No wonder Armstrongism has such difficulties! Exorcise? Now we know why they are all having such difficulties in maintaining members. They consider faith something to be cast out.
Doubting God is also something we
sometimes struggle with. We seem to be born doubters. This sense is also
proper. This means that we must develop faith. True faith is a gift but
it must be exorcised. If you don’t use it you lose it. When we do not
exorcise true faith we become self-dependent. Learning to be Christian

Yes, well, does E. W. King offer pet exocisms (which became part of the WCG subculture in the 1970s as members found their pets were demon possessed).
ReplyDeletePerhaps some enterprising people can offer not just pet care during the Great Tribulation / Rapture, but add pet exorcism to their menu of services (I use the term "services" advisidly).
Maybe if the tithes are not enough...?
Hopefully, the boy in that picture was able to rid that wee girl of demons. It sure looks like he has the Holy Spirit and is full of the proper intention!
ReplyDeleteMaybe he can work on the family pets, next.
Gone baptizin',

PS: UPDATE: The scratches on my arms indicate that my cat is not yet ready for baptism.
