Dave Pack: The Incoming Remnant Are to Obey and Fear

Ultimately it is not about Dave's members fearing God.  They are to fear him.  Given his abysmal track record of spiritual abusing members, there may be a great excuse to fear Davey.  All of this great reunification event apparently is to happen in ONE day.  Good luck with that one!  Even Davey's god can't pull that off.

The best place to start is a simple review of a key portion in Haggai: “…ALL the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the Lord their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the Lord their God had sent him, and the people did fear before the Lord. Then spoke Haggai the Lord’s messenger in the Lord’s message unto the people, saying, I am with you, says the Lord. And the Lord stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel…and the spirit of Joshua…and the spirit of ALL the remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the house of the Lord [God’s Church] of hosts, their God, in the four and twentieth day of the sixth month…” (1:12-15).

The Hebrew for obeyed (shama) means “to hear intelligently (often with implication of attention): consider, diligently, discern, give ear, listen, (be) obedient, obey, perceive, regard, understand.” The context shows the remnant finally begins to hear God after decades of ignoring Him. Verse 12 describes the remnant as “fearing” God. This is not speaking primarily about the “fear of God.” Let’s see this. The Hebrew for fear means “to fear; to revere; to frighten: dread (-ful).” The word before is better translated “because of.” God does something that frightens the remnant and causes them to listen. Whatever this trauma is—you will learn it momentarily!—the people finally start listening to God. Thousands today who have God’s Spirit are NOT listening to Him. They are NOT “considering their ways” (Hag. 1:5, 7)—doctrines, standards, traditions, behavior, etc.

Haggai 1:14 also reveals the FIRST culminating event that occurs. GOD’S SPIRIT stirs His people to act, alongside a second culminating event that we will cover momentarily. The Hebrew for “stirred” in Haggai 1:14 means “(through the idea of opening the eyes); to wake: lift up, raise up, stir up.” This stirring is what causes all of God’s people to return from their “houses” to work again in GOD’S House. And notice the Scripture describes it culminating in a single day. God, through His Spirit, reassures His people that “I am with you” (in this case, back with them)—and to “fear not” in the human sense of fear—after He had previously removed them from His Church and held back blessings from their groups. Terribly frightened from what they saw, God now calms them so they can go forward in peace to fulfill His purpose.

  1. He seems to feel as if he really has all of this stuff sussed out, and he talks a good talk. The more detailed he makes it, the more people, will assume that he knows what he is talking about. The problem is we know way too much about HWA, and more than enough about Pack than to be taken in by all of it.

Been there, done that. HWA talked a good talk about 1975 once upon a time. He had all the answers, too. There may be a spirit at work here, but it's certainly not the one you'd want.

  2. Apostle JCP notes:

"the Scripture describes it culminating in a single day'

This will be one of those day after events where we are reminded "duh....I never said that it was literal. A day with the Lord is as a thousand years and a thousand years as a day...It's spiiiiiritual!"

  3. Would be "hilarious" is Gerald Flurry, Rod Meredith and Dave Pack all passed into the great beyond on the same day. I can't discern much difference between them with a kinder leaning towards RCM than the others.

Larry, Moe and Curly are already gone. Shem, Ham a Japheth are gone. Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are dust. Peter, James and John have been gone for a couple thousand years. The Three Bears along with Hear no evil, See No Evil and Speak no Evil abide forever.

However, please Jebus don't let RCM pass on August 31st at 86, which would not be abnormal but would fuel the fool. And please leave some room around the 30th and 1st so as to take into account Jerusalem time.

  4. I fear that Davey is in for a disappointment because he does not obey Scripture -- does he not know that God resists the proud?

    Read that somewhere.

    Guess he didn't.

    The Grim Reaper awaits him.

  5. 'After He had removed them from His church.' Does any believer see anything wrong with this?

If one is truly removed, they are no longer in the body of Yahshua (Not speaking of a corporate entity here)and thus no longer have the Holy Spirit.

If one does not have the Holy Spirit, then that one is no longer His. They can never come back for that would be to crucify once again.

This guy just talks crap. He does not know his Bible at all. He twists Zech 11 and reads over scripture not seeing the truth as plainly told.

A few simple verses and he says that they are in code and then acts as the code breaker. I don't know if to laugh or throw stones. In the old days he would be stoned. Perhaps he is, LOL, when he writes this stuff.

I will be so pleased when the true Elijah and true two witnesses show up, and put all of these fools out of business.

  6. I have no problem with the passages from Haggai...or even the idea that it can apply to a point in the future when the Church is gathered in one place........but, I have seen nothing that indicates DCP is involved with it in any way, and given his reputation I don't see how he is even remotely qualified to be "the one".....

but I see nothing in the scriptures to indicate DCP is involved in any way.....actually, given his reputation, I don't see how Mr. Pack is even remotely qualified to lead The Church.

  9. Honestly, to boil it down to my simplest thought, I just can't think of ANYTHING more boring than reading ancient bible verses trying to find arcane meanings with which to prophesize about our lives and our future. Haigii, Hagar, Eziekel, blah, blah, blah. I just want to say to these people, Get a life! Go smell some roses. Watch a good documentary on Netflix. Eat a BLT! Live today! Do something to help someone. Shut that old book and leave it alone. It has made you delusional.

  10. What a coincidence, it just so happens that today's feature on the Trumpet.com is a rerun show on the book of Zechariah.

The secret Bible code was revealed to Flurry long ago, by his god, and he is always one step ahead of Pack.

  11. I stared to read the latest screed Secular HB but gave up, I was skimming it and then said to myself, "who cares about this stuff, it's not real" and quit it. I don't have the patience to read all that meandering much

  12. DP has ruled with fear and intimidation for years. That is all he knows. It is easy to prove him wrong...if people would just read their Bibles and stop listening to him. II Tim. 3:16 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God".....Not every sermon, booklet, co-worker letter, announcement, etc.

  13. Well, you know, you have to have SOMEBODY to explain the wholly babble 'cause it definitely doesn't make any sense by itself.

Now, you take the story of Abram and his two wives and sons, for example. Who could have ever guessed that the story was an allegory about the two covenants, hmmmmm? But, Paul knew, Paul figured it out, and now everybody knows it's true - except the Jews, that is. They mistakenly think that they are Abraham's seed. How silly of them, huh? (Josh. 21:43-45)

The great apostle, Packatollah, is merely copying Paul's method of interpretation. That is to say, it means whatever he says it means.

  14. Pack says the poor will also come to his church. How in the hell could a poor person even qualify, much less survive his church financial obligations?

I know for a fact, that, both he and Flurry, turn away the poor on a regular basis.

Show me one poor fast-food employee who could just walk into the RCG or PCG in one day; he/she had better be attractive and available for ministers' sons/daughters.

  15. Over the past few days, I've been reading up on several of history's bad "gurus". While reading up on Charles Manson, I was totally blown away by the following quotation from a Wikipedia article. Check it out, and see if you recognize some archetypical thinking:

"On a bitterly cold New Years Eve at Myers Ranch, the Family members gathered outside around a large fire, and listened as Manson explained that the social turmoil he had been predicting had also been predicted by the Beatles. The White Album songs, he declared, told it all, although in code. In fact, he maintained (or would soon maintain) the album was directed at the family itself, an elect group that was being instructed to preserve the worthy from the impending disaster."

  16. I was just wondering. Is there anything else worth reporting going on in the ACOGs besides Pack?
