Sabbath Breakers Are Out To Lead Simple Women Away From Their Chastity

More hilarity from apsotle Malm:

They have a certain outward appearance of righteous, but they do what THEY think is right and NOT what God commands. They are the kind of people who go to church and say “Oh, I am so righteous because God has called me and I’m going to a great corporate church. We have great ministers and great sermons. And all of this is so great.” And then they go home. They pollute their bodies. They pollute the Sabbath. They envy their neighbors. They abuse their children and their wives. They’re unfaithful, unthinking, and unthankful. Yes, from such turn away.

For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with diver’s lusts. II Tim 3

That is, these kinds of people will take advantage of simple women to seduce them and led them away from their chastity.  This is a type of false teachers leading the simple and ungrounded in sound doctrine away from, the faith for all saints are symbolic women and called to be chaste virgins fit to be a part of teh bride of the Lamb.

  1. The apostrophe in that red quoted sentence indicates that captive silly women will be led away with the lusts of a diver.

What kind of diver, exactly? High? Pearl? Scuba? Deep-sea? Muff?

  2. If anyone knows where to find these captive silly women, please let me know.

  3. To listen to these idiots, you'd think that if you made a single deviation from their legalism, all of Satan's greatest tools and pleasures would automatically fall into your lap. Malm goes way beyond simple superstition! I bet he gets up every morning in deep fear that he'll make a mistake and lose his salvation! What a horrible way to have to live.

  4. Ophelia, I wondered the same thing and could not think of the lusts of either Diver Dan or Mike Nelson from Sea Hunt.

Perhaps Diver Dan did lust after Miss Minerva, although I truly do not know what was in Diver Dan's heart.(Or Miss Minerva's muff.)

In any case, Malm's righteousness smells kinda fishy to me, and surely is lacking in pearls of wisdom.

Great memory! Loved Sea Hunt as a kid and was amazed at how many underwater fights a scuba guy could get in..ha. Lloyd Bridges gave his dog to my Uncle in Miami and my aunt who wrote scripts for Sea Hunt, Gentle Ben, Flipper and the Rifleman at Ivan Tors studio.

MY COMMENT: Especially if they look like that picture huh? I've never seen any women look like THAT in the "church"... with lipstick.:-)

  7. Ha!
Somehow, my father deemed it OK for us to watch Gentle Ben and Flipper on the Sabbath.

When the Flipper movie was going to air on TV, it was a big deal in our household.

IIRC, I fixed our "Color TV" when I was like 13, about a week before the Flipper movie, by changing the high voltage rectifier, LOL! I remember using a wire hangar to dissipate the HVR's charge by grounding it so I wouldn't get electrocuted.

IIRC, the Flipper movie made out Flipper's blow-hole to be a stab wound. But I could be wrong, because my memory is sketchy and that blow-hole/stab wound may have been a 2 parter on the Flipper TV series.

  8. Malm should listen to more Country and Western music! It's not sabbath breaking. More like "Something About a Truck!"
That's what gets the ladies going.
Now Malm will probably label pickup trucks as Satanic vehicles, but while he's fixin' to do that, check out Kip Moore's new song. Tastiest slide guitar I've heard in years!

James Malm spoke about other's righteousness in the above; however, James does have some beliefs that do not square with scripture and may be just as guilty for establishing his own righteousness. It was a problem in the Apostle Paul's day too:

Romans 10:1 Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.
3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

Yes, James does exhibit a zeal of sorts...and he does have his own righteousness...
