David C Pack Buys A Weed Patch To Expand His Little Work Upon

Checkout the slide show about Dave Pack's Restored Church of God cult compound in Wadsworth Ohio.  The best picture is of God's most important man to ever walk the earth since Jesus, standing in a bunch of weed's cutting a plastic fence.

Will this be the future home of Dale Schurter's mind-boggling agricultural extravaganza that will embarrass Ohio State University's agricultural program?

Check out the slide show here.

  1. Oh the humanity of it! All I can feel is the crunch/snap of Adena and Hopewell Arrowheads and spears just under the ground. Sigh....

  3. Mr. Pack, Mr. Weinland, Mr.Thiel and all the others miss the main point. In order to be a mini HWA, they need to buy a jet plane. Until then, they are all imposters. FYI - the members will really have to dig deep for the jet.

  4. Deja Vu! Takes me back to the mid-fifties and after. Same kind of hoopla and bombast! How can people be so dumb as to fall for the same crap over and over? It's such a blessing to be far far away from it all!

  5. The high tension wires that span the majestic RCG campus are simply electrifying- you will be shocked, amazed and stunned beyond belief; you may even get a 60Hz buzz as you experience the awesome power of the staggering electromagnetic field!

  6. In a way, I believe that most of us here are spoiled by the sheer availabiliity of knowledge to us, that is forbidden to those behind the ACOG curtain.

We have pictures here which serve as an example of what happens to campuses built by such "leaders". They are sold as scrap to developers or other religious groups, the proudest edifices are demolished and the ruins carried off to the dump, and commercials and television shows are shot in and around some of the remaining buildings. Worse yet, there is no accounting for the financial proceeds coming from the liquidation of the assets. The bottom line is, ten, twenty, thirty years after the fact, there is nothing to show for all of the effort, belief, and sacrifice! Surely the people who responded to the so-called "Clarion Call" must be oblivious as to what happened not to one, or two Herbert W. Armstrong campuses, but all three!

I hope that none of them end up homeless and eating dog food. We also know that in Armstrongism, long term loyal employees who were exempted from Social Security were let go in a series of business decisions as the original campuses wound down.

I don't even consider David Pack or Gerald Flurry to be effective as businessmen, because they watched the empire of the man they worship come to nought, and know they are making horrible investments, being bad stewards of their members' tithes and offerings. But, they feel this irresistible compulsion to imitate HWA. Statistically, and metaphoriclly, it makes about as much sense as shooting heroin, because the minute you start, you know the outcome.

Patience Anon. I am sure that is on the agenda. There is an airport just on the other side of the woods if I recall Google Earth of the area. On the other hand, I'm not sure there are all that many places to fly to yet or ever.

  9. I wonder if Moses had some sort of ribbon or fence cutting ceremony when they finally arrived at the promised land and if so, I wonder if he just stepped across the line momentarily just to mess with his god :)

  10. More evidence that DCP is a fraud and liar, he knows that the dates he proclaims are bogus because he spends the money like there IS a tomorrow. He is a fraud.

  11. I can just picture Six Pack Flurry, with his perpetually constipated looking face, on Hee a Haw. What a depressing thought!

Is he even capable of smiling?

If he was a truly happy person his members would not be subjected to such asinine bullshit rules and regulations.

Great will be the day when he is gone.

  12. Remember, these are people who will not repent when they commit the same sins or errors as HWA.

With economic conditions being what they are, especially in the rust belt, there should be a plethora of former corporate headquarters, or other appropriate facilities which could be purchased for pennies on the dollar, and renovated to suit the needs of these groups. That's one thing you have to admire about Calvary, Scientology, or some of the other similar groups.
