Ron Weinland Has Massive Heart Attack While In Prison

Mike is reporting on Don't Drink the Flavor Aid Served By False Prophets  that imprisoned felon Ron Weinland had a massive heart attack on May 28.  This will soon be surely spun into some prophetic sign from Weinlands's god.

According to sources including a comment left on the blog, False Prophet Ronald Weinland suffered a heart attack last Thursday, May 28.  This was not his first heart attack, as he had one on or about August 4, 2005 and was out of commission for 5 weeks recovering from triple bypass heart surgery.  Word is that he returned to prison yesterday and is to have stents put in after he gets stronger.  Some skepticism on that from some quarters.  Perhaps he had urgently needed angioplasty in one area of the heart and they see some other areas that are marginal but not urgent.
JD left a comment:
People are upset in pkg.  Ron had a massive heart attack last Thursday and people are just finding out and are upset because it has been keep under wraps.  maybe the big wigs think people will start running for the doors if their mighty leader has fallen yet again.    Hmmmmmm maybe Ron is one of the ones who is scheduled to die for not repenting.  Has to start somewhere.
Reading the additional comments show that the PKG deliberately kept this from its members.  Others are questioning whey he was released till he gets better and then come back in for heart stents. There apparently is far more to the story than PKG is relaeasing.

  1. If Weinland, Meredith and Flurry went in one big pile our buddy Packman in Wadsville would sure have something to crow about. I bet Pack is fantasizing already, and he probably reads this blog...

    Hi Dave!!!

  2. I wonder if Weinland is in a coma, or suffered brain damage. This might explain the media blackout amongst his leaders.

  3. Now Ronco....you should know that David C Pack does NOT like to be called Dave He is too important to be called such a familiar name. It really irritates the hell out of him to be called Dave.

    Dave. Dave. Dave. Dave.

  4. Weinland loses power of speech == prophesied famine of the word?

  5. This is the third bit of medical news we've been briefed on recently (Meredith, Pack, and now Weinland). The details are too sketchy at this point, but one wonders if anyone within the PKG fold has the skill set to spin and milk the event. That would be the normal pattern for Armstrongism.

Early release would be a travesty. That's the thing my own vote would be against.

  6. This must be a false story. Mr. Weinland is one of the two witnesses. This cannot happen. What will you believe, reality or a fiction story?

  7. You can also add to the list of sick leaders Gerald Flurry who is also in declining health. Maybe they will all die all at once and solve a lot of problems!

  8. I can't believe I am saying this, but it has to be enormously stressful for all the ministers who were once put on a pedestal as being hand-picked by HWA, worshiped and treated like royalty by the membership, to now see their prestige and following so diminished. They had so much power and control over us. They were smug and confident. I remember sermons spouting about how God's servants were entitled to the very best and biggest portion of the offerings for their calling. Talk about Humility 101. They have to see their influence declining. I wonder how many treat for depression over what once was, and is no longer. I cannot imagine the fall from grace is easy to take.

  9. Anon. 2:55, What you say is true. However, I have more sympathy for some of the people who actually brought some happiness into our lives who were once affluent and famous, like rock stars. Because many of the ACOG ministers were so arrogant and calloused in their adminstration of so-called church government, it is difficult to feel much for them. There were some who were what we could call "less bad", but we must remember that even they were involved in teaching and supporting a very toxic and false system. Affluence and culture are of no value if obtained through cruelty to others. In recently reading Marion McNair's book, it appears that many of the ministers who left in 1973-74 were men of conscience. They proved, in my opinion, that they were not just in it to ride the gravy train.

  10. The problem is the biggest spinmeister of the org is the very one whose brain may have been damaged.
So, we'll maybe see no more skillful spin related to Ron's medical or other fantabulous doctrional issues and prophecies.
Personally, I'm praying my ass off to Jesus asking to heal Ron so at least he can provide more entertainment of the spinning kind.
I do realize that Jesus is busy with the Duggars and sports game requests and Mike Huckabee, Jeb Bush and Ted Cruz now, so I will forgive Jesus if my prayers aren't answered quickly.
I do have faith that other church leaders will step up and provide a healthy dose of spinning entertainment. (Or, that the Silent Witness will finally open her mouth and provide us with a quiverfull of zingers.)

  11. When will it end?

I wonder what's in "Mommy's" head while this unfolds.

If Mommy's husband Ron dies, will she take the spot of #1 witness (however silent) and suddenly realize that daughter Audra (of ice cream fame) is the #2 Witness and then Audra suddenly starts being an "I-scream" person being not so silent and screaming stupid prophetess things like her father did?

I don't think either Mommy or Audra could be a leader of the church that the members would care for, so if Ron dies, Mommy would appoint a minister (Johnny?) as head of their church but in name only, while Mommy and Audra (and possibly Jeremy) collect and enjoy the tithes by taking another vacation cruise to show their resolve for the cause of God and maybe buy yet another luxury BMW for Jeremy.
