Dibar Apartian: HWA Was Against Meredith Being A Church Leader And That LCG Is NOT A Godly Organization

Things have never been rosy in the Living Church of God headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina.  Power struggles and dissension have always plagued the organization since Meredith split off from two previous COG's..

Bob Thiel, leader of the greatest COG to ever to exist in human history, has an entry up today that he claims was sent to him by a former LCG employee in Charlotte.

Of course this sets Thiel into orgasmic fits of ecstasy that he can discredit Meredith and crew further.  The more he can smear Meredith the more he thinks people will flock to his personalty cult.  Except they aren't......Thiel's visions of grandeur are just as stupid as Dave Pack's.

I just wanted to write you about Mr. Apartian and what he REALLY felt about LCG and its leaders.

I know that Dibar Apartian expressed serious concern for the LCG brethren, as he made comments about the "true colors" of LCG's upper leadership would come out after his death-which is exactly what happened.

Mr. Apartian told several LCG members, whom he trusted, that LCG was no longer God's true Church, and was no longer even a Godly church.

Mr. Apartian was against the "falling away" doctrine, just as John Ogwyn was against it also.

Mr. Apartian also knew that Herbert W. Armstrong was vehemently against Rod Meredith being the human leader of the church. Mr. Apartian always felt uneasy about following Rod Meredith, since he knew HWA's feelings about that.

Mr. Apartian was also having private meetings, near the end of his life, with ministers of different Church of God groups-one of those ministers, whom Mr. Apartian met with, told me about their meetings in person. Those private meetings were about Mr. Apartian leaving LCG.

However, due to his rapidly failing health and a few other reasons, he stayed with LCG.

He did make it very clear though, that LCG was heading the wrong direction, in terms of doctrine and other major decisions as well.

Mr. Apartian was also very upset about Rod Meredith's lack of compassion and concern for him, while he was near his death.

Rod Meredith had heard about some of Mr. Apartian's revealing comments about LCG, and Meredith was not happy.

Therefore, Rod Meredith did not visit much with Mr. Apartian towards the end, and Meredith even discouraged other LCG members from visiting with Mr. Apartian-worried that more negative facts about LCG would "get out."

I hope this info is helpful-God's people need to know the truth about LCG and about Rod Meredith

  1. Of course Thiel had no problem being Meredith's lap dog as long as he was permitted to spew his bullshit with LCG's apparent approval. It's only after Meredith had reservations about kooky old Thiel speculating on Obama and pagan prophecies that Thiel started to question Spanky. Robert, you were an embarrassment to even the lowly LCG members and that's why you were culled. It's not that hard understand.

  2. Convenient, since Dibar Apartian died in 2010 and can neither confirm or deny....

It's too bad Dave wasn't elected as supreme pontiff back in the good old days before Vatican II came along and flushed all the great stuff down the toilet.

    I love the background music!!

I can see it now... 21st Century Apostle David C Pack being carted around on the Sedia Gestatoria (flanked on each side with the flabellum) through the parking lot of the Wadsworth Giant Eagle as the throngs of reunited COG faithful make their march to the glorious Hall of Administration!!

  5. Back in the early to mid 90s , Tkach tried to pull this same kind of crap. He would say "Herbert Armstrong wanted these changes, and he told me so right before he died that he wanted to change the Sabbath, and change to the Trinity , etc, etc."

Tkach would also claim that he wanted to record this, but that HWA would not allow it. How convenient for Tkach to claim the authority for radical changes from Armstrong, without any documentable evidence of any kind.

Thiel is pulling the same stunt. Hiding behind someone who is dead and unable to confirm the outlandish statements from Thiel.

Meredith himself said that they used to "humor" Bob back in his LCG days, in effect "rolling their eyes a bit", but trying to encourage him to come back to Earth in a gentle manner.

  6. Bobby Thiel, you can set up a "flabella fund" now, just like your old-timey Armstrong cult had a building fund, etc.
Tell your rubes, "Do you want to listen to The Holy Spirit and get me some flabella, or not?"

That should get you enough money for at least one flabellum!

  7. If Apartian felt the way Bitter Bob says he did, yet he chose to stay on the LCG payroll at tithe-payer expense, then he was just another amoral tithe-farmer and hireling, without a conscience, trying to sponge off Meredith instead of stand up for truth.

Bob's accusations, if they are true, don't make Bob look any better. They make Apartian look worse. A lot worse.

  8. Mr. Apartian was against the "falling away" doctrine, just as John Ogwyn was against it also.

Was LCG even teaching their new "falling away" doctrine during Apartian's lifetime? Looking at their Tomorrow's World and Living Church News publications online, it doesn't seem so. LCG certainly wasn't teaching that new doctrine during John Ogwyn's lifetime.

Pointing out that John Ogwyn didn't teach a doctrine that LCG introduced in 2012 is like pointing out that Jesus never taught that the United States was Manasseh.

If we're going to say that John Ogwyn was against LCG's new doctrines, don't we also have to say that John Ogwyn was also against Bob Thiel's new doctrines... as neither was introduced until after Ogwyn's death? I don't think Bitter Bob can have it both ways.

Unlike Dibar Apartian--and Robert Thiel--I will personally respect Herbert W. Armstrong's great wisdom in this matter and NOT follow Roderick Meredith.

Come back to earth? Give it up, guys. There is no hope. Bob Thiel is lost in space.

  12. Everybody has opinions. To share, or not to share, is where wisdom comes into play. As we are seeing now, some of these opinions can be used after the fact, to undermine in self serving ways. I'm sure there was always considerable infighting behind the scenes, but before the splinter era, a united front was always presented, because people had a sense of common purpose that superseded petulant bickering.

Bob Thiel needs to develop a business model and come up with a well-defined mission statement, and to focus upon that. Meredith, Apartian, Winnail, and any of the people Thiel feels negatively about should not be a part of his presentation. Unfortunately, he has made this all about whining over his "ex's".

  13. A true prophet would not be wasting their time bringing up past human failings or current pettiness as performed by those that don't have important things to do.

One cannot raise oneself up by putting others down. To do so, shows a childish carnal nature and a sense of entitlement.

Stop thinking so much of yourself Bob, it is unbecoming and clearly shows that you are no prophet of the living Elohim.
