Would You Have The Guts To Do This? Paul Keane Donates Burial Plot For Boston Bomber

I offer the plot next to my mother (above photo)
in the Mt. Carmel Burying Ground in Mt. Carmel, Connecticut
to the Tsarnaev family, gratis.

I am willing to donate a burial plot next to my mother in Mt. Carmel Burying Ground to the Tsarnaev family if they cannot obtain a plot. The only condition is that I do it in memory of my mother who taught Sunday School at the Mt. Carmel Congregational Church for twenty years and taught me to"love thine enemy."

I own the plot.  No one can refuse me access.

Paul D. Keane
Master of Divinity '80
M.A., M.Ed.

(and this time I intentionally invoke my Yale Divinity School degree)

The Mount Carmel Congregational Church (Founded 1757) . My mother taught Sunday School and led the Junior Choir at this church for decades. I taught Sunday School there when I was sixteen.

  1. We want him to be buried in the plot next to Herbert Armstrong.

But I'm not certain what message that would send....

  2. Well, let's see now.

The USA sends seal team six around the world to kill civilians and engage in illegal covert warfare.

Now the enemy, dressed as seal team six are doing the same thing in America.

    What goes around comes around.

  4. On a serious note, I believe Paul Keane is doing some serious good here. If everyone around the world indulged in similar behavior, many very bad cycles would be broken. That's part of what Jesus was all about, and what He taught in His sermon on the mount. Breaking bad cycles by doing good.

  5. Only problem I see with this is, how is he so sure that Tsarnaev is his enemy? So far as I can tell, conclusive evidence has not been presented and tried in the so-called justice system proving this kid acted as an enemy. He might have. On the other hand, we just don't have the proof. And sorry, the "confession" by the brother who couldn't talk, under interrogation without a lawyer is suspiciously convenient. So, I think it's great someone is offering a place -- but I think it's appalling it has even come to that at all.

  6. Stick him in a bag, like Bin Laden, and dump him at sea. problem solved, and no kooks can make pilgrimages to his grave.

  7. A hearty AMEN to what you wrote BB!
The only way for these destructive cycles to be broken is for someone to step up & say "Enough! It all ends now!"
An excellent book I recommend people interested in learning about this kind of divine love that is SOOOO tough for us humans to follow is Gregory Boyd's The Myth of a Christian Nation

  8. The Christian teaching of "love thine enemy" only applies in the WCG if it doesn't involve any one of the 700+ competing ACOGs. If it involves the tithes of the dumb sheep, then all is fair in Philadelphia "agape" love and church war. The recent UCG and COGWA split is a good example of "loving thine enemy".

  9. There is no higher concept among the leaders of the churches of God than "love your money".

Well... maybe one: "Build your ego".

  10. "The recent UCG and COGWA split is a good example of "loving thine enemy"."

You must be speaking tongue-in-cheek, because both sides in that recent split accused the other of being influenced by SATAN, lol!
