirit beings, we can all have an eternity of horrifying unimaginable suffering where eye has not seen, ear has not heard, nor skin ever felt, the miseries awaiting in the Kingdom.

It's sure nice that a few sadistic people will be able to satisfy their blood lust and we can get rid of those damned liberals.

  2. Aside from all the crazy, psycholaws of Biblegod in the OT, who outside of braindead "Israelites" would abide such a phoney system and life?

Slaughtering animals by the zillions for "sin" and all the other BS is just insane. The "Israelite" Bible experience is proof that human consciousness had its very low points in times gone by.

  3. Mr. Malm is merely the empty cylinders in the gun.

The OT provides him all the bullets.

The Israeli Woman, by Lesley Hazleton, the Hebrew language sexualizes war:

"Gever" is the Hebrew for man, pronounced with the main accent on the first syllable, giving it an aggressive swing. The word also means a cock, or rooster.

But if heroism is purely masculine in Hebrew, weapons and fighting are even more explicitly so. While the sexual connotations of "gever" derive from the cock of the roost, those of weaponry derive directly from the penis.

The Hebrew for penis is "zayin," which is also the word for a weapon. The phrase for Israel's armed forces can thus translate as "an army equipped with penises,'' and the verb meaning "to take up arms" also means "to have sexual intercourse. '

  4. Douglas, "their" version of the kingdom of heaven is actually hell, plain and simple. That is the horrendous extent of their blindness!

I read an article last month in one of the Christian publications to which I subscribe, an interesting and stimulating article on raising children. Of course, what a child learns in a family setting acts as a blueprint for his or her concept of God, so this is clearly a topic with eternal implications. Children raised with a proper understanding of grace, and seeing God as being a loving, forgiving, eternal mentor tend to remain in the faith, and to be enthusiastic about their eternal relationship with Him.

The article described very eloquently the grace based childrearing which results from unconditional love. In Armstrongism, love from parents, the ministers, and God was not grace based, it was performance based. In other words, "Son, you either do what the hell I tell you when the hell I tell you to do it, without questions, or you can get the hell out, and face the Lake of Fire!"

You know, every time a new splinter forms, one hopes that it will be based on a more Biblically inspired concept of God, but somehow we nearly always get disappointed. They just can't seem to jetison the concept of performance-based love, with that performance dictated by extreme legalism and perpetual fear. Their lack of trust in the Holy Spirit's transformational power leads them to believe that absence of legalism automatically causes a condition known as "cheap grace." Clearly, lack of trust in the HS! Members of the Seventh Day Adventist church seem to have undergone a transition to less cultic standards. Why can't the ACOGs?
