The Perfect Storm: God's Punishment on America

Here we go again.  I knew it would not take too long before a COG minister started blaming the storm that is soon to hit the East coast as punishment from God.  Next it will be Flurry, Pack and Meredith jerking the COG around with God's wrath crap.

God's end time TRUE Worldwide Church of God leader, the one and only E.W. King say that he predicted this hurricane/storm earlier in the year.

As many of you know, I predicted the record breaking tornados and even hot temps and record rain in certain parts of the United States. I also warned in my November 2010 forecast that we would see a drought nation-wide. I predicted in my April 2012 forecast of an increase in not only gas but also food prices because of the draught.

Any third grader who has at least a little science will be able to predict tornado's, hot temperatures and record rain in various parts of the United States.  Give me a break!  Are King's followers that stupid that they believe he predicted this?????

In grand old Church of God fashion, he cannot leave well enough alone.  There is a reason behind this storm.  This time though, it's not the abortionists, the gays, or the liberals, It's Mitt Romney!  It's all HIS fault this is happening.

Well, now as Mr. Romney takes the lead in the polls we see the Perfect Storm. This storm now known as Hurricane Sandy could be a great warning regarding the false prophet and pagan president soon to perhaps take office.

E. W. King then goes on to predict earthquakes.  Really?  There are going to be earthquakes?

I have an earthquake reporting app on my iPhone that instantly tells me when an earthquake happens anywhere in the world.  It goes off constantly!  Tonight though, E.W. must really be gloating, considering there were several large earthquakes in the Queen Charlotte region of Canada. The largest a 7.7.

There are to be solar flares this next year too.  Really?  Solar flares?  Where are those third graders again?????  Oh, and let's not forget terrorist attacks.  They are bound to happen to, unfortunately.  By predicting such a things does not make one a prophet or agent of God.

The next big thing to hit us is electrical storms.  Anyone living in the Midwest can verify that they have those too.

Also, I have warned about the increase in earthquakes and the solar flare activity that may be headed our way. And sadly, more terrorist attacks and shootings in the US. We are living in sad times. As Christians we have true Hope! Hope of a better world to come because of Jesus Christ! We are living in the end-times. It is truly time to stay awake, alert and aware. Electric storms on the way!
Then he breathlessly announces the following:

We will watch military actions occur very soon!

Well d'oh!

Even God's greatest authority on prophecy and end time events can't keep his mouth shut.  He too, is boasting that he predicted hurricanes and earthquakes and all kinds of other goodies.

And of course, in 2012, weather problems, including flooding, drought, and heat have affected various parts of the world (see, for example, Earthquakes, South African Snow, Heat Record, Drought, and Food Prices, Flooding in North Korea, Philippines, Taiwan, and China, TW: Drought USA and Flooding UK; Russia Having Both, Quarter Million Affected by Flooding in Japan, Severely Cold Weather in South Africa and Australia, Drought in Mid-USA Affecting Grain, 2012 Drought Declared USA’s Largest Ever Natural Disaster, Drought Affecting India and Its Food Supply; Europe too, Drought Reducing Wheat Yields in US, Australia, Russia, and Ukraine, and Weather Extremes in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the UK).
Back in 2009, my book, 2012 and the Rise of the Secret Sect mentioned the following was about to happen:
Odd weather patterns result in food shortages and natural disasters. Matthew 24:7
The world is actually in a berserk transition, as the real age of peace is not yet here. It may be a period of chaos. It is the beginning of sorrows Matthew 24:8
In 2011, the USA had a tremendous amount of odd weather as well (see NRDC: All US States Had Extreme Weather; Confirms 2012 Book Prediction).
Droughts and odd weather problems should serve as a wake-up call.  Weather-related troubles with their related social and food issues, of course, have been biblically expected:
False prophets of doom have been predicting these things for millennia.  Their stupidity does nothing more than keep us entertained.

  1. These poor guesswork prophets. Why do they bother? Even if they do manage to guess right from time to time (as statistics suggests they will) what is this supposed to prove? That they're good at guessing? Or that god almighty has selected them as his special chosen guessers? What on earth are they crowing about? And E.W. King obviously has yet to learn that it's unwise to count one's chickens before they've hatched. What if this "perfect storm" fizzles? Weather is notoriously difficult to predict accurately, especially several days out. In that event, I guess he'll do what false prophets always do when they guess wrong, dust himself off and pretend like no one notices his failures, and keep right on guessing as though dismal record won't continue!

  2. Droughts and odd weather problems should serve as a wake-up call.

Really? A wake up call to what? 700+ would be false prophets?

Just what sort of example are these Armstrongists setting? Do people really want to go crazy in kook cults which don't have one shred of credibility? It just seems that the punishment should be on the ACoGs first, since judgment begins at the house of God.

But that's just it, isn't it? God never sent them. They are taking God's Name in vain.

Listen up, you Armstrongists: Do you think that if God exists, He's pleased with you? You have divisions among you. Is this really what God wants?

If you believe in God, then believe this: God will punish you.

Either that or God doesn't exist and / or doesn't care about you. You're just seeking attention and not giving God credit... which amounts to idolatry.

Anyway, gas prices have dropped 30 cents here in the past week... after the Feast, I might add (so much for God lowering the price so people could go to the Feast -- maybe you Armstrongists are being sent a message... but not to worry, they will go up after the election).

You Armstrongists are terminally stupid fools, but that shouldn't worry you as much as irritating God, should it?

  3. What do you think? Will LCG talk about the gas prices NOW?

  4. I just can't figure this out. Is the storm a punishment for a Mormon taking the lead in the presidential race or for a secret Muslim already being in the White House? (I jest.) I thought it was because people eat out on the Sabbath and tolerate gays. Or pack their suitcases on the LGD.

I wish God would be more specific. Why can't he just buy a lot of late night TV time like those infomercial guys and explain it all to us?

  5. I predict weather tomorrow.

It is a prophecy sure to come true.

Therefore, you should hold in great contempt, since, obviously, I'm not a false prophet looking for money, support and building ego.

Not certain it's worthwhile to fit in.

  6. I predict weather too. It can be very erratic and depends on air currents and the location of high and low pressure areas.

We in arizona are pretty well out of hurricane tracks, but they can get here too. This article on Widipedia lists those that have impacted us: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Arizona_hurricanes

Of course, nothing is chance when you're "god addled" and desperately looking for something to bash unbelievers over the head with while holding yourself up as his anointed so the suckers will keep on paying and praying and kissing your behind.

  7. Did the prophets in the Bible ever brag about their prophecies coming to pass? In fact, did they ever attempt to "own" the prophecies that God had given them, and to attempt to collect followers?

Boy! What a difference. But, you know what they say: If it quacks like a duck, it must be a quack!

  8. By bashing Governor Romney, King bashes his fellow "family of God" believer, his fellow non-trinitarian. And, all of the Mormon values which might influence our nation in some very positive ways.

Of course, it goes without saying that, rather than praying for our president, most of the ACOGs teach it's our national disgrace to have a "non-Israelite" as president, and especially what they classify as being a liberal, at that.

The election (from the Armstrongite world view) appears to be a perfect storm this year, and whatever the results actually end up being, it will keep members on edge for the next four years.

I still remember HWA laughing when Ronald Reagan was running for governor of Cali. He dismissed Reagan as a "movie star", and RR ended up actually performing a restoration of the USA, one that defied all of HWA's uninspired prophetic guesswork.

  9. The "as I predicted," "As I foresaw.." "As I said back...." are phrases that both annoy and define the ego centric and self absorbed bafoons of COGDOM.

  10. For goodness sake I can predict that come August/September 2013 there's going to be another hurricane of massive proportions along the US/Caribbean coast that we'll all be talking about it until...the following hurricane season! It's as if there's never been a hurricane before with these prophets falsely so called!

  11. "By bashing Governor Romney, King bashes his fellow "family of God" believer, his fellow non-trinitarian. And, all of the Mormon values which might influence our nation in some very positive ways."

Mormon values, you say. Just what the hell are they? Have you ever looked into how they view and belittle women, their racism, their stupid doctrines about pre-columbian america, how things are really done in their cult? It's even more evil and destructive than WCG! It's a system of idiots leading other idiots!

"RR ended up actually performing a restoration of the USA, one that defied all of HWA's uninspired prophetic guesswork."

Oh, really? You mean the savings and loan crisis? You mean the start of thirty years of crafty manipulation of the Supreme Court to put mad dog conservatives in control. The steady elevation of the super rich 1% and the impoverishing of everyone else?

    Yeah, right.

  12. We'll be waiting with baited breath to see how the various headquarters and home offices of the Almighty Armstrongist churches of God fare.

For all we know, this perfect storm is God's punishment on Armstrongism.

Too bad about Oklahoma, but there's always hurricane season (note Job 1).
