About a decade ago, evangelist R.C. Meredith and I were talking and he agreed with various points I was raising about the end time work. And back then, I was able to help lead him to essentially state that in the end it would not mainly be the message of the COG vs. the Protestants, but it would be the COG basically vs. the ecumenical religion that will rise up in the end that will likely (for a while) refer to itself as “Catholic.” In 2005, during the Feast of Tabernacles in Clearwater Beach, after a private lunch, we and our wives met at his hotel room and I also discussed various aspects of the final phase of the work with him–and I had other meetings, discussions, and emails related to that with the other Charlotte evangelists through December 14, 2012. Yet, even though he and others in his church agreed to take many steps related to the final phase of the work, few, if any, of the promised steps were taken by his group–this is a major part of why the Continuing Church of God needed to form.
Bob Thiel just CANNOT get over the fact that Rod Meredith ignored his prophetic utterances Meredith failed to realize that Thiel is now the only human channel God is working through on this demon-possessed earth.
He's still angry that although he sees "prophet" as a higher rank than "evangelist", Rod still didn't just give him the keys to LCG and put him in charge.
ReplyDeleteIts really kind of pitiful.
Could it be that this input was ignored because it was of no value?

Yes Bob, you are a weirdo without portfolio or credentials. You simmered so long in your vanity over your supposed "intellectualism" that you actually thought you were, to analogize a Bible story, the man who the king delighted to honor.
ReplyDeleteWhen I first found out about COGwriter, my first reaction was, "How the hell is this little sycophant being allowed to get away with this?" Unofficial peanut galleries were not allowed to exist under HWA, even if they were of an apologetic or cheerleading nature. Everything had to come from Herbie, or people had to cease or desist under penalty of disfellowshipment. Any additional support from the bottom of the stack was considered totally unnecessary, impertinent, and irrelevant.
ReplyDeleteAnd, look at what has happened. For some reason, Uncle Roddy permitted it to go on, and little sycophant's ego grew, to the point where he feels compelled to overwhelm his master. This is not going to end well!

ReplyDeleteThiel is a wealthy quack doctor, and for many years gave LCG some of its biggest tithes and offerings.
Rod fawns over wealthy donors. He likes to flatter them so they feel like his "special advisors" and keep on giving generously.
Eventually, Thiel figured out that Rod was interested in his money, not his doctrinal ideas.
One of these days, we might get to hear about how Gaylyn Bonjour feels about all this. The poor man probably had to listen to Thiel's dribble at length.
ReplyDelete5:08~ That is the best and most logical explanation for the Thiel phenomenon that I've ever seen. It's a variation of a stereotype, as in the body builder who wants to be respected for his intellect. The old "unrequited love" thing!
ReplyDeleteWhat do you want from life? Well, you can't have that, but .....
Now, Bummer Bob is seeking to have all of his unrequited desires fulfilled, not thru his mentor, but on his own. Since he picked such weird non-mainstream stuff to work with, that method isn't working, either. Since he is processing it all not only externally, but as an outright exhibitionist, it's going to bring him nothing but grief and derision. But, bring on the chips and salsa! It's going to be fun to watch!
This is probably also a good model to explain Dave Pack, a man who virtually threw away a million dollar business to pursue the same unrequited "stuff". What is it with these naturopaths?

I think Thiel is a rougarou
