This is sure to piss of the die-hard Armstrongites. Imagine sausage and bacon on Herb's holy lawns!!!!!! Given the drug use that was rampant in Imperial Schools, thanks to the kids of the ministry, this commercial is quit appropriate to illustrate the stoned COGers.
Speaking of "tripping," whatever happened to the money that Joe Jr. and Co pocketed from the sale of the Hall of Ad and environs? Did it get stashed in numerous "corporate soles" like what Stan Rader put together across the country during the Receivership? Has there ever been a true accounting and disclosure?
ReplyDeleteMaybe time for a class action lawsuit?
Ambassador always gave everybody a BIG HEAD!
ReplyDelete"Has there ever been a true accounting and disclosure?"
ReplyDeleteNo, there has not.
Joe Jr is as slippery as the Christian mainstream "Liars for Jesus" evangelicals he's now a part of.

Isn't this a thread about a Jack in the Box commercial? Geez, folks, the property has been in other people's hands for years. Sometimes you've just gotta let things go...
ReplyDeleteWell, at least the property is bringing in $ for somebody.
ReplyDelete@Assistant: Some people in COG's clearly have not let it go.
ReplyDeletePCG's TheTrumpet.com mentioned in an article the other day how the A.C. was used in a Microsoft Surface ad -- and how it "strikes pain" into Armstrong-ites.
If the "Work of God" is defined as nice buildings, I suppose it could. But I thought that was supposed to mean spiritual conversion.
I still think it's kind of weird that all these big advertising firms/big businesses are suddenly using it as a filming location.
