Dale Schurter: Now That Dave Pack Has Been Proven A Liar And False Prophet, Why Does He Cover Up For The Liar?

It is now the final day for the great reunification of David C Pack's pipe dream for a united Church of God.

Pack predicted many weeks ago that by the end of August, tens of thousands of Church of God members would be flocking to his church for a great final reunification of the Church of God that would result in the world's most astounding witness ever to happen in human history.

So far, many COG's are reporting that they are NOT losing any members to Dave. Ministers have not jumped ship in droves bringing hundreds of members with them.  The three COG leaders have not died, and that includes Bob Thiel who was never considered one of thee three to begin with.  Bob is nothing more than a pimple on Dave's butt, an irritation perhaps, but irrelevant and unimportant.

In January of 2012, Dave Pack made a huge deal about Dale Schurter defecting from the United Church of God.  Dave, in his usual narcissistic over-the-top bullshit mode, hailed the defection as the greatest event in COG history.

Dale wrote a letter to the COG's membership hoping to influence people into joining Dave's personality cult.  No one did, thankfully. People saw though Dale's bullshit.

Dale wrote:

When we were led to the Restored Church of God, and did due diligence in our research, we confirmed to our satisfaction that the works and fruits of this organization were of God. Christ is the Head of this Church. We saw Christ at work through one He had called and appointed to finish the work --- to fulfill the prophecy of Revelation 10:11, which we should all know, “You must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.” This prophecy was on Mr. Armstrong’s mind, especially in his latter years.

The first time this was done was in the 20th century. This was the first time it was possible to fulfill such a commission. This was accomplished by God through His appointed leader and support team of the entire membership of the Worldwide Church of God. Now, just before the work of the two witnesses begins, the instruction is for His Church to repeat --- under the leadership He has appointed and sent (one sent from Him) --- yes, under another Apostle --- to “prophesy (preach, proclaim) again before many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings.”

We have found and confirmed to ourselves that the Restored Church of God is just what its name implies. And that Mr. David C. Pack is the one sent, an end time Apostle, through whom Jesus Christ, the head of the Church, is powerfully working.
Now that Dave his been exposed as a liar and a false prophet, who predicted many things that did not come to pass, WHY are you still supporting the degenerate false prophet?  To continue to hitch your wagon to Dave's death train shows how theologically ignorant you are.  You would rather whore yourself out to a lying man that to follow the "christ" you claim to follow.

Shame on you and The Sixteen other ministers who are sitting there pretending that Dave is still 100% correct.  Shame! Shame!

  1. Dale Schurter and the other Pharisees with RCG are no doubt liars too. They will cover-up for Pack like the false teachers in most of the other groups.

  2. when they bring up HWA as justification for what they are doing, they expose themselves as followers of a man.....they may not realize it, but HWA is the object of their worship, not Jesus.

of course, they will deny this anytime it's suggested, but that's how deceived people are, they can't help it.

bottom line is, they are looking for a man to lead them, just as the Roman Catholics look to the pope.....

  3. As the last embers of sunlight dim on the eastern horizon, so do the last embers of hope that Davey Joshua's god is going to come through and make good on all the delusional things that Dave's been spouting for months.

Are you a scoffer if you ridicule a liar for lying? Dave has been putting his mouth in some pretty ridiculous places. Will the money appear where Dave's mouth has been? The proof is in the pudding, and the time for Dave's god to show us the money is just about up. Will he come through for Dave in the nick of time, or leave him high and dry? The suspense is killing me. Okay, not really.

  4. All the Cult of Herbert Armstrong leaders are all willing to tell the truth, right up to the time it might cost them some money -- then it's lies, cover ups, covering up the cover ups and making the whole thing undiscussible.

Anyone who practices and / or believes the teachings of a man are following that man.

The Armstrongists are still following a dead false prophet.

  5. If any of these leaders of the Cult of Herbert Armstrong believed in God, they would be cowering in fear.

Because judgment is not executed speedily (if at all), the minds of men are turned to brazen acts where angels would fear to tread (except of course, the fallen ones they follow).

Congratulations to all you of the CoHA for proving that you do NOT believe in the God you preach and for confirming that none of us have need to fear you at all because you are so full of it.

  6. I never had a heck of a lot of respect for Dave in the first place. If I recall correctly, he was the only guy I ever saw wearing his high school letterman's jacket on the AC campus.

Butt.....a few years ago when he ordained himself as an apostle, I took it as an indication that he had officially entered Fantasyland. Then came all of the ridiculous attention-grabbing comments, the hyperbole, and the exploitative style of church governance. Way before this last farcical round, I had written him off as any serious kind of contender in the already ludicrous world of the ACOGs.

The problem is, what now? It would be nice if all of the assholes in our lives reacquainted themselves with the concept of embarrassment, and crept off into ignominy. But, somehow, they never do. In my mind, this idiot has discredited himself with all of those whom I see as important. That is us. Nothing he says from this point on is either credible, or potentially important. He wrote checks with his mouth that there is no way can be cashed, and all based on his own delusions of self-importance. Fact is, he has proven himself to be a nobody, a great big zero. Most importantly, our eternal God has not given him any kind of status or authority.

As Tom Petty would sing, "Make Dave Pack go away!" Not sure it rhymes with Joe Piscopo, or Vanessa Redgrave, but those words belong in the song, too!

  7. I think I would even pay to know what is going through the mind of the average RCG member this day. What sort of thought processes are being used to rationalize this epic exposure of the man they follow?
Certainly a few, somehow, would find this to be the last straw and realize they have been part of a charade of an organization, and will bid the RCG farewell for good?

  8. I love the Buddhist observation of:

"When I was young, mountains were just mountains, rivers were just rivers and trees were just trees.

But when I was older, mountains were not just mountains, rivers were not just rivers and trees were not just trees...

But now that I am old...mountains are just mountains, rivers are just rivers and trees are just trees.."

Meaning. When I came into this world things were just as they are. As I got older, I assigned meanings to everything I saw. When I was old, I realized that things are just as they are...

  10. Now, that David C. Pack now has a well-documented record of being a false prophet and religious charlatan...it's time for all RCG members/ministers/coworkers to make a decision.

The COG world has had to suffer through this man's seemingly endless announcements, letters, and been plagued by ads from RCG every time we search for anything related to the COG on the Internet. Frankly, many in the COG are sick of Pack and RCG. You have been in our face with your self-righteous rhetoric for far too long.

Mr. Pack has proved before many witnesses that he is a lying prophet and incompetent to be any kind of COG leader. To continue to follow him and his teachings is a mistake that you don't want to make. If you make excuses for him...you are as guilty as he is. It's easy to prove him wrong...especially, when you can use his own words against him. God never gets it wrong! It's time for all of us in the various COG organizations to look to Him and stop following fallible men.

  12. Why would people think that some man standing behind a lectern knows more about some "GOD" than the people he is preaching at when it's impossible to know anything about it? What? He knows the Bible better than they do? Yeah, maybe, but that doesn't mean anything about his interpretation of it.

Hey, maybe your own interpretation is better...why not? Because the man behind the lectern says so? How would he know? Does he have a special channel to this "GOD"?

Ha! He doesn't even know what a "GOD" is and neither does anyone else.
