Living Church of God Still in "Banned" Crisis Mode

Living Church of God absolutely despises this site. You know things are bad when Rod Meredith specifically mentioned this site in a sermon.  He exhorted members to not to read this site and to believe everything that comes out of his mouth and the LCG ministers as the real truth.  What happened instead was a dramatic increase in LCG members checking out the site.  It seems like every few days now some LCG minister or leader says or does something incredibly stupid.  The difference between now and the past is that LCG members are getting sick of it and reporting on it to this site and others.  The Living Church of God is in an "accountability" crisis mode.

I am nearly certain that annon is cut from the LCG cloth. Likely a minister. They have no clue how to deal with this site or how to start working on damage control. They monitor it constantly and are in Banned crisis mode. They try to pretend their members don't look at this site but all one has to do is to look at the map to see that many of their members look at this site - ALOT

Most LCG members and ministers alike know the stories coming out are true. All HQ can do is to keep preaching on the importance of obedience to God's ministry and about how important it is to keep looking at the big picture and not getting tripped up on the little things (like watching ministry falsely accuse brethren or abuse power in other ways or using tithes eg gir fancy trips to Hawaii or 100 other things). They have to keep reminding us that we might not understand why they do the things they do, but it's not for us to understand. It's our jobs to trust that they are led by Christ and to follow what they say if we want to make it as first fruits.

  1. I noticed that withing seconds of posting this that several "Charlotte" readers (ministers-LCG employees) popped on to read.

  3. What would really draw a lot of COG people to this blog is to give much more juicy detailes of the divisions inside of each of the major COG's. I think a lot of the COG people want to know what is going on in their own little group.

In some ways this blog is already doing this. My advice is to dig a little deeper.

I think this is what made the Ambassador Reports so popular with those that wanted to know what was happening.

  4. I rely on tips from various COG members. I never share their names. So the more I can get the more I can post.

  5. Regarding the Living group, Rod Meredith left his credentials behind in Pasadena when he got involved in forming Global, which disintegrated......proving God wasn't in it, in Global, or doing anything with Rod Meredith. Case closed!

But then Rod "repackaged" a remnant of Global and called it Living, which since its inception has proved to be anything but living. It appears dead and the group's name should be changed to reflect that condition.

As a group, they are stagnant. Their prophecies, yes also stagnant, are wrong and their timing is incorrect.

Those of the Living group, as well as others (e.g. United Association, Philadelphia, CoGWAssociation, etc.) are still telling us that "10 kings/nations" will shortly be on the world scene, but where are they?

Scripture indicates those "kings/nations" won't exist until Satan exits the bottomless pit.

And one could go on and on with their erroneous view of other prophecies, which many (most?) coming to this site are aware of. These groups have stagnated and those attending them seem to be totally unaware...as if asleep!

  6. Your reporting of the Young Meredith's lavish $$-Junkets-$$ to Hawaii is one of the BEST ACOG EXPOSE's I've read in a long time!

  7. And, sad to say, watch any serious ongoing/never-repented-of sins (out and out lying/stealing/adultery) to be tolerated as long as it's leading ministers or relatives.... I Samuel 2 's lessons are forgotten

  9. Kudos for the new web format!
Much nicer look, and easier to read, follow and comment as well.

  10. Hmm. Lets see how we can put this in typical COG hyperbole: BANNED is doing A POWERFUL WORLDWIDE WORK, brethren!

    LOL.

  11. Lol my friends and I were just commenting that every sermon at HQ is either about obeying and submitting to God's ministers OR about "ignoring the loose bricks" (ie pay no attention to the doctrinal changes or treatment of purge victims). Meredith wants us to keep our "eye on the big picture" and ignore the somewhat disturbing events of the last year.

Then I read this article and the same thing is reiterated!

Just so you know, HQ is certainly unhappy with the rise in LCG related articles on Banned but it is my belief that they grossly under estimate how many of their members visit this site, contribute to this site and are disgusted with the actions of some ministers (a minority of ministers).

  12. Your new layout looks good however I always have a problem trying to read purple text on a black background. Could you change the color of this type of text to make it more readable?

  13. I have no idea how the format changed. Blogger has been doing some weird things lately. Satan must be attacking us. I must be a prePentecost trial.

  14. It appeared pretty confused and confusing late last night, in fact I even wondered if you were under cyber attack. But, then the Blogger gears had appeared for a while while the site was loading, giving rise to a second thought that maybe there was an upgrade in process. And then today it "sort of" returned to the normal format, but with a different color scheme.

I'm just glad it didn't remain as it was last night. The main screen was a collage of all the graphics, just the pictures which you had to click on to access the written post and comments. It was barely navigable.

  16. BB. I almost think someone did try to hack me. I had 4,000 some hits yesterday. Way above normal.

  17. Purple pages?
Yes, Satan must be behind this.
I winder if Velvet's ears are burning.

    Winder, wonder, whatever.

  18. Hey Ralph,
I'm color weak, and it's almost impossible for me to read green text on a yellow background.
Or to find a red ball in green grass.

  19. Byker Bob said...It appeared pretty confused and confusing late last night, in fact I even wondered if you were under cyber attack.

Heck, it was well before that when I noticed it.
So if Satan attacked me first, that must mean I'm more righteous and "attack-worthy", lol!

PS: I trapped Satan in my refrigerator and have chains around it to hold him in til I sell him/it on Craigslist.

  20. Before Velvet's head gets any bigger than it already is, I should point out that she hasn't got the brains for a cyber-effort. That would be something "the Evangelicals" who ruined her perfect Victoria congregation would do.

  21. Attention Charlotte LCG members:

HQ will be conducting ministerial visiting program visits to each and everyone of you until we find out who is leaking information regarding our doctrinal upgrades, membership purge, (mis) use of tithe payer funds, misrepresentation of income & growth, sermon topics, new carpets, enormous homes, character assassination if your friends and overall dis-unity among the Counsel of Elders and other ministers.

    You have been warned.

  22. A few yrs ago, I really wondered why all of of a sudden, Mr. JIM M was appointd to scout and choose d feast sites and he got d best site to coordinate, that was hawaii. Then he gave a split sermon about d importance of keepng d 2nd tithe to enjoy and go to nicer places (implyng hawaii). For d past 2 yrs, he was in charge of Israel fot, and this yr to Hawaii again. He even gets special treatmt for early registration, while d rest of d fot sites had to wait. Is it really true that he'll stay at Marriot hotel for d entire feast? What about his construction company, did he really file for bankrupcy, and now got hired as full time in d ministry? And that mansion that everyone's talking about, is that really his? I'm stunned.

  23. Is this website safe.. and anonymous?

  24. Yes! Just make sure you post under "anonymous" or you can post under a fake name. There are several options on how to post.

  25. OK, because I am reading all the comments about LCG and can say from experience that much of it is true. I did meet some nice people but I always felt that for the most part they sincerely appeared to believe every word that was said in the sermons, cd's , booklets and dvd's.. I learned quickly not to ask any questions. I got a nod on that from a member when I said it.. I know someone who has gotten involved in this church and it has totally changed this person. I think that he/she really believes that if they leave the church now, after being baptized, that they will not gain salvation. It pains me to see this in someone I care about..
