SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT #21 FRIDAY, JULY 5, 2013
Why Reunification SOON! (Formerly "Now")
This announcement presents many reasons that reunification is drawing near. There is much PROOF!
Let’s recall again. Previous announcements explained why Haggai 1:15 describes this event as happening “in the second year of Darius the king.” For those who believe this date pertains to the Persian King Darius (who lived over 2,500 years ago), remember that the modern Zerubbabel is also described as the “son of Shealtiel” and Joshua as the “son of Josedech.” Let’s reason together. The modern TYPES of these two men are obviously NOT sons of these two fathers of long ago. The Bible is obviously speaking in code about what are two modern leaders. Mr. Armstrong knew the ancient Zerubbabel having been born to a man named Shealtiel had nothing to do with his prophetic fulfillment of this role. The same would be true of the modern Joshua regarding the irrelevancy of the ancient figure Josedech.

Similarly, the description of the timing of fulfillment must also be in code...."
Apostle Pack says that God is obviously speaking in code. Does any God have to speak in "code"? Why would He do that? I'm thinking that the Apostle wants God to speak in code so he can decipher the code as he wishes. Frankly it is ridiculous theology to believe such baloney and those who accept this code talking God are being foolish beyond belief.

Over the course of my life, I've encountered others who make something up and then claim to be the experts in it, as well as the ones who have the keys to unlock its meaning. They literally create their own importance, and by buying into it all, followers accept them as truth-revealing gurus. And then it feeds on itself and grows.
ReplyDeleteBut, perhaps the strongest pertinent example would be that the parables of Jesus (far more important) were not left unexplained for the people who live 2,000 years later. Also, there were some things which were said to be unknowable to humans, such as the date and time of Jesus' return. Code isn't even mentioned in the Bible, to my knowledge.
Pack is attempting to draw unwarranted parallels, and claiming to be the only one who can understand. Then he takes his speculation and attempts to use it to manipulate people. If people question that, he cites the Lake of Fire as punishment for failure to listen to an apostle, an office to which he ordained himself. It's the same old script he learned so well from HWA, although the results for both men are failure.

Yep, it's all in code and I'M the only one who knows the code. It's an "allegory" and only I know the meaning of the allegory - Apostle Paul (Gal. 4:11-31)
ReplyDeleteSounds like another Joseph Smith. The story teller of old.
