Oh Nooos!!!The Pope Is Resigning!!! Church of God False Prophets and Apostles Freak Out

When I woke up to the news this morning that the Pope was resigning because of health reasons, I groaned and said, "Here it comes!" The first thing that came to mind was that prophet Thiel was going to be having an orgasmic fit.   I then immediately checked out his blog and sure enough a blaring headline said:

Right off the bat the prophet wants you to know that he has CORRECTLY predicted the resignation of the current pope that will also usher in the final Pope who will become the anti-Christ.  Prophet Thiel takes his predictions from the writings of St Malachy (or Saint Malarkey as many Catholics refer to him as) and the Visions of Fatima.

On July 19, 2008, God’s greatest living prophet wrote:

Now if Malachy’s prophecies on the popes is a complete list, there is only one pope left to come after Benedict XVI.

Since some other Catholic prophecies that state prior to the last pope, another pope will flee and die, then (if these prophecies are accurate) this would mean that this would happen with the current pope (who is elderly and German).

But in order to give himself wiggle room the prophet Thiel includes this:

So if the current pope flees and goes to Cologne (Germany) he might fulfill those prophecies.
However, it should be noted that decades ago, the editor of a book I own on Malachy’s list specifically wrote that Malachy’s list does not require that there could be no other popes prior to the last one. Notice:

Some medieval interpreters have gone out of their way to stress that Malachy in his prophecies does not specifically mention that no Popes reign between Gloria Olivae and the last Petrus Romanus; nor on the other hand does he mention that there will be others (Bander, p.96).

So, the above does give the Roman Catholics “wiggle room” if there remains more than one pope left. But if there is only one, the next one would likely be the False Prophet of Revelation 16:13.

Not only will it be the Catholics wiggling around, it will also include the wiggler himself, prophet Bob!

Prophet Thiel then gloats that he made an earlier prediction that has come true:

Thus I made a speculative prediction back in 2008 that Pope Benedict XVI might leave Rome, and now he has indirectly suggested that he may. And in April 2012, I and the church I was then part of speculated that Benedict XVI might resign (see Might Pope Benedict XVI Resign?)

The prophet is so adamantly SURE about his predictions that he claims he bought a web URL specifically for this end times:

Now, I was sufficiently serious about the final pontiff matter years ago that our family spent a significant amount of money to purchase a URL related to a book that I have been working on related this. (His Fatima book)

God’s final prophet wants you to know this too:

Perhaps I should also add that despite various ones who tried to tell me that Pope Benedict XVI was the final Antichrist, in my book, 2012 and the Rise of the Secret Sect, published back in 2009, I wrote:

I also want to make it clear that I do not believe that Pope Benedict XVI is the final prophesied Antichrist…(Thiel B. 2012 and the Rise of the Secret Sect.  Nazarene Books, 2009, p. 198)

And the pontiff’s resignation has shown that writing to apparently be correct.

We are living in the end times and it is certainly possible that the next pope will be the final Antichrist.

Why?

Because we are nearly finished with the 6,000 years that God has given humankind to rule itself.

The end is nigh!!!!!!!!!!

Not to be left out, the apostle Malm also has weighed in with his silly predictions:

He writes:

As a member of the Dominican Order,  Christopher chose this religious brotherhood as a future vocation. One only has to remember the terrible Inquisition and the loyal Dominicans who spearheaded its massacre of millions of innocent people.

Cardinal Torcisio Bertone will be interim pope, he has been a powerful force behind the coming new Federal Europe.  Pope Benedict was also a Vatican Secretary of State and interim pope befor his own election.

Cardinal Bertone is a key figure in putting together the new federal Europe.  He is now considered to be too old at 77 for the papacy, and may want to work from behind the scenes in  bringing Europe together as a buffer between East and West in the name of Peace.  With the new pope intervening when everything is set to become reality.

Cardinal Bertone is the most skilled Vatican politician and the man most responsible for the appointment by Benedict of a large bloc of Italian elector-Cardinals, they all owe loyalty to him and he knows where every body is buried.  If he throws his weight behind someone they will have a solid chance of being chosen.

Who will become the next pope to continue building the new federal Europe through the Catholic “Christian Democratic” parties and Catholic influence in Europe?  to be empowered to do miracles and set up as the abomination in the near future?

The new pope will either die, resign himself, or be empowered to do miracles at the appointed time, as the final abomination, in the near future.

Unlike prophet Thiel, apostle Malm does not fall for the Visions of Fatima or St Malaky and has ridiculed prophet Thiel for falling for superstition and useless predictions of pagans, particularly the Mayans.

Apostle Malm may not use the writings of “pagans” but he certainly has swallowed the speculations of dispensationalism that was rampant in this country.  Thanks to American dispensationalists a lot of this end time baloney is now considered “true” by many Christians.

Prophet Thiel and apostle Malm are not alone in their thinking on this.  Many COG ministers and leaders believe the same

Find it interesting that these guys fall for the writings of "false" Christians to support their desired outcomes for religions events.  They believe all of this is true, yet will mock historians and scientists that say that there is no trace of millions of Israelites wandering in the deserts of Sinai.  Not one single speck of evidence left over from multiple millions of people wandering around in the desert.  No broken pottery, no grave sites, no debris fields, nothing.

These men will speculate over the Visions of Fatima while swallowing as literally true Jonah in the whale.

So when little men like prophet Thiel and apostle Malm throw out their useless and absurd end time prophecies they loose their credibility because they do not use critical thinking.  The Visions of Fatima and Malaky are just as true as the Israelites wandering around and Jonah living for three days in the belly of a whale.

I have a feeling we will be in for a barrage of end time’s bull for the next several weeks by the various splinter cults.  End times malarkey will reign supreme while Jesus Christ will not be seen.

  1. Actually, there are headlines in the papers here (I haven't read the articles because the doings of the Catholics hold absolutely no relevance or interest for me) suggest that a Canadian might be the next runner-up for the Anti-Christ...

Now, if said Canadian is as Evangelical professing Christian as the current Canadian government (i.e., they want the whole country to worship after the ways of the Christian Missionary Alliance, which is what their party is based on), this Pope being the actual Antichrist might stand a chance. Given that the Evangelicals are the great whore of Babylon / Mystery Babylon the Great, and they want to bring in the One World Religion / New World Order these days. (I highly recommend the book "The Family" by Jeff Sharlet, for a bead on where the Evangelicals actually came from --- they were / are staunch neo-Nazis.)

I'm certainly not holding my breath, or breathlessly churning out "prophecies" about it, however; we are many hundreds of years away from Armageddon yet, IMO. Anything that seems "prophetic" in these times are mere seeds being sown for greater and far more perilous times to come in the distant (very distant) future.

Meh. Good riddance to Ratzi the Nazi, I say. Given everything that's come out about what he did to actively try and hide the systemic evil of the Catholics, it was pretty much inevitable, anyway.

  2. So the next pope will be the anti-christ. I thought the present pope was the anti-christ. Or wasn't pope John Paul the anti-christ? The fact is "nun", pardon the pun, of the popes where or are the anti-Christ.

  3. Pope Benedict resigns.

There really is a Cardinal Siccola who is in the running for the next Pope.

My prediction is that Cardinal Siccola will be the next pope because, considering past scandals, the Catholic Church is need of a new direction...We have been told for decades that things go better with Pope Siccola!!

  4. Wasn't the "God Father III" movie prophetic too?

    Inquiring minds have to know.

PS- up here in Wyoming they have been running re-runs of "The Flying Nun" on the local station. Is this also some sort of prophetic message or evil Catholic plot as well?? I must know!

  5. "According to these alleged predictions, there is only one more pope after the present one. He will be Petrus Romanus, Peter of Rome, who will preside over the destruction of Rome and the end of the present age.

The whole supposed prophecy is in fact an elaborate forgery. St. Malachy, who had a holy and illustrious career, died more than 400 years before his so-called prophecy first appeared in Europe, which is when the clearer references end and the impossibly vague ones begin.

The author must have had fun composing this literary and historical curiosity, but it is a fake. Nevertheless, it seems to be rediscovered and gain a brief, new following about every 20 or 25 years."

But it's ok...False Prophet using False Prophecies is a perfect match

  6. I tried to find the quote that Flurry made about this being "the last Pope and that you could take that to the bank". Maybe, someone can find it? It's time for the PCG to re-write their history again.

  7. Bob mistakes common everyday speculation, intuition and trends that can easily be seen to be heading somewhere as prophecy or the mind of a prophet.

Every economist, news hound, reporter, military leader or scholar on all topics human does the same. Far as I can tell, Bob reads on the net just like everyone and draws conclusions that he mistakes as something he has more special than others.

He reads his Bible like a newspaper or in our day and age, like the Drudge Report, King World News, Alex Jones and a gazillion other Internet sites that watch what's going on. Hardly prophet-like.

Far as I know, OT prophets (schizophrenics, epileptics, depressed?) did not name Kings or Religious leaders in advance. If they did then I'd imagine it was to a person they were seeking favor with and not something said to the masses. They mainly harangued on the current people to shape up or blah blah blah would happen, which often did not.

If Bob Thiel is a prophet then so are all the bloggers on the Net that are watching how our religious, finanacial and governmental dramas are playing out.

Bob's ignorance of the Bible, aside from being a great Bible reader (just not outloud or publically) is appaling. He is stuck in the literalist, dual meaning, "what is Midrash" and "It is inerrant" trap.

Local Catholic radio is explaining to local catholics that Malaky is mostly malarky and much of it in the later writing is forged and the more accuate ones, as much of the Bible prophecy, were written after the fact which is why they look so accurate. It is easy to prophecy accurately after the events you foretell have already happened. People just can't wrap their heads around the reality of that being the case in some places. Daniel 11 comes to mind. Daniel 12, not so much as they couldn't really know what would come next which is why it is so vague.

At any rate, I feel sorry for Bob and his thoughts about himself. He is not a good public teacher or speaker however well meaning he is. He lacks the background and genuine credntials to show he has done the hard work of theology and Biblical issues and origins.

I am always curious about why a man feels the need to be special and gifted in God things. Men like Pack, Flurry, Weinland and others are a fascinating study in this phenomenoun as long as you can keep your distance and not waste your own life time letting them filter your world through their eyes and views.

  8. A real prophet would say, "Lorenzo Carbonazi of 843 Petrine Avenue, Corleone, Italy will be the next Pope." Now that's impressive lol

  11. This is all so predictable. I clearly remember way back in 1978 when the previous pope - John Paul II - was elected and WCG folks at that time got their collective "panties in a wad" thinking here was the guy (since he was relatively young and vigorous for a pope, being only 58) to fulfill many of HWA's predictions for the end-time!

    Here's a qoute from an HWA co-worker letter dated January 3, 1980:

"Now into this tense situation, comes the new Polish Pope at Rome. Prophecy DOES, definitely, foretell a union of European nations bringing back to life the medieval “Holy Roman Empire.” (Revelation 17 and elsewhere.)
...The actual movement of world events as prophesied WARNS US that all this MAY now occur in the decade we entered day before yesterday – and, if delayed past 1990, most certainly during the decade of the 90s. TIME IS NOW SHORT! IT IS LATER THAN WE THINK! TIME is MARCHING ON – and PROPHECY is now being fulfilled!

And how did all that prophetic bluster eventually work out? John Paul II passed away of heart failure in his mid 80's in 2005, being the second longest serving pope in history (a bit over 26 years).

Now here we go again. Get ready for yet another round of highly touted proclamations by COG prophecy fanatics, only to see them fail once again.

These people are every bit as addicted to prophecy speculations as a street junkie is to heroin.

  12. Bob Thiel is as blind as Malm when striving to figure out that "false prophet." Bob Thiel wrote:

"...So, the above does give the Roman Catholics “wiggle room” if there remains more than one pope left. But if there is only one, the next one would likely be the False Prophet of Revelation 16:13..."

    What does that verse say?

:13 "And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet."

So, the verse mentions some false prophet. What is context of that verse?

:12 "And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared."

Context of the false prophet is relative to the 7 Vials, which aren't even poured out until way in the future AFTER Satan is loosed from the bottomless pit. The 7 Vials are God's wrath. So, we've got a long wait for that event to occur.

The 7 Trumps, are the wrath of the Lamb, and come into play prior to the 1,000 years, so-called Mickey Mouse (MM) Millennium.

When 7th Trump occurs, first resurrection takes place and the 7 Vials are enabled, but not poured out until much later...AFTER Satan is loosed from the pit and goes out to again deceive the entire world and again stir up worldwide war on this planet.

But Bob Thiel and Malm are welcome to follow their prophecies of that "false prophet" as they see it.

And those 10 kings, or nations, of Revelation 17 won't exist until AFTER the MMMillennium occurs and Satan is loosed from that pit.

    Time will tell...

  13. Dennis mentioned: "I am always curious about why a man feels the need to be special and gifted in God things. Men like Pack, Flurry, Weinland and others are a fascinating study in this phenomenon..."

This subject fascinates me too, Dennis.

Are you at all familiar with the work of the late Dr. Ernest Becker? He wrote a Pulitzer Prize-winning book called "The Denial of Death" published back in 1973, which was the culmination of his life's work. He wrote it as he himself was dying of cancer. A documentary film called "Flight from Death" was made back in 2005 based on Becker's insights into human motivation. I recently borrowed a copy of the DVD from a library, and thought the film quite thought-provoking. I highly recommend both the book and the film for some mind-expanding explanations into why we humans so easily buy into some of the loony beliefs we will readily die (and kill) for, and act on them in the way we do.

Here's a trailer for the movie:

  15. John, all your assertions with respect to biblical prophecy are equally as meaningless as those of Thiel or Malm. Why? Because you carelessly assume the collection of ancient writings called the Bible to be truly inspired by a Deity, both presuppositions you simply cannot produce adequate, demonstrable proof for. You preacher types are dreadfully ineffective communicators because you always start by assuming your audience buys into the same worldview that you do, without any evidence whatsoever, then you go onto quote scripture after scripture until the cows come home, and "enlighten" us with your interpretation of them. This is all a waste of time until you prove such scriptures are written for and relevant to current times.

  17. The false prophet in the Apocalypse was the "apostle Paul". I know, I know, you don't believe that...sorry, but he was anyway. The followers of Paul were called "antichrists" in the epistles of John too...but you don't believe that either, do you? Of course not, and that's why the doctrines of the proto-catholic church have been swallowed hook, line and sinker for 1900 years.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Just like all the "prophecies" of the Mayans & 2012, Nostradamus, Cayce, etc it wouldn't surprise me if after the next Catholic pope we have another pope and so the "prophecies" of Malachy are proven false too. As Paul wrote: "...whether there be prophecies, they shall fail" (1 Cor 13:8).

Of course it could also be a sign that he's being deluged with negative comments!

  22. Yeah, I remember growing up, hearing constantly that PJP was going to be the great Beast...though it was based on the rhetoric that he did/said so much for "ecumenicism" i.e., trying to make the Catholics the NWO.

That certainly wasn't true then, and it's not true now. You want to know who the Beast Power will be? Look no farther than the National Association of Evangelicals.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Never even heard of National Association of Evangelicals. What power do they have, at least the RC church has a fair amount of power. Most people are secular (especially outside of the US) and I don't see a whole bunch of them changing their minds for whatever reason. Don't care if someone starts performing miracles etc., I would probably conclude I was hallucinating before I would adopt a religious belief.

  24. A "Pope Piel" would get sued for copyright infringement.

But maybe if you act now, and there are two of them, only one would get sued, leaving the other to be a major player on Christian TV.

  25. Douglas referred to the Catholic Church as "The Sears of the Christian world".

I like that analogy. There were some things I almost bought on sears.com, but then changed my mind after noticing they actually came from third-party vendors.
(Sort of like the Catholic Church sells quite a few beliefs and rituals which actually are products of non-Christian third-party sources.)
