Six Pack Flurry Tells Members To Stop Having Children Because They Are Close To End of the Age.

This was on Exit and Support today:

June 27, 2013
Gerald Flurry gave a sermon recently which instructed members not to have any more children because they are close to end of the age now. I believe that Flurry is using that as a clever tactic to swindle money from members. "End of the Age" sermon = $ --Resigned member (Trinidad)

The idea that some degenerate pig like this thinks he has the power to tell people to stop having kids because they may soon flee is appalling.  I used to half-way feel sorry for the members still stuck in his cult.  I no longer feel that way.  They know Flurry is lying pig and yet refuse to do anything about tit.  They deserve to have their money taken and to suffer the consequences when Six Pack and crew flee to Jerusalem and leave them all behind.

He's close to the end of the age but spends tens of millions of dollars on an appalling waste of money that he calls The House of God, and for apartments in Jerusalem so little Stevie and crew can have a place to hid out when the IRS investigates them.

  1. This is just ludicrous! Does Flurry actually believe that most children are planned? Or that accidents in birth control can't happen, or aren't frequent?

Basically, he is now intruding into his members' sex lives, because the only way in which they can be obedient is either through total abstinence or by relying totally on oral. Good luck on that one! I can't wait until he begins disfellowshipping his people for childbirth!

Attention, PCG members! Success in prophecy has not been one of the hallmarks or strong points amongst the teachers of Armstrongism. They guess wrong every single time! Check your Bible to learn about some better alternatives!

  2. Gerald Flurry has always been big on scaring members that Christ is just about to return.

The cover of the July 2009 issue of The Philadelphia Trumpet said that Christ would (probably) return within a decade.

What a terrible thing to say to people, especially considering the long history of false prophecies the COGs bear.

  3. If they keep that up, theyll kill themselves off like the Shakers. Geez

  4. GF recently told a Canadian audience that "...this great Church-State combine that's going to shock the world, probably within a year or two, or three."

A real prophet would at least drop the "probably" crap.

  5. I certainly did my part to keep the COG population low, I went into the PCG as a young single man, and came out as an old bachelor.

I was even told by the local minister (same 18 years ago), that I'll "probably" need not worry about my 3rd year tithe.

    LMAO!

They say, 10 minutes of belly laughter helps to take away 2 hours of pain...

  6. And if you do have children in the PCG, just leave them at the mall -- someone will take care of them.

  7. Yeah, Herbert & Co. started saying this in the late sixties and early seventies. It was a stupid thing to say then, and it seems even stupider to me for someone to say it now.

  8. Well, Flurry may have you abandon your kids at the mall, but Pack would rather you sell your kids and then give the money to his church!

  9. Then there's the Old Testament Statute that says you can sell your daughter.

Where does Flurry stand on that?

  10. Does Flurry allow vasectomy or tube tying?

  12. Apparently the infants crying during his sermons bothered him even more than we thought.

  13. Just when you think that the CoGs can't come up with anything stupider. Nothing new though...Paul, the apostle from Arabia, had the same idea. For the same reason too, "the time is short" (1 Cor. 7:29).

Yea, lo, but short means thousands of years so...that means a prophecy can never fail in your own lifetime.

  14. No, it isn't the children crying thing, he's already got that covered. Families with children are banished to the basement to watch on television. We wouldn't want to have a young toddler poop on the velvet seats in the House for God after all.

  15. Gerald Flurry the ANTI-FUN guy is at it again. The following probably just applies to the properly married couples in the PCG. The fornicators and adulterers are probably exempt from this ruling and free to go on doing what they have always done in the PCG. As for fleeing to a place of safety, yes, it is time for PCG members to smarten up and go from the PCG at any moment now.

Members Not to Have Any More Children; Told It's Time to Go at Any Moment:

    June 29, 2013

The sermon Flurry sent out to "all the churches" stated that the members "must not" have any more children under threat of being put out. He said if it means not having any more relations with the wives then it will just have to be that way. He told them it's time to go--at any moment--so having children is forbidden. --Former WCG & PCG member
