Tattoos are linked to criminal behavior, sexual perversion, rebellion and personal vanity. The desire to have a tattoo finds its origins in the mind of the god of this world, Satan the devil, who was lifted up by his own vanity which led to his rebellion (Ezekiel 28:17; Isaiah 14:13-14).
The mind numbing stupidity that comes out the Philadelphia Church of God never fails to surprise me. Besides Dave Pack, no other Church of God is filled with such theological depraved idiots as those in the Philadelphia Church of God. I don't think these jerkwads have a Godly bone in their bodies.
A Lessons From Lawn Bowling - PCG Style
The motivation is a lot simpler than PCG charges. People get tattoos out of birthmark envy.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Flurry doesn't like tattoos. But, excessive tattoos have become a national trend, and it is ridiculous to assume that most of the people who have them are any worse as a group than those who don't. You can't make that direct correllation between tattoos and evil. (Revelation tells us that Jesus has one!) Tattooed people are just another flavor of followers, who conform to a different standard to express their nonconformity. It is a social thing, not a moral or ethical one.
ReplyDeleteIt is a good thing that no new people are being attracted to the ACOGs, because can we all imagine what would happen if there were a sudden influx of twenty-somethings? Little old ladies would be walking up to the newbies, and asking, "Young lady, were you a Satanist, or were you a Lesbian before you came into God's Church?"
This is nothing different from their 1960's attitudes towards beards or long hair. Following national youth trends, in their minds, makes you a worse or higher level of sinner. They pull this crap, periodically just to keep their own kids in line. A couple of years ago, there was a minor trend towards men trimming their sideburns even with the top of the ear. 1/2" less facial protein, and of course Dave Pack just had to condemn it as being effeminate.

In other words, "God wants me to be totally prejudiced against anyone with a tattoo, and God won't like you unless you do the same." Once you see that tattoo, you already know they're pure, unadulterated evil, and that's all you need to know!

"Those Who Have Tattoos are Vanity Filled Rebellious People Who Are Into Satanism, Sexual Perversions, and Criminal Behavior"
ReplyDeleteSO! That's the reason I don't have any tattoos. No...actually, I've noticed that it's the religious folks who have the tattoos. No, wait...it depends on the type of tattoo.
Prison tattoos, for example...nope, damn it, those are mostly on Xian believers behind bars or their homeboys. Just can't seem to find them on the right people...
Not saying that Satanists don't have tattoos but I wouldn't know because I don't know any Satanists. I bet PCG preachers don't know any Satanists either.
I bet they're right about the "vanity" part though. Yep, I bet that anybody who sports tattoos are full of vanity. Rebellious? Well, not necessarily...but vain, yes. You know, like that Master Sargent in the Marines with the big eagle on his...yeah, that guy.
Come to think of it, Joseph W. Tkach Sr. had a tattoo on his arm.
ReplyDeleteExplains a lot, doesn't it? :-)
I'm charmed with the PCG's ignorance! A tattoo is no different than writing the law on ones heart. It a mental tattoo.
ReplyDeleteWho is this jack-off who wrote this and why does he take opportunities to set himself above others?
Hint: The worn starts with a "N" and it ain't what a certain race calls themselves......
...or you could say he's a self righteous son of a bitch...
The choice is yours.
Oh for goodness sake! Didn't GTA have tattoos as I recall seeing in the footage of him sexually harassing a masseuse back in the 1990s?! So maybe the sexual perversion part is right?! Oh but what about HWA?! He didn't have any tattoos that I'm aware of and yet he was even more sexually perverse than GTA who did have tattoos seeing he had incest with his own daughter!
ReplyDeleteI guess PCG's prejudicial labelling of people with tattoos is nothing more than the typical Armstrongist OCD mentality of obsessing about the external and superficial! Like MLK said, "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the colour of their skin but by the content of their character." I guess prejudice remains more alive in "the church" than anywhere else in society so much so that rather than being a real pioneer and leading the way in confronting and not tolerating prejudice and discrimination against people who look different they're promoting such hate-filled generalizations and will forever remain a long way behind other Christians who, following Christ, don't judge a book by its cover and have grown up rather than remain immature and childish in their relationships and outlook.
I graduated from AC in 73, served 32 years in the military, do not have any tattoos, but know many in the military who do. For this dickhead to make such stupid claims is ridiculous, like so much of what he says. I would like for this jerk to enter a biker bar and preach his ignorance to them, or to a veterans organization. He wouldn't last 20 minutes.
ReplyDeletePCG says "criminal behavior, sexual perversion, rebellion and personal vanity" like it's a bad thing.
ReplyDeleteGTA also had some tattoos...
The PCG is filled with rebellious people who are into Satanism, sexual perversions and criminal behavior.
ReplyDeleteAt minimum, they have a false prophet as a leader and the Biblical standard is that he is to be put to death: Having him as a leader is worshipping Satan.
And while we are at it (in the sexual perversion thing, including child abuse), have you PCG members who have children with disabilities dropped them off in a shopping mall yet to obey the pronouncements of your PCG minister?
If not, you are defying the living god of the Philadelphia church of god, which, in this case, is Satan the Devil.
Here's a solution for you: Each of you PCG ministers get a tattoo on your forehead which says, "Worshipper of Satan".
That will about take care of the problem.
Now, you PCG Leader, go back to drinking yourself drunk on a six pack.

ReplyDeleteThe way I see it is...Posing as "That Prophet" is linked to criminal behavior, sexual perversion, rebellion and personal vanity. The desire to be "Vicar of Christ", finds its origins in the mind of the god of this world, Satan the devil, who was lifted up by his own vanity which led to his rebellion...
ReplyDeleteThen those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth (that prophet) that should come into the world. John 6:14
