Exposing the underbelly of Armstrongism in all of its wacky glory! Nothing you read here is made up. What you read here is the up to date face of Herbert W Armstrong's legacy. It's the gritty and dirty behind the scenes look at Armstrongism as you have never seen it before!
With all the new crazy self-appointed Chief Overseers, Apostles, Prophets, Pharisees, legalists, and outright liars leading various Churches of God today, it is important to hold these agents of deception accountable.

The Intense Persecution of the Churches of God
Every time a Church of God leader screams "persecution" remember this...
I am an agnostic and belong to no religion. Even if I was sure that God exists I would never attend or belong to any religion again. Being on the outside looking in it is easy to see how churches take advantage of people. I guess it takes a lot of money to build or buy church buildings, employ paid ministers and staff. This is why many churches push their members to become tithe slaves. When I left Armstrongism I was shocked at how many mainstream churches push tithing a practice I thought was mainly pushed by cultic organizations.
Well, you have to look at the bright side. They can still fantasize about being gloriously persecuted, but the ACOGs are just not getting their share of the pie any more. Some might say that constitutes persecution, but I call it ..........wait for it..................karma!
"They were put to death by stoning; they were sawed in two; they were killed by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated . . . ." Hebrews 11:37
Misused as were many other Scriptures toward the slaves in the Armstrong Empire, we were given this as "This might happen to you if you don't obey the ministry." And then there was an odd mixture -- an encouragement toward a feeling of pride (no other word for it) if you were having some trouble at home or work because of what you were trying to practice. It may just have been CONCERN on the part of people who knew you that all this was so bizarre, that you weren't acting sensibly. (And those concerned people were right.)
Some of the sheep looked for persecution EVERYWHERE . . . and inevitably found it. Groups from Sunday-keeping Protestant churches near Feast sites would go to the shopping centers, look for that distinctive sticker on the bumper, and put photocopied literature under your windshield wipers which attempted to point out where Armstrong was WRONG. (Not difficult!) And some felt this was PERSECUTION!
Yup! I see the tremendous persecution the ministry in the PCG faces daily! As they schmooze with the high society in Edmond (yes, there are a few), get their pictures taken with the Governor, etc. The ministry live in large homes, drive nice cars and even brag about how they never leave HQs even for weeks. It always warms my heart when Mr. Malone and other ministers tell us from the pulpit how their children have never heard a Christmas jingle or seen holiday decorations. Oh, and isn't it cute how the Malone kids ask for Organic Balsalmic dressing for their salads at restaurants instead of Ranch dressing like the rest of the uncultured swine that they come in contact with. Don't forget Mr. Locker always giving sermons about how tough things are financially for the Work, yet he and his wife send their daughters to all those Irish Feis with their very expensive dresses, love seeing the Lochers in their expensive Bronco jerseys on game day too! Very cute! Please tell me more about how you're persecuted for the Sabbath and your beliefs, I'd love to hear how you suffer just like the common man. The bulletin every month states that "the ministry is here to serve you!" Yet Mr. Turgeon tells us from the pulpit that we can't call him on Sunday because that's his family time, and not to call him in the evenings. Yet the ministry will call us at anytime, and I've had my phone ring from them at 6 in the morning!
11:01. No, Anonymous, they have a great purpose in the Kingdom of Rod! Their purpose is to be spanked! That's how Uncle Roddy got his nickname! He once shared an anecdote involving the spanking of his teenage daughters. I have no idea whether he was also the one who gave an infamous sermon involving the occasional necessity of spanking one's wife, but I have seen him credited with that as well. It's all part of the same toxic mentality. Can't allow them to express their God-given free will, ya know!
On the subject of spanking one's wife (rather kinky - was this in the Missing Dimension in Sex booklet?), I am reminded of what our Preaching Elder Vince Panella at the WCG congregation in Baltimore, Maryland once said from the pulpit - "How do you handle a rebellious wife? YOU RAPE HER!" Sounds like the women in the WCG got the most intense persecution in the Churches of God.
They're all a bunch of lying bastards they stick to the hospital when they're sick and what others died. Can somebody say hypocrite will have their part in the Lake of Fire. Hopefully it will end up like it was in the New Testament house churches only. Has the east line hypocritical bastards all die off. May God the Father treat them the way they treated others at the end of their lives with their sickness painting nothing but pain they certainly deserve it they showed no mercy so none will be shown to them. You need no man to teach you these things the spirit of God will lead you into all truth not men. So grow up people get the hell out of these groups and start growing with God as an individual. No, that looks more like a typical RCG member in the picture, who did not catch on in time and handed over everything he owned to David Pack.
David Pack is in a different picture, surrounded by all sorts of stolen goodies.

Where are Rod's two daughters Do they feature in the nepotism program
ReplyDeleteRod's daughters don't fit into the equation because they are women. Women have no place in the patriarchy of the Church of God

ReplyDeleteYes it was Roddy himself that said sometimes you need to spank you wife. Heard him say it on more than one occasion
