Herbert Armstrong's Tangled Web of Corrupt Leaders

Dave Pack puts faith in his doctor's and goes under the surgeons knife instead of relying on his god for healing

It seems that Dave Pack, the worlds most incredible leader of the most superfantabulous Church of God to ever exist in human history, has not placed his entire faith in the one who is supposed to heal him of all infirmities.

Dave had surgery a little over two weeks ago and is now recovering and healing thanks to his doctors.

God must surely be displeased in the rotten example he has set yet again for his membership.  While they struggle with health issues and fear going to doctors, Davie has been taking full advantage of their expertise and healing powers.  Davie is in good company though as he is following in the footsteps of Herbert Armstrong, Rod Meredith and Gerald Flurry who all placed more faith in their doctors than the power of their gods.

  1. Dave's "this is why God told me it was ok" will be profound, clever and hilariously stupid

  2. Well, the pastor sociopaths have had LOTS of practice at this since Rod "Spanky" Meredith got the Herbie blessing to have his detached retina surgically repaired back in 1970 or thereabouts.

  3. This is just another demonstration that the Cult of Herbert Armstrong Mafia don't really believe in faith healing, but insist that you have to.

Frankly, they should be anointed and then promptly be taken to the vet.

  4. Do as I say, not as I do. Obviously most, if not all, current Church of God leaders really do not believe what they preach. Must be the $$$. Of course the peasants must believe and obey or else.

  5. Sorry, I do not believe you! He has never mentioned that he had surgery. This is just another lie to malign Mr. Pack.

    1. And if he did have surgery, would that actually matter?

  6. Sometimes you just can't be anointed enough. And why would God allow some affliction to disrupt the only true work on planet earth? Oh yeah, I know, it is Satan attacking. No, for real, Dave is but a mere human being and he is getting old, these things happen. So spin it around Dave, give us a list of reasons for why it's ok for you to use doctors but not ok for your cult members. Tell us why your God would allow such at thing to happen to you. It has been awhile, can hardly wait. Am gyrating in my seat with expectation.

  7. 5:52. You might check you facts before you decide what to believe, but that is the problem with cult mentality, you will believe what is agreeable with your preconception of reality rather than what the evidence reveals.

  10. HWA justified Meredith's detached retina surgery a "repair" surgery. As opposed to what? Recreational surgery? "Say Rod, what are you doing this weekend?" "I think I might have some recreational surgery."

  11. Pack had surgery a few years back on his nose, sinus problems. I was attending when this happened. I do not know what he had done two weeks ago, but he does brag himself not using doctors or prescriptions.

  12. What happened to our buddy who used to do shabbos surveillance on Pack's compound from the Eagle, and give us occasional reports?

Probably if someone followed Pack into the supermarket they'd be able to tell us something of the nature of the operation by what he bought in the health and wellness section. As an example, if he picked up some items in the rectal care aisle, we'd know that maybe he had an operation to repair hemorrhoids, or had had a prostate operation.

  14. I'll have to plan another Sabbath vigil at the Wadsworth Giant Eagle parking lot soon- just maybe I'll get that long awaited glimpse of the end-time Elijah himself!

A few weeks back, I finally decided to make the pilgrimage to Grace Cathedral in Cuyahoga Falls to check out Rev Ernest Angley's Friday night shindig (now
I can cross that off my bucket list). Rev Angley paraded down the aisle flanked by his elite guard on each side just like the Pope and I got just a few feet
from him. Still going strong at 93, I like to think of Angley as the Liberace of televangelists. I was left speechless by the glory and awesomeness of his
televangelistness, not to mention that rug atop his head.

Mr Armstrong had a private jet... Rev Angley has a 747 registered to Aruba and one seriously bad toupee.

    Eat your heart out, ACOG's!!!

  15. It would be funny if Pack's sinus surgery was a nose transplant from a pig, and then every time Pack tried to give a sermon about the Old Testament, all he could do was oink!

(Actually, that would be little difference from his pre nasal surgery days.)
