Since Elijah Passover Pack is the MAN, there can be no others to come after him that can be Elijah. It is an absolute impossibility. Anyone who claims such a name is an imposter.
God does not just give truth to apostles; he gives to truth to his church through apostles. That's the way he does it, it's his chosen method of conveyance, if you will, of all doctrine, so I couldn't just hold it myself, I had to also teach it, and the chips have to fall where they may. And imagine knowing these things and not teaching it, well we could lose some people. I know there's some people who might get through the first three points, they'll knee jerk do hard they'll knock their own teeth out and they'll go running out of the hall to the dentist; I understand that, that's just the way some people are, they won't listen. I know our enemies, some who've left and others, AH they'll just play on emotion, "Claims he's Elijah!" No, they won't listen to a hundred and thirty points. The case is air tight – it's air tight. There's no possible way somebody else is gonna come along, and even if they did they'd just say the same things, and meet all these parallels. And that's assuming they'd even identify Moses. And then they'd have to start all over and do everything; it's impossible, there's nobody else coming.
"I know our enemies, some who've left and others, AH they'll just play on emotion, "Claims he's Elijah!" No, they won't listen to a hundred and thirty points. The case is air tight – it's air tight."
ReplyDeleteYep, this is "air tight" all right. Just like this other one was "standing on bedrock."
"I repeat: There are many more reasons for a 2013 fulfillment, with a few of a personal nature—and others involving God moving miraculously to reveal crucial things at certain times within an extraordinarily complex prophecy that involves hundreds of verses. I have not included all of these reasons because others would likely not accept them as legitimate. They are, however, on MY much longer list (now 56 total). And these reasons stand on bedrock in the eyes of ALL our Headquarters ministers."
Air tight my ass.
So, send in the money, hurry. :/ For those in RCG who reads this blog, RUN, as fast as you can, while you can. Get some help to exit, it will be difficult because you have been skillfully conditioned to stay, but goggle "cult, exit, help" and more. It's not too late. You will find that there are many many people and help groups who love you and who will help you, for free. If you can't run, just drop out, don't answer the phone or change the number, change your email address, if the minister shows up at the house, open the door and scream "Get the fuck out of here and don't ever come back!", if they do, call the cops. Mr. Pack is mentally ill and he will continue to hurt you, it will end badly. Get out.
ReplyDeleteI would like to hear from anyone who was in Pack's cult and who knows the personalities involved (including the membership). Do you think this will end in violence, or will it just fizzle out? Pack is getting creepier and more self-obsessed by the minute.
ReplyDeleteHey, all the next "Elijah" has to do is claim the last one was more like Moses, and didn't fully understand his role. This is apparently what we see unfolding before us in the present. Elijah Herbert is now Moses Herbert, so that Elijah Dave can be Elijah.
ReplyDeleteIn answer to the person concerned about the violence, these churches teach against it. However, serious mental unbalance has caused people in the past to ignore that teaching within some of these groups. What I think we are witnessing right now is one person's extreme frustration that he has not received the attention which he feels are due to himself, and his ministry. The interesting thing is this: We see his activity. It is visible to us only because of our past interests in Armstrongism. It has yet to reach the level to where it bubbles up in the evening news. Harold Camping had greater attention.
We do know that some people will make some emotion-based mistakes in Dave's favor, unnecessarily ruining their financial situations. Young, impressionable people and more sensitive types will be scared by the irrational hyperbole. There could even be some individual suicides, although that is probably a remote possibility at this point. But, this is certainly not a situation that is conducive to a balanced life, or good mental health.
This "mouth that roared" out of Wadsworth generally has very little of what you might call a lasting effect. The results which he seeks are not happening. That is why he comes back again, and again with "incredible" utterances.

Sing along time... Sing to the tune of "If I Were a Rich Man" from "Fiddler on the Roof"...
ReplyDeleteIf I were the Elijah Man,
All day long I'd biddy biddy bum.
If I were the Elijah Man!
I'd build a big tall compound with rooms by the dozen,
Right in the middle of the town.
A fine tin roof with real wooden floors below.
There would be one long staircase just going up,
And one even longer coming down,
And one more leading nowhere, just for show.
I see my wife, Mrs. Pack, looking like a rich man's wife
With a proper double-chin.
Supervising meals to her heart's delight.
I see her putting on airs and strutting like a peacock.
Oy, what a happy mood she's in.
Screaming at the brethren, day and night.
The most important men in the COG would come to fawn on me!
They would ask me to advise them,
Like a Solomon the Wise.
"If you please, Elijah Pack ..."
"Pardon me, Elijah Pack..."
Posing problems that would cross anyones eyes!
And it won't make one bit of difference if i answer right or wrong.
When you're Elijah, they think you really know!
If I were the Elijah Man,
All day long I'd biddy biddy bum.
If I were the Elijah Man!
The case is air tight – it's air tight. There's no possible way somebody else is gonna come along,
ReplyDeleteOral Roberts got like this before he disappeared.
LOL
The case is airtight, which means he's working in a vacuum.
ReplyDeleteExplains a lot.
No oxygen to the brain.
For those who don't know who the "Elijah" to come was...it wasn't John the Baptist. That's who the disciples of Jesus thought was Elijah. He wasn't, and even denied it.
ReplyDeleteIt was Jesus who fulfilled the role of Elijah. John did no miracles, in the likeness of Elijah or otherwise, it was Jesus who did that. Jesus healed the sick, like Elijah, fed the hungry, like Elijah, raised the dead, like Elijah.
Don't take my word for it, that's what the book says. Jesus fulfilled both roles, Elijah and the Messiah. Not hard to figure out if you read it.
The problem is that the Elijah was supposed to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the children to the fathers or else God would curse the earth with a curse, according to Malachi. But, the Elijah failed in that regard and the "church" split into at least 2 factions during the time of Paul and into many thousands of sects later and they all hate each other.
There is no New Elijah coming...that was mankind's last chance and they missed it.
How can you tell Mr. Pack is lying? His lips are moving.
ReplyDelete"No, they won't listen to a hundred and thirty points."
ReplyDeleteGee, Davey, what was your first clue?
Keith called me from Parrot Cay on the Caicos Islands early this morning. He's been following this ridiculous turn of events, and said that him and Mick and the guys are well aware of their responsibilitues outlined in Luke 19:40. "I tell you, he replied, If they keep quiet, The Stones will cry out!" So, all of history does not rest on Dave's shoulders. Other, more capable individuals are ready to shoulder the responsibilities, Dave's huge ego notwithstanding.

Is this the Rolling Stones who did the "Their Satanic Majesties Request" album?
